The lack of a defibrillator. A guest had a heart attack while bathing and sadly there wasn’t a defibrillator on site which could of helped save her. A 5* hotel really should have something in place. Also the lack of dignity when she was removed was just not good enough.

it’s beautiful and in x great location

On Saturday there was an horrific incident around the pool which was extremely distressing for all who were there. I didn’t mention this at check out because I didn’t want to make it known to everyone, however I could like a call to discuss this further.

The staff! All of the people from the porters to the desk staff were absolutely delightful and friendly. Without a doubt, we will be back.

the location couldn’t have been better. the view from our room over the marina was incredible. the breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever seen.

wasn’t told in advance that the pool was being refurbished. this was a major reason for choosing this hotel. we were able to use the purobeach facilities but there was work being carried out on the beach also so wasn’t a very relaxing time while they erected a new structure. also, ordered a taxi which said 38 euro on the website but got charged 45 euro on arrival at the airport. didn’t have enough money so had to pay on my card.

The location was perfect and we especially enjoyed our room with a sea view. It was spacious and cleaned every day. we enjoyed the daily sunshine alongside the newly refurbished main swimming pool even if the pool water was very cold. Perhaps not surprising given the time of year. Well organised and very satisfactory breakfast with plenty of choice. There was a great range of value for money restaurants around the nearby Marina and a beautiful beach close to the hotel.

Tried the indoor swimming pool on one day but it was also very cold so didn’t return. Tried the restaurant one evening and I can’t say it was value for money. Although it was buffet the choice was limited in terms of main course and desserts. It was very expensive compared to Marina restaurants.

Gorgeous hotel, refurbished to a high standard. Lovely new rooms, with a great view and very close to everything, but not so close that you are kept up by the noise of the lively bars and heavy drinkers at night - a perfect spot! Staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Peppers steakhouse within the hotel is without a doubt the best food in the whole marina!!

The pool area was a bit plain and dated and the kids pool and all kids facilities could do with improvement. Given that this is such a family holiday area, I would expect a proper kids club facility and splash pool area (rather than the v small boring kids pool) - It’s a shame as the purobeach pool looked lovely but is adults only.

the hotel was very clean and comfortable. the staff were amazing especially Steven (bar by the pool) and Henrique who worked by the pool aswell as at the Glee. both very nice men who also had a smile and wanting to make our experience better! much credit to them two. also the Argo was lovely their cocktails were delicious and the service was just as good!! we loved peppers steak house 😋. overall an amazing experience will definitely be returning asap

only problem was there was no warning about the main pool being shut before our arrival but they were very accommodating and allowed us to use the private pool but luckily it reopened 2 days before we left so got to enjoy that aswell!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded upon arrival and were welcomed with a bottle of bubbly in the room. Great breakfast options, especially catering for gluten free and vegan etc. Beautiful location.

Shower was noisy and the wall mount for the handheld shower head was cracked. Unfortunately there had been some local fires and the hotel smelt of smoke for a few days. I was surprised to see some doors were kept open on the days the smoke was particularly bad. We had a great view of the marina but unfortunately the close proximity of the “19th Hole” bar massively lets the hotel image down. It resulted in difficulty getting to sleep most nights due to loud drunken groups of men continuing into the early hours of the morning. Better sound insulation of balcony doors would be a worthwhile investment. A designated smoking area for sun bathers would be a good idea as on a few days we had several smokers around us whilst we were trying to relax in the sun (not ideal as my wife is pregnant).

The beach in front of the hotel puro beach is 50 euros the sun bed when it should be for free or maximun 14 euros like beaches next to it. When it was windy, the balcony sliding doors made a lot of noise during the night when we were sleeping.

Friendly staff very helpful. Good quality facilities. Perfect location next to beach and Marina. Good sized rooms although lounge in Junior Suite was on the small side for our requirements. Indoor pool was a nice temperature. Food quality was good.

Disappointed that for some restaurants you would have to still pay a certain amount towards the food despite having half board. Outdoor swimming pools were cold, need heated pools. Had to pay for sun loungers at the beach even though discounted.
