Location was superb, in the very center, right on the bank of the river, with exquisite views from the windows. Room was a little bit on a small side, but sufficient, and quite inexpensive, considering location. Staff was very nice and friendly. Plenty of great restaurants around, including absolutely amazing Fado place Mal Cozinhado - just 300 m from the hotel along the river.

The room was a bit too dark in the evenings - should install brighter lights. We tried breakfast just once - it was sufficient, but not great, so we preferred to eat outside.

The room was a little small and would have benefitted from having tea making facilities in the room. I would not have described it as a superior twin.

If visiting Porto this hotel is well located, right on the quayside and close to many of the tourist attractions. The initial welcome was very good, the hotel is clean and comfortable and the 24/7 tea and coffee facility is great. Only two downsides at this hotel - one is the lack of any communal relaxation area, the other is that the breakfast service seems unable to cope, even at times when the breakfast isn’t particularly busy. More staff are needed to clear tables and keep the breakfast bar stocked. The staff do what they can and are friendly but at times there were no cleared tables and the bar was missing several items. Otherwise, this is a very good hotel.

Fabulous hotel in superb location close enough to all the attractions Porto has to offer. Right next to the riverfront and our room had a great view too. Breakfast was really good and always topped up no matter what time you got there. Value for money for a riverfront hotel was excellent. Just one fly in the ointment being the pavement musician who played to the crowds every night (apart from the rainy one). However he did seem to stop at midnight, so it didn't affect our sleep! Also, be aware that the hotel is in a prime tourist visiting area, therefore there are restaurants and boat trip meeting points right outside, so it will be noisy whilst the boat trips are running and in the evenings. All that being said, I would still highly recommend this great little hotel.

Great location in the historic centre, our room had a view of the D. Luís bridge and the river. The square is noisy with music playing until late in the evening and people eating and chatting but we liked that. The beds and pillows are really comfy and we slept well. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the food was quality with freshly prepared oranges and melon. The staff were friendly and helpful. They found us somewhere safe to store our bikes when we had to collect them a day earlier than anticipated for our bike tour down Eurovelo route 1 to Lisbon.

Their was a fantastic view of the Luiz I bridge from our hotel room. It was a short walk to the city center, but it was a little less chaotic than other parts of the city (although we could hear live music in the square every day, but it ended pretty early and was never loud enough to be an annoyance). If you are a walker and don't have a car to worry about, this hotel is awesome.

We could have used more details on how to access the hotel--it is in a car-free area, but our communications were not that helpful in figuring out how to drop off my husband's parents close to the hotel, or where to park. Private cars are not permitted on the Luiz I bridge, so keep that in mind when you're planning your trip.

Great location for by foot exploration of the city. Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice rooms with amazing view.

The towel rail was very high on the wall and the shower head top holder so high I couldn't reach it, the shower head had to stay and body level, couldn't stand underneath, are Portuguese people giants?! Strange. No tea/coffee facilities in room

The view! We did not use the AC so not sure if it worked or how.

Shower, the head was old the water came our in 2 big section rather than the wholes plus on the wall there was to holder position one in the heigh or your stomach one way above your head, so up the water hitting your face hurts and it would even bend cause it's to close to the wall. No position in between just that two spots on the wall so that was not fun! For the money they could have put a separate shower gel, shampoo and conditioner not a 3in1 bottle that was actually pretty bad even for showering. Glad I took my own with me but for a hotel for the money I would rather have those than have someone fold the bed after a night sleep.

The hotel is ideally position with a view of Luis 1 Bridge & the river. It is centrally positioned in the old town & to cross over the bridge to see both sides of the river. The rooms are spotless & cleaned daily, with bottled water & towels replaced each day. The staff are always friendly & helpful. We found it was close to lovely restaurants & shopping. Both train stations are within a 15minute walk. There was a small balcony to the front of our room which provided fabulous views & atmosphere. Although central we did not find it noisy but atmospheric when music played outside when we opened the doors to the balcony . I would definitely recommend this hotel.
