1. Check in. took time. 2. Soundproofing issues 3. I was staying on room 507 and in order to reach it from B1 or B2 then i need to change elevators . 4.I came with kids and asked for connecting rooms and I was not given due to"fully booked". We should have the priority! 5. Pillows are not comofrtable 6. AC is too cold and blankets are not good. 7. Very old and outdated furniture.

The room was very spacious and the reception and pool area are so beautiful. But the thing that makes this hotel stand out are the staff! I had an incredible experience there with from the ladies at reception handling my check in doing everything they could to help me with an earlier check in to Jousef lending me a charger because I didn’t have the right adapter and personally showing me around the hotel and introducing me to the incredible chefs at breakfast. To see how proud and happy these men are to work here and to share their food was such a wholesome experience. The breakfast was also amazing. The most incredible hummus and Labneh!

I struggled a little to get the room to a temperature that suits me. I don’t like strong aircons or when the room is too cold but I could seem to heat up the room well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location has parking and no reservation is needed. The breakfast was diverse. It was very clean.

The rooms vere connected with other rooms and there was a lot of noise from the neighbors when we needed to put our child to slep. We called the reception the first time and they didn't do anything for 20-30min, then called again in the room to ask if it's the same. Only after my husband told them that he was about to call again they went to that room. It happened again the next days, the third time my husband went directly to the door asking them to stop. The doors where very noisy also, they were slamming all the time. The furniture is old style. The heat was not functioning, only the cooling, and we needed a heater because it was cold in the room at night.

Check in was nice as we’d booked 27th Nov-3rd Dec ( & arrived at hotel very early morning of 28th (2.45am) after a very long time in a line to get through security at Airport (took 2 hours). Room was clean, decent sized & with a comfy bed (just a few items not in room). Breakfast each day was lovely with a great selection to choose from & nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff at all (Rindu should be given a special mention as he was so pleasant) The egg station staff were great - omelettes in particular were cooked to perfection & delicious!! We checked out the pool area but didn’t really have time to use it as we were in Doha for the weekend of Grand Prix! And on our free days went to see The Corniche, Souk Waqif & Lusail areas, using the Metro (& trams in Lusail). Hotel was close to the Hamad Hospital Metro station which was fantastic for getting to & from Lusail QNB on the red line with Shuttle buses that took us to Lusail Circuit. Would stay again & recommend especially if attending Qatar Grand Prix.

It would have been good to have had the room with all correct items on arrival - considering that it was 28th when we checked in (booked room for 27th as it was a late flight arrival) & so there should have been enough time to get room ready - had no bathmat, 1 hand towel, no facecloths, 1 pair of slippers & no bathrobes. However, when room had been cleaned later on 28th, we had to ask for hand towels (none at all but got a bath mat) & asked for bathrobes too! Which kindly all were brought within 5 minutes of calling! Didn’t ask for more slippers, hangers or face cloths but sure they’d have been brought. The hotel was having refurbishment on the 2nd floor (where pool was situated) & good to see hotel trying to keep up standards.

I recently stayed at the Grand Regency Hotel in Doha, and I just want to say how impressed I was with the incredible service provided by the staff. Every single worker was not only helpful but also an absolute delight to interact with. They truly made our stay special. I was visiting with my 1-year-old son, who is very social, and I was touched by how everyone, including the guests, took time to play with him and make him feel welcome. It made our experience that much more memorable. Shoutout to Victor from Kenya and a few others. Y’all the real MVPs. Thank you to the entire team for your warmth and hospitality!

While I had a great experience at the Grand Regency Hotel in Doha, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The shower only had an overhead option and a down tap, which made it a bit tricky, especially when showering my young son. A hand shower would have been much more convenient. Also, the beds, though comfortable, were a little too narrow for my liking. But if you don't mind the size, the comfort was definitely there. Thank you again to the amazing staff for making our stay pleasant!

- Amazing staff, super friendly and welcoming. I did require support as the mini fridge was not working, and they promptly requested engineering support, and the issue was fixed in no time! - Breakfast was really good, plenty of options available (fruits, cheese, western, local, nice coffee) - Bed was comfortable overall, room a bit outdated but no complains. - 5 min walk to metro station (Hamad Hospital), super easy and convenient to commute.

- I could not control the A/C temperature, controls were not responding. As it was quite cold weather during the weekend, I simply turned it off and it was good as it was (I did not complain to staff, otherwise I assume they would provide a good support if needed). - Facilities overall a bit outdated, but it was not the focus of my trip to use the pool or gym (running outdoors preferred) - Shower was not strong and the hot water sometimes was just not hot at all.

Overall great place to stay and great value for money as well. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Couldn't fault anything at all. Overall I would highly recommend staying there and will come again if needed. They went out of the way to arrange a breakfast at 3am on the day we were leaving. Absolutely lovely.

I think the rooms could have a bar with drinks but as I don't use myself I wouldn't call it significant. Fridge was there and bottles of water were provided too. Location wasn't great but commute isn't much of a problem with a nearby merto station and taxi not very expensive.

Overall the hotel was excellent for the price point. The staff were all amazing. The porter on the day shift was always friendly and positive and our waiter at breakfast was also really helpful and friendly. Our room was very big and had everything we needed. Even though we were facing the main road we could not hear the traffic in the room, which we were a bit concerned about. Being on the 5th floor may have helped with this. The pool area is quite small and does not get the sun on the side of the sun beds, which meant we had to go out to the beach daily. We did enjoy the variety this offered us and tried different beaches and hotel day passes. The breakfast was not great and lacked freshness. This was mainly due to ramadan and the hotel being quite quiet. It would have been better if they served a fresh breakfast based on individual requirements during this period. It would save on wastage and provide a fresher breakfast. The selection was ok but by the time we arrived it had been out for a few hours. The juice was also more like cordial than juice. We would definitely recommend this hotel based on cost, service and the size and comfort the room offered.

Breakfast could have been fresher and it was a shame that the pool area did not get the sun in the right area.

All the staff were superb. Very welcoming and always there to help. A special mention for the reception staff and in particular, Christina who was exceptional in dealing with our needs. Lovely hotel lobby decor. Great breakfast choice, excellent Omlettes!

Our bathroom needed upgrading asap. No extraction fan working either, which meant bad condensation after bath or shower. One evening, being woken by children at 2 am running down the corridor and at the same time parents talking loudly when others trying to sleep.

The hotel is excellent, with the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna all in perfect working condition. Unfortunately, the steam room was out of service during my stay. The staff, especially Ms. Nermin, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The reception team was also very accommodating. When I had an issue with the AC in my room, they promptly moved me to a better suite. The valet service was efficient, although there were challenges managing the large number of guests during Eid. Also, the breakfast was very good. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at the hotel.

I believe the hotel is in need of some maintenance work.
