The breakfast had a great selection of beverages and local treats. We liked the personnel who were very smiling and welcoming. The location was convenient next to stores and a local market with a variety of fruits. The bedroom was good size.

The fact that we had one hour per day to use the pool. We came with children in chilly days and this was something we booked the hotel for. One hour is a bit rushy and you need to book in advance to use the pool. I would change it to 1 and a half hours to be able to enjoy without feeling chased away.

The breakfast is really good there's everything you could think of! Sweet and savory, cold and hot beverage, fruits, meat, lots of breads... Everything. The room was a bit dirty in my opinion because I saw a lot of dust in the closest... And also on the tables

The price for this hotel was a bit high. To go to the pool you have to book first as the reception you can't go as you please in the day and if there's no place left you can't get in the pool... I chose this hotel for the pool

My husband and I stayed at the Vila Gale Porto Centro Hotel to celebrate my birthday and explore Porto. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station, supermarkets, restaurants, and tourist attractions, which we were able to walk to. During our stay, the receptionist Joana and the incredible staff provided us with helpful information about the surrounding areas. The hotel surprised me on my birthday with a cake and wine, which was a lovely gesture. The restaurant staff, including Ana Oliveira, Mariana, and Daia (apologies for not remembering all the names), were friendly and accommodating. The hotel's leisure facilities, including the spa and gym, were fantastic. Special thanks to Rosalina and Fabiana. The entire hotel staff was well-trained and always ready to assist. Thank you all. I like everything.

We liked the room, it was spacious and clean, with a nice view from the 14th floor. The location is convenient, 5 minutes walk to the metro, 5 minutes by car from Campanha train station, 15-20 minutes walk to the city center. The wifi was good. There is a late check out option (until 14:00) for 10 euros, we found it very convenient.

The location. Although the hotel is in a walking distance from the city center, the whole area is a bit run down and it did not look safe at night. The breakfast. Too many people, poor quality of food. Overall, the hotel was a bit overpriced for the quality provided.

The room facilities were good as expected and baby bed was provided upon request. Really friendly staff, and at day of departure we had a health issue with hospital involved, the staff was very cooperative in arranging taxi's and provided us late check-out with no additional cost. This was highly appreciated - hats off! The indoor pool was really nice as well and great view. Maybe just a bit more warm water in the pool would be good. Breakfast has wide options available to suit any type of breakfast.

Room looked and felt a bit outdated, yet was not really of any issue to us (the bed was good, comfortable and clean and is of most importance to us). Given the price we paid including breakfast and Spa possibilities this did not affect our rating.

Location , good breakfast

Although the hotel wasn't fully booked, we were given a room facing a construction site. The sound of drilling from 7 am woke us up every day except Sunday, so we didn't get enough sleep. Additionally, the hotel was booked with my card with funds blocked, and the reception staff wouldn't let my husband in without prepayment. Since he didn't want to use another card, he offered to hold a deposit for 2 hours until I arrived, but they still didn't allow him access to the room. Very unprofessional!

The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The bed was super comfy and the room was well-equipped. The pool and the spas are a really nice addition too. The breakfast was great too, with a lot of variety. Best of all, the view is indeed amazing. Overall, a great choice and a really nice stay.

Sometimes the queues / waiting lines at the elevators were getting so long that one might have think that the biggest touristical attraction in Porto was inside this hotel. The gym has a great view over the city but a rather poor variety of weights and equipment.

The service was excellent, amazing buffet breakfast, comfortable rooms and great pool. Very close to a metro station and we were able to walk to many places from there. Concierge were happy to book us a taxi and were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were made up beautifully every day, even setting up our kids' stuffed toys sweetly om their pillow. We had dinner in the buffet restaurant one night and the host was so thoughtful.

- Pool was great - myself and my kid enjoyed the pool a lot. Even though it is small, the hotel manages to limit the access at certain time via booking - it requires a bit of booking/planning but this went super smooth for us. - Breakfast was plenty - we really enjoyed the variety of melons and fruits. - We was lucky enough to get the room with higher view towards the city with help from a staff member - it is really recommended. Room was clean and got cleaned every day. - Staffs were communicative and very helpful - we appreciate that a lot. - The location was great - close to super market, KFC, bus/metro. It takes less than 20 minutes by walk to get to most parts in the centrals of Porto.

The only thing I don't like is the bed - I used to sleep in a king-size bed, thus it is a bit uncomfortable without that (we got two small bed combined instead).

The hotel was near the merto station (about 300m). The staff was very polite, especially the senior lady in the spa department was interested about the guests, which was very nice. We really liked the breakfast and the spa and the kindness of the staff. They cleaned the room every day without asking.

The gym actually is not a gym, although there are a couple of dumbells. If you want to lift weights you must find another place. Nice view though.
