Room was comfortable and clean, mini refrigerator was very helpful! Staff were helpful and friendly, especially the man working the front desk!

Better directions to the place. We had GPS in our rental car and still couldn't find it without calling Vilamar.

Excellent location to explore Luz. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, food from the snack bar is really good quality and exceptional value. I've stayed a few times now and highly recommend it.

I loved it! First, it is so less money! Then, you have a lot of space in your room! And in the garden too! The pools and the palm trees next to it give a very tropical feeling. Ocean view included. The stuff is very polite and breakfast is just 7euro with fruits, bread and coffee. I traveld as an alone woman and felt very comftable. You can feel very free and save. The area is very save, there are also no strees in luz, where its pretty and in the next street its dirty and creepy people walk around. So you can go out and come back late. What i like, is that the hotel is behind a gate sourrounded by walls. It gives this extra feeling of havibg your private space! I will come back, thanks for everything!

This is not a luxury hotel - but clean, simple and comfortable! The staff however are 5 star. The facilities are easily accessed and the location is perfect either for relaxing by the pool with a sea view or walking to the beach or many restaurants just 15 minutes away! 2 minutes by car!! The en suite rooms with hairdryer are large and airy with plenty of wardrobe space and a safe.

It would have been nice to have a kettle or bottles of water in tge Tom.

We bought breakfast a couple of mornings, and it was better than the breakfast we bought on the beach. Very very good indeed. The size of the room great! The outer space with the beautiful r e a l grass lawn and pool, right Outside our windows - not much people and a very cool atmosphere. Quite a large refridgerator in the room was really good! And I must mention that the price, in october, was really low! So the stay was better than we expected!!

Everything was great!

- the location - away from the crowds, but within a walking distance from the centre - the price was affordable - the pool was nice (although the water was colder than in the ocean in October) - the room was big, it had a small terrace and enough storage space - the bathroom was clean and rather spacious - there was a fridge in the room

- the interiors definitely need renovating - some glasses for drinking water should be provided in the room - the mattress was very hard

Big room with a couch and a private patio that goes straight into the "backyard" with a pool and ocean view. Also a small fridge in the room. It has a nice relaxed feel - almost like you are staying at a resort, but for regular people :). It's a 5 minute drive from the beach - which is great, with a beautiful boardwalk with restaurants along the way.

The only thing we did not like was the bed was a hard, but we still slept well. It was quiet. If you are looking for a luxury stay this probably won't be the place for you because it is a bit old style. But for us, it was so nice that we extended our stay.

Wonderful garden and pool! The room has a small patio with direct access to the pool and the pool was never crowded. the music was playing very softly in the background and the house rules for the pool is that the guests are only allowed to listen to their own music if wearing headphones, to not disturb other guests.

Our last night an intruder entered the hotels grounds and was roaming the garden, most likely to see if any of the rooms were open. I discovered him because he started filming into our room and when I saw him and yelled out he ran away and escaped the hotel grounds. The staff ensured me that they would increase security measures after this incident, but if you do get a ground floor room, never leave the garden door unlocked and always close your curtains at night.

Very calm place to rest from the city, has its own parking which was very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A room has everything you need: an air conditioning, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, TV and a safe. In the morning you can have a coffee by the pool or next to your room. (Each room got a table outside, right next to the entrance door of your room). There is also a place where you can hang wet clothes to dry, loved it!The beach of Luz is just 3 minutes away by car, or 15-20 minutes on foot. The hotel is perfect for its price!

Wasn’t really sure about the cleaning service, only our towels were changed during the stay. But it is not a big deal. Everything was perfect.

Spacious room great location

The property was fine and the food was good but we were disappointed with the behaviour of the waiter who had obviously had a few drinks and was rude when we questioned the bill total and refused to check it. The receptionist came and sorted out the bill which was indeed overcharged. It was not so much the money but the attitude of the waiter which spoiled the evening!
