The hotel was in a great location in Singapore. The staff were lovely and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

We knew the property only offered vouchers for breakfast in a local cafe, which we didn’t mind. On the first morning we ordered a coffee, tea and 2 croissants. Next day, same drinks, a croissant and had yogurt which ending up costing $20? Final day we had exactly the same as the first, and ended up having to pay $5. I think they need to be clearer on what’s included and ensure the cafe understands as well, as we were a bit disappointed with this.

The room was ready for us for an early check in at no extra cost. Bed very comfortable. Rain shower great. The open air shower was lovely. The room was compact but cleverly fitted out so it didn't feel cramped. The hotel stored our bags when we checked out and when we returned to collect them some hours later we were offered the use of shower facilities. While we were close to Orchard Road, the location was quiet.

I am a tea drinker and would have appreciated some fresh milk as coffee mate just doesn't go with English Breakfast tea.

A lovely boutique hotel in a great location--it's 5 minutes from Orchard Road, and if you are into that sort of thing, just about right next door to 38 Oxley Road. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint even though so close to the heart of the shopping district. We had a two story room with the bedroom upstairs, and a outside bathroom (don't worry, it's properly sheltered/shielded). It's all low rise, so don't expect an expansive city view. There's a small pool as well. There's no room service, but plenty of food is within a few minutes' walk--Killiney Kopitiam (the hotel included breakfast vouchers that can be used there), Orh-Kee Noodles, Jew Kit Chicken Rice, Da Shi Jia Big Prawn Mee, etc. The staff is friendly and competent.

Nothing really stands out as something that we didn't like so the following will feel slightly nit-picky. First, the outside bathroom takes a moment to get use to, but one does get use to it. Second, no onsite restaurant--but again, plenty of options just round the corner. Third, the Mrs didn't like the exposed staircase just above the sink (there was a small sign asking us to be careful), worrying that we will knock our heads into it--that didn't happen, of course. Fourth, if you are looking for a "view", then this is the wrong place, since it's all low-rise. But none of these things really detracted from the excellent time we had.

Great location - short walks to Orchard & Dhoby Gaut MRT stations. Spacious ground floor room shared between mother & daughter. Nice outdoor bathroom. Cute little pool in a small but lovely green garden. Comfy bed. Enjoyed breakfast coupons at very popular local Killiney’s tea shop nearby. Thoughtful birthday card & dark chocolate bar for my daughter.

Not enough natural light on ground floor. smoke detector light shines brightly green above bed - a bit disruptive to falling asleep Very tiny bottle of complementary drinking water given. Nowhere to hang laundry or wet swimsuits.

Attentive front desk staff, whatever you need is available in the room, bed by the window is a PLUS. We stayed 7d6n here and absolutely love the location and hotel. Apprehensive at first when I see the outdoor bath, because in the tropics gecko are very common. I have fear of gecko and this property managed to keep them all out from the rooms and shower.

Perhaps some sort of rubber on the glass door of the bathroom can be installed to keep a/c in the room or an additional magnet etc installed to keep door air tight. Bathroom door has gaps and a/c escaped, not energy efficient, we turned to 16 deg c and the room was still warm. The gaps also allowed millipedes to crawl all over the room floor. We aren’t afraid of the millipedes so it was ok but others may mind.

Very convenient location and well appointed room. The outside pool was very much appreciated. The staff were particularly helpful, booking taxis and tickets to local attractions

We were disappointed with the breakfasts that were included in the room price. We didn't mind walking down the road to a cafe to have our meal, but didn't consider a coffee and a cabinet pastry to be good value.

The room was minimalistic and quirky with comfortable beds and pillows. Nice, quiet neighbourhood. Loved going to ABC Cafe' for breakfast - great coffee and pastries. Good location, several MRT and bus stops within walking distance. Nice grounds and pool. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Good that there was tea making facilities, fridge and safe in the room. Ample storage space too. Netflix was a bonus. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

The door to the outdoor shower didn't always close properly, so it sometimes felt a little bit damp in the room.. Also, we were on quite a shady side of the hotel, so our outdoor space was almost always wet (but we did have quite a bit of rain the week we were there)..

The room was very comfortable, especially after a long hot day in Singapore. The AirCon was nice and cool. I love the desperation between the WC and the room. It created the special feeling of the nature within the urban context. Also, I like the idea of the shower facilities after check out. the breakfast nearby was good as well.

the hairdryer can improve… it was very weak…

We loved the staff. We enjoyed having our evening meals with the lovely staff at Fook In Kiliney Road.

The beds were not easy!! We didn't use our vouchers for breakfast because the restaurant was always busy - no seats

Room had everything we expected and more. Appreciated that the Inn is trying to offer environmentally friendly options. We needed to leave for the airport before the breakfast place opened. So we picked up dinner instead and were credited the amount of the breakfast vouchers.

It was raining buckets while we stayed in Singapore and the water made quite a noise hitting the chairs and table outside. We also needed to have the air conditioner on for dehumidifying (I generally prefer not to use a/c if possible)
