Asked for a quiet, no pet room and got it, bed super comfortable, great robe to lounge in, clean, chargers easy to access, 12pm checkout 5:30-7:30 gathering for appetizers in the club room, watched Jeopardy and had a bit to eat so I did not have to leave the hotel or buy dinner, breakfast available too - all included in my room rate with Marriott membership # Shuttle was easily available, a very short trip from/to the terminals and drivers were so kind lobby was very nice (easy to see shuttle) with areas to sit and charging table for phones/laptops and there was a large sitting room/library/computer area off to the side

these are more suggestions than problems.... missed breakfast in the club by a few minutes, my fault, thought it was till 10:30 would be nice to have tea available alongside the coffee, to have decaf even in the morning and some unsweetened almond or oat milk along with the cream - maybe have this in the room off of the lobby for everyone, not just in the club room

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, they have the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. The room was starting to show its age a bit but was still very comfy and clean.

We travel with a pet, and based on Booking.com's say that it was "pet friendly", we booked. What they did NOT say was the there was an additional cost of $126. That's just stupid: both non-disclosure and cost. Very unhappy about that.

Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel was good for the purpose we booked it for - proximity to the airport and the airport shuttle. It was very convenient to get to New York via shuttle, air train, and Amtrak. The staff were helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the shuttle service reliable and non-stop. Highly recommended for transit travelers who just want to see Manhattan before flying further.

Internet in the room costs extra. I never had that before, and for the room price I thought it should have been included.

The staff was superb in providing excellent service. Their computer system went offline and they were unable to check guests in or out. The front desk staff, led by Rick, never got upset or rude or impatient with anyone during that difficult situation. The restaurant also has spectacular cuisine...not your regular, boring hotel meals.

Close to Newark Airport, friendly staff

We arrived at 11pm from 19 hours of travel and couldn’t get any food at the hotel, or even in the immediate area. Thank goodness for Uber Eats or we couldn’t have got food till breakfast the next day.

hotel was nice..met our needs..shuttle to airport and the ability to leave our cars was a big plus!! The hotel not being willing to pick up at the cruise port was a disappointment.

Bed was super comfortable! The view from the room was awesome. The bar area was very nice as well as the conference rooms were very nice.

Towels had some stains on them. But that is the only thing that I had a problem with.

Arrived tired after flight, early in the morning and they gave me room immediately with no extra cost. It has a very good price to quality ratio in the region and stuff is helpful and polite.

the room was a bit worn down, looked like it had seen better days. we could also hear everything going on in the hall and room next door.
