Great location, good size rooms, very quiet, excellent breakfast, most staff very friendly and helpful

Major complaint was with the male person on the front desk. He was quite disinterested and unhelpful. One of our group asked for ice for drinks in his room but was told there was none available! We had also arranged a late check out. When it was 5 minutes past the normal check out time he rang and told us in an abrasive manner that we should have already checked out. His attitude was not helpful at all which is a shame as all the other staff were delightful and very accommodating.

The location was close to the river and historic sites all within walking distance.

Breakfast was from 8-11. There never seemed to be enough staff to keep things replenished. Coffee was in a small carafe and guests had to keep asking for more. It seems like breakfast should start at 7 or 7:30 because so many have to be told to wait till 8:00 for even coffee. Coffee could be put out in a larger container and be available at 6:00 am on. The location was noisy at night due to road construction. Make sure to have ear plugs or white noise so you can sleep.

Great location just a few minutes from the river, luxurious hotel retaining a historic feel. Room was spacious and we had a view of the street. Breakfast was great - good selection and freshly made eggs cooked to order. Best things - comfy bed, breakfast til 11am and checkout at 12 - so we had lovely lazy and relaxed mornings and ate well ready for lots of walking in this picturesque city. Really recommend.

Nothing, it was lovely. Some noise from the street (not the hotel’s fault!) as it was warm and we had our window open rather than use the AC.

The hotel is relatively new but the building is very old. Everything is very nicely restored and clean - just be aware that this is a boutique hotel in an old building, hence not all amenities of a modern or larger hotel can be provided. If you value character and a great location, this hotel is for you. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large and very clean.

Some of our rooms were only accessible via stairs (due to the "old building" situation). This was not really clear upon reservation, could be an issue for some people. Also, some of the rooms had little or very little space to place clothes and stuff. Breakfast buffet was quite small for this hotel category, but - except for coffee and bread - quality overall was good. They should really invest in a proper coffee machine for breakfast, the quality that is provided is insufficient. I am rating a charitable 9 overall because these negatives were not decisive for me.

Had an exceptional stay here: cannot praise it enough, from the cleanliness of the room, to the friendliness of the staff, to the perfect location near the riverfront and across the road from the Bolsa Palace. 10/10 would recommend for fellow travelers, particularly for those looking for a safe area and a modern/clean place in which to stay.

Cannot think of anything, really: perhaps a bigger fridge int he room, if I have to be nitpicky. Otherwise, we were happy with everything. The check-in and check-out process were also both very smooth.

Beautiful boutique hotel minutes from the river and attractions . Staff were amazing they couldn't do enough to help. Flight arrived late ,no issues with access as securtity on duty was there to allow access. Rooms spacious and spotlessley clean , room had a mini bar , prices very reasonable , futniture minimilist but tasteful. Lift access to all floors which is a bonus as when searching for accommidation many properties in Porto are old and have no lifts so not suitable for those with mobility issues . Breakfast was included , continental readily available and the choice of cooked food ,cooked fresh to order .

Only negative , which we appreciate has to be done , during our stay maintanence started on the lifts which went on longer than expected and created lots of noise from early morning . Due to my mobility issues the staff gave us access through the cafe with minimal stairs to access the staff lift . Satff were very apologetic for the inconvenience and to be fsir it was someyhingbout of their control.

Potential accident bathroom steps kept me on my toes. A way from the metro. A few things did go wrong, but all minor & all well solved by the staff. It’s how small problems are addressed that counts.

Great location. Great decor. So new and clean. Breakfast was 10/10. Staff were amazing. We couldn’t make breakfast one morning because we had to leave early for a trip and they put together a couple of snack boxes for us which was really lovely. Robes and slippers in our bedroom. Box of chocolates and vouchers for local restaurants. We honestly couldn’t have had better. We booked this hotel because it was one of the most reasonably priced for the location and I couldn’t believe the standard of it for the price! Breakfast was so lovely and the hotel is so small that there were never more than 3 couples in the dining room so it was a lovely relaxed environment every morning.

The desk staff was great. They were able to provide advice on the best way to get to the sites that we really wanted to see and helped arrange transportation. Very proficient with English.

The room had very little storage space for clothes. The shower did not drain well, so that in the morning I would be stepping into cold water to turn on the shower.

Clean and comfortable. This hotel might be remodeled recently, so very newly room. The chair was provided in the shower, so we can sit and take a shower. This shows how the hotel has considered the convenience of guests. This has special structure. The shower room and rest room is situated in second floor. The breakfast is nice. Even if there were not many kind of foods, but it was very fresh. Especially if I ordered one of three foods, the cooker cooked himself and gave me. This is very interesting experience I have not experienced whiling traveling so far.

The room is not small, however there are no table to put things on and there are not not enough outlets.
