The room was larger than we expected for the price we paid. Slept with no issues, beds where comfortable, air conditioning worked well. The restaurant was amazing too. The evening meal was exceptional and breakfast was a self serve buffet. Staff where super friendly and helpful with providing local knowledge. Provided Free Shuttle from the airport and helped us with luggage.

Found out on check in that they provide a cruise package which includes transportation to the cruise terminal from the hotel. If we would have know we would have booked this. Was a bit disappointed the hotel couldn't accept payments at check in for the shuttle to the cruise terminal but this was beyond the control of the hotel staff.

Location is convenient to get to the Penn Newark train station and then go to NY Penn station ( Empire State) or Path ( cheaper) train. Room is large enough and clean. Room clean service is every day also a continental breakfast is offered. Overall a good experience.

The most annoying thing is that access to the hotel was only from one direction, you have to make a large detour to get back. Sound proofing was not so great, babies were crying somewhere around us. There is no way to open a window for some fresh air, only the AC to cool the room.

We were supposed to arrive via an international flight, but our flight was canceled and we rebooked to a new flight 2 days later. However, we were within the 24 hour period when we received the flight cancellation, so we would not get a refund. I called Best Western directly and sent a message on Booking.com to reschedule our booking for 2 days later and asked if they can not charge us for the previous booking. They understood our difficulties and accommodated to our new travel plans. Thank you for understanding and being flexible. In addition to their flexibility, the hotel is always within minutes of the airport and the shuttle is available every 30 minutes 24 hours a day to take us to and from the airport. That is the biggest reason why we continue to choose this hotel over others.

Due to the climate in New Jersey, the floor in the room is always wet and icky to our feet. We always need to turn up the thermostat in the room to dry the floors. They should ask their housekeeping not to keep the thermostat so low after cleaning the room.

Convenience and ease of getting to and from the airport was of primary importance to me. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and courteous while I was there and on the phone before I came. Thank you to them. The room was comfortable and the on site restaurant very much appreciated. I always stay here when I come to the NY/NJ area through EWR.

The hotel is really close to the airport, which makes it an excellent stay for when you have a short layover. The airport shuttle is really fast, and they can be dialled when you reach P4 with the air train. In general, it takes about fifteen minutes for the shuttle to arrive and the drivers are really friendly and helpful.

You get the impression that the hotel can be reached from Newark Airport Train Station, though remember this is not possible! This has nothing to do with the hotel, it's just that the infrastructure does not permit it.

Everything was perfect, the room was available early and I really needed the room after a terrible experience the night before. I liked how it was close to the airport and provided free transportation to the airport.

That my one of my cards did not work, but I don't think that was any fault of the hotel, I believe it was just one of those things that happen.

Room was surprisingly large. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Shuttle service to the airport goes every half hour and brought me directly to the terminal.

Hotel looks like it's close to the railway station, but there's actually no way to get there by foot. Need to take the monorail to the airport instead and take a shuttle back to the hotel from there.

We had a flight that was cancelled, and we had slept on the floor in the airport, after we got to the hotel, Pamela who was at the front desk, was able to get us into a room as soon as they cleaned it. She went above and beyond the call of duty to help us take the stress away, after that, it was all a bonus!!

The staff in the bar were very nice. Wine tasty.

No clock in the room. Asked to get a wake up call at 6 am. . Did not receive a call. We woke up at 7. Dressed in 25 minutes to catch our shuttle. 3 people at the front desk. When I asked who I could address my concerns with no one answered at first. A young lady then took the lead. I told her the situation. She checked the record and said yes our request was recorded but somehow it did not get processed. I then said that upper management should have clocks put in every room. She said Oh the last people staying in room probably stole the clock and the people who clean the room didn't notice or report it. They didn't seemed to concerned but we could have missed our flight. There also was no hairdryer in the room. We had to ask for one although we never got to use it.

Airport shuttle service . 24/7 reception. Adequate breakfast.

The following needs immediate attention...the bath in our bathroom was very slippy and therefore dangerous as there is nowhere on the adjacent wall to hold on to. !!!!!! A requested wake-up call did not materialize.
