* Location was v convenient, close to shopping malls and could always find a reasonably priced food store v close nearby even ~12am or ~5am * Cheapest room/hotel in Orchard Rd * Generally clean and homely. No sign or smell of cockroaches (or baby cockroaches), unlike many hotels/hostels/motels. Someone washed the kettle. Cups were patterned mugs, not glass or plastic tumblers. Fridge was cold and running. No damage visible on any furniture. * Very very quiet with one exception * 24/7 check-in was possibly a life-saver and pleasant surprise. This amazing feature wasn't listed or advertised on the website, only that check-in is after 3pm. * Interesting artwork * A "Kyoya Ootori"-like night receptionist was present at the desk when I arrived very worn down and delayed by 4-5 hrs, afraid of having to sleep outside that night bc of a missed check-in. He had a no-frills approach in lowering expectations so I ended up being pleasantly surprised when I got to the room. "This is a *budget hotel*, no toiletries, no towels, no breakfast etc." But there were 2-3 towels and toilet paper. I wasn't expecting breakfast so that was ok. Later I found out through online reviews that he had learnt the phrase "budget hotel" from one of the senior elderly receptionists in response to a guest's complaints a few years ago. That was cute. * Elderly staff offered to charge my phone behind their desk when I already checked out and lobby outlets weren't working. They refused a tip. Friendly, great to chat with, accommodating. * Booking.com said I made an additional request regarding bedding but I didn't. Anyways, the bed was amazingly soft yet supportive. I thought the mattress felt like down, which beats anything I can remember using. Not a crumb of dirt or sand on the bedsheet. After the trip I saw one online review sometime ago regarding hardness of the bed...

* House of Condoms brothel(?) nearby...some sketchy male characters might hang around the street corner at night * Some ants in the morning, but they stayed in the toilet/bathroom even with cake present on the table * Couldn't open window, which had some algae either growing on the outside or inside (but it's ok it's algae not mould). In the morning could smell some smoke from a bathroom vent or some other location in the room...if standing directly in the A/C and wearing a mask it wasn't so bad. * Cannot lock door from inside but it didn't feel like a concern then with such tight surveillance in the corridors and a chain latch.

We like the atmosphere of this hotel. The staffs are very accommodating. I will recommend this hotel for travelers who needs cheap but pleasant place to stay. You just need to bring your own drinking water, 3 in 1 coffee (electric kettle and small ref are provided), soap and shampoo. There is a 7-11 store nearby (about 5mins walk). It is also very near (walking distance) to Plaza Singapura and Orchard.

We were not able to use the tv as there is no channel or cable, but since the wifi is good enough, problem solved :D The mattress and pillow covers and some of the towels are quite old but still serves their purpose. If you are choosy just bring your own towel. There's also a weighing scale at the lobby if you need to weigh your baggage before going to the airport, just need 20 cent coin for it to function.

Budget Friendly and staff are nice. Near to the shopping mall and food restaurant. The reason why we always choose this hotel

For what you pay for, it's really close to the city centre (Orchard Rd) and it's very convenient. The room is large but there are no "extras". This is hotel you go to to just sleep because you're out and about all day. There is no soap, so bring your own or buy it!

Wish the aircon was a bit more powerful. After spending the day in 34 degree Singapore, would have liked to come back to some coldness!

Location is the best, room facility is acceptable for the price that you got, I just expect simple accomodation with private bathroom. This hotel can give me what i expected for with good budget price. Check in-out process is smooth, can get a good sleep at night. Good free wifi connection in the room. Budget room will have no TV - Coffee/ Tea/ Water as informed. Room cleanning service for every 2 days. Have Laundry shop near by, 1 round of washing cost you around 15 SGD (Wash & Dry) Got iron facility for you to use at Level 4 Easy to travel around - the nearest MRT is Somerset MRT

Cleanliness maybe the weak point here. Clearly can see a lots of dust at the vent in the toilet. No parking for taxi, they will drop you from behind and you have to walk to the front. Walking up to hotel with 5-6 steps of Staircase - not convinient if you have a big lugguage.

the room is spaciest and clean despite the light deem and old ness of the facilities, the staff is warm and room is clean. with the price provided, can’t find any room bigger and spaciest than this in Singapore. location very good, near to somerset and dhoby ghout MRT station. near to all the malls in orchard road. I would like to come back here to stay again if I ever visited Singapore.

the light are deem, facilities a bit too old the sound proof is a bit poor if your room is facing the road behind, the car sound will wake u wake at 4-5am, if u are a light sleeper

They could’ve touch up the building a little bit. I know it’s old building but maybe a little upgrade. The Ventilator's, window, carpet needs cleaning.

We are a group of 4 people - very spacious - cheap - walking distance to MRT, shopping outlets, malls and food centers - has towels, hot shower, electric kettle and refrigerator -free wifi

- could have been better if there's free drinking water to refill our bottles to lessen our expenses - no toilet bidet - no free toiletries and slippers - the outlets are very few good thing we thought of bringing an extension cord - no free breakfast - TV not working BUT despite these negative the place is good for those who barely stay in the hotel and prefers to maximize your day outside

This hotel is one of the oldest in Singapore, however, if one is not looking for modern convenience and it is just a one night stay, Hotel Supreme is just right. It is clean, has warm water. Staff is also friendly.

It was just inconvenient that the taxi we took from the airport refused to drop us in front of the hotel saying it is a one way road, forcing us to drop at the street at the back of the hotel at ten pm.

The price is cheap with the location near orchard road. Got near bus stop which easy to go to anywhere. Also got mamak nearby 24hrs just in case you hungry at midnight. The hotel is basic. No mineral or coffee and also shampoo, soap but thats fine cause already read the review before i come. So i brought one. Btw this hotel got bath tub. Very recommended to stay here! Overall i choose this place cause near orchard road which is veryyy worth it.
