It is a good place to stay if you are looking for a more budget-friendly place to stay in Singapore. The room was simple but clean, everything was working in order. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is a little far from the metro station, but it has a bus stop right on the corner, so no problem in getting where you need to go. The neighborhood has several shops and restaurants that are open until later in the night, so it is safe to walk around and there in case you need to bite to eat. If you are worried about it being at the red-light district, don't be. First, soliciting is illegal so none of the girls or the guys in front of the motels will approach you. Second, the hotel is right at the start of the neighborhood, and most of the "action" happens deeper inside. So, as long as you don't go looking for it you won't even notice.

No mini fridge in the room. I paid more for the room with a window since I like to let fresh air in, but it doesn't open.

This is my second time booking here and the place did not disappoint. The location is near a lot of good restaurants. It is also near Singapore National Stadium which is the main reason of our trip. Like before, towels were replaced with new ones everyday. Toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, tissues, shower gel and shampoo were available except for the hand soap near the bathroom sink. Bidet is also available! Coffee, sugar and creamer were also provided, including cups and electric kettle. During our first day, my friend was supposed to drink her daily dose of coffee but the socket overheat when she plugged the kettle and we were no longer able to use the socket. Upon reporting it to the front desk, they fixed it immediately and was able to use it again when we returned. We also have our room cleaned everyday with no additional fee.

The number of sockets are very limited. Three people were occupying the room and the sockets were also three. We also needed to look for the other one which was inside the closet on the lowest partition 😅

The place is near a lot of food places and we love the different varieties of food available around the area. The room is spacious enough just for sleeping and towels were changed frequently. Bed and toilet is clean enough. Although there are some hair on the sink and bed when we first checked in. You can definitely leave your bags at the reception if you arrive earlier. There is a front desk person 24/7. Staff is friendly. You have to request for an iron from the front desk and give back if you want to use. Laundry is not available but they recommended one nearby, at the back street. $4 for wash and $1 for 6min for dryer. If you want to ride the bus going to the MRT, ride either Bus 21 or 26 going to Kallang MRT. If coming from the city to hotel, go down at Aljunied MRT and ride bus 80 or 100. This was suggested by the front desk as well. They are helpful with directions.

I was expecting a table in front of the TV. But it only had a dresser table and we found that it’s not enough for our things. Some of our stuff were laid down on the floor because of not having enough table space. The hangers in the wardrobe were fixed (can’t get them put). Love that there was a bidet in the toilet, however no trash can in the toilet. We had to keep moving the trash can from the bedroom to toilet every time they clean our room because they kept putting it back to the bedroom.

This is my 2nd stay with Ibis budget . Last time I stayed in the same location with Ibis budget Ametrine which is just opposite this Property , This time I chose this. Nothing much of a difference as that's the best part of Ibis that the predictability in terms of the rooms & standards are the same as you get every time & in every Property . Train station is a 10 mins walk from this place , eateries , shopping is nearby . Good to stay when you are solo or with a partner. Rooms are smaller & that's the sad part that Singapore is so expensive that you will have to think before you book any hotel & Ibis budget will turnout to be the cheapest when we start making the comparison . The hotel provides enough facilities especially for the tourists like us. Rooms are comfortable. Many food stores around with many varieties. A 7 Eleven store is few meters away which is opened for 24 hours. More importantly the wash rooms provide bidet showers. Enough space to keep the luggage. Rooms are calm, quiet and clean. Bus stop is so close when you leave from the hotel.

Rooms are small in size and its not comfortable if you plan to stay long hours inside the room. You can keep the luggage in hotel lobby after checking out (If you have to wait for your flights). Hotel provides the washroom facility in the lobby but no way to get a wash if there is a need. You have to walk about 400+ meters after getting down from the bus when you are coming back to the hotel. Bath mats are not provided. No refrigerator provided in the room.

We were told that the hotel is in the red light district. I was surprised at first but it did not bother us at all as we saw other families in the property. In fact, I was glad to be staying in a hotel near shops and restaurants. A bust stop is just a few steps away. The staff were really nice, very helpful and cheerful.

A pair of indoor slippers would have been nicer than walking barefoot on a cold floor. Other than that, I would be happy to stay there again.

For 2* hotel it has everything we needed :) Go for it! Everything was easy: to find the hotel, to check-in (room was ready an hour earlier thanks to which I no longer had to sleep sitting in the lobby 😅), to drink the tap water(while having sensitive stomach), to find the metro, bus stop, something fancy and less fancy to eat. Bed was comfortable I couldn't really recognize that we are in the red lantern district.

One thing that perhaps could be improved: having a water squeegee in the bathroom would make life so much better after the shower. Otherwise anything you needed to do in the bathroom after shower felt like tapping in a pond.

The room is very clean and just the right size for 3 pax, has space for our luggage, has a dresser that can also be used as a table for your laptop, it has plenty of storage for your things/stuffs. The beds are very comfortable. The room has a hair blower, electric kettle, coffee, cream, sugar, tea, coffee mug & coffee stirrer. TV is working.

There is one staff member that is not approachable and a little grumpy (he's old) but the other staff are very welcoming and easy to talk to. The room has no bidet in the toilet, that's the one thing I wish they provided in the room, because I'm not used to using tissues only. And also the location is far from the tourist spots, and a little far from the MRT Station, its a long walk when we come back to the hotel. Other than that everything is perfect.

Have flown into Singapore on transit four times in the last 12 months. This was the first time I went with a 'budget' option not in the Marina district. Price wasn't necessarily much cheaper, more had to settle due to availability. The hotel is located in the heart of the red light district but you wouldn't know if you didn't know. Close to cheap food and relatively close to the airport. Rooms as presented, small and functional. The bed has hands down the most comfortable mattress I've slept on throughout my previous week trip through Europe.

There is 1 universal PowerPoint in the entire room and 1 Singaporean. Bit disappointing considering most people have at least two devices to charge at any given time, let alone a couple travelling together.

The rooms were neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was good. However please note the size of the rooms are small keeping with the budget concept of the place. The Tap water is drinkable. However there is no bar fridge. The location is accessible to all transportation. The MRT stations are nearby but require a small walk of around 10 minutes. Lots of small shops and a 7/11 to cater to your daily needs. There is a 24 hour eating joint bang in front, however food quality there is ok. Please note the area around the Hotel is a little dinky but very safe. If your travel requirements are just a comfortable bed and a safe place for your luggage and you intend to be out the entire day then this is for you. Resort and Spa it is not.

Actually nothing other than maybe the size of the bath. Some rooms have big ones and some have just a closet.
