Very comfortable accommodation at this price point, ear plugs provided but not required as it was quiet enough not to be disturbed despite the clubs nearby open very late. Good location just off the main pedestrian street filled with many restaurants. Nespresso machine and other little extras appreciated

There is no lift which is understandable in an old building however 25 stairs to each level which are narrow and steep. Very difficult if travelling with a very heavy large suitcase. The air conditioner worked intermittently, may be user error! As the windows needed to be closed due to outside noise the room was very warm. The pedestrian street the hotel is on is run down with derelict buildings although I did not experience any unsavouriness.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, especially thanks to its fantastic location in the heart of the Old Town. It’s close to many attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it an excellent choice for anyone wanting to explore the area on foot. One of the features was the self-check-in process. We received a code in advance, allowing us to check in at any time, which was super convenient as we arrived around midnight. Despite being in a lively area, the room was well-insulated from outside noise, and for extra comfort, earplugs were thoughtfully provided.

The room was as described, spacious, clean and in a great location. The building itself seems to be newly refurbished and well taken care of. The self check-in was straightforward with the activation code sent in the booking details. Keep in mind that since there is no one at the reception and it is an automatised process, if you arrive earlier you will need to let the hotel know or wait until the mentioned time.

the wifi wasn't working well and since I needed to work form a distance that was a little complicated but for someone who just needs it for quick checks between visits it should be enough

Stil Old Town is a fantastic place to stay in Bucharest. It is right in the middle of the Old Town, with bars and restaurants literally right outside your door! The room is super clean and spacious, with a great bathroom/shower area. Checking in is easy, and the staff were available by phone if needed. Considering the extremely reasonable price, I would definitely stay here again if coming back to Bucharest!

Being in the Old Town means that it can be loud late into the night, but the property does provide earplugs! Something to bear in mind if travelling as a family though.

I loved that the property was very central and near restaurants, bars, clubs but also the bus from the airport (100) stops close by at Piata Unirii. For us it was easy to find and access. I was expecting it to be a hotel with reception but it's not ( probably not enough research on my part) you will need codes to get into the building and room. I wasn't aware of this as I hadn't been sent any codes, but the issue was resolved very quickly. I would look into this ahead of time though if you are arriving late, as I had to call them but it was afternoon so someone picked up immediately.

Rooms were warm and comfortable. The room was clean on arrival and had the facilities required.

As the property is totally self service it would have been nice to have a human touch in order to ask questions. We arrived during heavy snow and on our second morning the snow outside was very high. Other properties had been cleared but as it is self service we had to climb through knee high snow.

Great location, I’d read the noise reviews but honestly wasn’t an issue and the balcony door was open most of the night. So much space, really comfortable bed.

Oh gosh the stairs…because I’m unfit but honestly you’re not running up and down them 50 times a day so it’s really not that much of an issue unless you are not able to climb stairs then you 100% avoid. We stayed on the top floor and 8 times over 2 days was definitely enough steps. It’s in an authentic old building in an old town, it’s beautiful place.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of the Old Town in Bucharest and I must say I had a wonderful experience. The room was beautifully decorated with a romantic touch, featuring a bathtub in the middle of the room. It looked exactly like the pictures, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the room. The staff was quick to respond to phone calls and were very helpful in providing guidance and assistance. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and romantic getaway in Bucharest.

Great location, super clean, easy access with door code, big room and all of that for a good price! Plus, a Nespresso machine in the room.

I didn't mind any of that personally, but be aware there is no one at the desk and that there is no elevator. My room was on the fourth floor, it was good since I travel with a backpack, but people travelling with rolling suitcases might find it difficult. Also, directly in the old town, so expect some noise late in the night.
