The location of this hotel was ideal for what we needed it for. Access into Old Town was less than 1minute on foot. It wasn't far to walk for the fountains, palace of parliament and other local attractions. For the attractions slightly further away there was convenient and affordable transport accessible. We used the 100 bus from and to the airport, we used stop 'December 21 1989', which was conveniently located 5min walk to/from the hotel and cheap tickets. We then used Uber for a taxi to the Therme Spa which was reasonably priced around £15 for a 30min journey. The local taxi's have been known to stitch people up and being expensive. Our room at the hotel, although not overly big, was find for just the 2 of us. We didn't spend much time there and only needed it for 2 nights. Bed was very comfy. Cleanliness was good. Shower in the bathroom was lovely. And we had a balcony to enjoy during our stay. Staff were friendly and informative. There are free lockers to use for your luggage on the day you leave, once you check out of your room. This was really helpful as our flight wasn't until the evening and we wanted to walk round old town without lugging our bags with us. Although the nightlife in old town runs until the early hours, you weren't bothered by it once you were back in your room. The noise was to a minimum especially once the window was closed. With my partner being a light sleeper, even she wasn't troubled by it.

Breakfast was nice but we feel it was quite expensive for what you got. Granted there was a lot of options but for us personally, we didn't feel like we had our monies worth. I'm sure others would disagree but I personally wouldn't have breakfast included next time and would go out instead.

A funky hotel, with great vibes, great location, friendly staff, clean rooms and affordable bar prices, what more could you ask for?

Not much, only negative i can say and this is nit picking. Breakfast could have some more variety.

Front desk personnel was very helpful, location is perfect, clean room with great blackout curtains.

The hotel falls shorts when it comes to the breakfast. Having the breakfast in the small reception area is not pleasant. You keep bumping at people when grabbing food. Watch out for really loud music coming from a club located in the courtyard area. If you are staying there during the weekend and there's loud music coming from the courtyard, go to the reception desk immediately and ask to change your room. The music wont stop before 3am and believe me, it is really loud. Kudos to the reception desk that changed our room right away.

In general it’s a very nice hotel and usually if you stay here you feel pretty comfortable. The room is nice - big bed and big tv, bathroom is pleasant, shower gels are there, hair wash cosmetics, hair dryer, soft towels. Note: in the small room you don’t have wardrobe (only hangers on the wall) and safe, which is for me important. I don’t know if it is in another rooms. Everything is clean , the facilities are good, the stuff is pleasant. On the reception there’s a lounge zone with a bar, lockers for suitcases, I even saw fitness room. Breakfast is also pretty nice - not very big, but you will have the main breakfast dishes there. The location is just great, you have everything around you - old town and city center, with nice cafes and supermarkets. My stay was as usually good, but this time there were little things annoying, mentioned below.

The bedsheets were hard and smelled like cleaned too many times. The blanket was too thin. The air conditioner was loud and intense at night, even though I put the lowest power. I also couldn’t find the right temperature. It was or cold, or hot. The screen of airconditioner was very bright in “off” mode. The stuff said I should have better approached them at night though.

Exactly what I expected and would expect from a Moxy hotel. Fun and vibrant downstairs that is perfect for work with a great vibe. Directly next to the Old Town, with many bars, restaurants, etc. nearby. We got it at a great price, but may be a bit overpriced for Bucharest depending on when you book because we looked for a second stay and it was quite a bit more expensive. However, if you are staying in Bucharest for the first time this is exactly the area you would want to stay. Fun vibe and atmosphere and very helpful staff.

No electric kettle for coffee in the room, which is a bit unusual here. Bar is marginally overpriced but you are staying in a brand hotel in the middle of the tourist area so to be expected. Everything was perfect and matched expectations.

Extremely well situated hotel, very close to the Old Town. The rooms are confortable and clean : it's cleaned everyday. The bathroom and the TV are functional. The ambiance is very fun and the staff is extremely helpful. A great place to stay for a moderate price.

On the minus side, the breakfast is too expensive for what it is. At that price, have your breakfast a few meters away, anywhere in Old Town. Definitely not worth it at that price range. The lobby would be a great place to hang around, work and relax (there are tables, plugs, a bar, etc) if there wasn't music blasting out 24 hours long. The loud party music during breakfast at 8 o"clock in the morning was a little irritating.

The breakfast was a standard buffet service with standard offerings. The location is excellent close to the old town-bars and restaraunts etc and pick up points for tours. The bed is comfortable with a modern interior in the rooms. I didnt use gym/spa so I cant comment on those. The location was the seller for me.

The rooms have no closets only a hook on the wall with 3 hangers provided. There is no safe in the rooms. To be fair this was not listed in the room amenities on booking.com. The breakfast was a standard fare with less options than I got in similar level hotels for less money. Overall I paid more for the location that the services provided. Overall the Moxy is a good standard hotel, clean modern but the standard can be had for lower price elsewhere.

Excellent stay at The Moxy Bucharest! The hotel was bright and trendy, very clean and set in fabulous location and near to night life, restaurants, bars etc! Checkin was quick, and staff we met are all so friendly. Room was lovely, nice and quiet and bed was sooo comfy! Good size bathroom and powerful shower with quality toiletries, there is also a hairdryer. Breakfast was nice with lots of choice, so something for everyone. Bar staff were great, we had a night cap each night on returning to hotel… a lovely way to finish the evening, and with reasonably priced drinks. On our last night we watched them making cocktails for a large group of people… so thought, why not? Also indulged in the local spirit, which near blew our heads off and probably a big mistake with early flight next morning… but a lovely experience and so much fun at the time… we loved it! We stayed in December for the Christmas market, which was just a short walk away and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We loved Bucharest, loved The Moxy and would highly recommend!

My only issue is storage in room… not much hanging / drawers for clothes, but we were only there for a weekend so it was fine for us.

A great hotel, located in the old city, close to the university area and piata uniri so it was very convenient to get around. It's fun to go out in the evening to all the nearby bars within walking distance. The room we stayed in was spacious, cozy and clean. I would like to mention Johnny from the reception who was welcoming, kind and without a doubt made our experience at the hotel much better. In addition, on the day we arrived, there were two other lovely guys with him who also brightened our faces and I didn't ask their names (so thanks to them too!). Without a doubt this will be the hotel we return to next time in Bucharest! A huge bonus is that the 100 line from the airport comes very close to the hotel so this was very convenient for us!

NOTHING! It was perfect :)
