We had to stay for two nights after our flight was canceled. The hotel staff were great, breakfast was good, kids enjoyed the pool, fitness center was nice, and the rooms were clean.

The only issue we had was the hotel had no heat in any common areas like the hallways, lobby, restaurant and breakfast area. It was 15 degrees outside and you could see your breath in the hallways. You had to bundle up like you were going outside to sit at the restaurant and eat.

Great friendly and helpful staff! China was great both on the phone PRIOR to our arrival AND while there. Kenneth and Sandra were both very nice and helpful too. Nice waitstaff at breakfast in the mornings too. Definitely will be back at Hampton Inn!

Delayed on getting me extra towels and washcloths on 2 different days even when called ahead of stay to request them…but not a big deal comparably to all else being great.

Large room and restroom. Extremely clean. Close to airport. Loved the airport shuttle access. Nice staff.

Check-in was okay, despite the fact I was never told I was being charged a deposit on top of the room charge before my card was run. It wasn't an issue, but it would've been nice to know in advance. Went to ask the front desk for a toothbrush, but they were all out even though it's listed all over the room that they had them available. Breakfast was very limited and looked mediocre.

The staff was polite and very accommodating. Breakfast is very good. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will be definitely coming back. The shuttle service to and from the airport was timely and efficient.

Wonderful staff, incredibly convenient shuttle, lovely rooms and breakfast. There is a pool across the street that was very refreshing after a long flight.

The price was a little expensive for my tastes, but it is New York and I did book last minute (flight cancellation). Also, the coffee maker in the room was confusing.

Awesome room location! Top floor with view of Manhattan (lower to upper), LaGuardia Airport across the streets, George Washington Bridge in the distance and the immediate neighborhood below. Very cool to see airplanes coming in for landing so close it totally took me by surprise.

The lovely young lady at check-in (about 8:30 PM) was a breath of fresh air for us tired travelers. Everything worked as stated and expected. We appreciate the continuous coffee service and the airport shuttle (the driver was friendly and helpful as well).

The hotel was super clean and the staff was welcoming. The property could use a refresh for decor and furniture in the room. The sound of airplanes was substantially reduced and muffled, but not soundproof.

I like the breakfast, wish I was able to order food directly from hotel instead of outside/deliver. One of the guys at front desk called me a taxi not knowing at the time he had placed a call for the most expensive. The trip for a regular taxi costed me $25 and the taxi he called wanted to charge me $45.

Not to over charge me because I was from out of state. That taxi driver lost my business.

This one's a comparison, the room is spacious compared to the hotel by the name Lagaurdia(a sister hotel of theirs - uses same airport shuttle). The beds were big, happy for that for a family sharing the room. And the staff too were laid back and were assistive.

Vending machines could be upgraded, some of them didn't work. Not many quick snack options(not stocked) for a stay that's nearby airport and only good for ordering food.

The proper was literally across from the airport. Also very quiet located in a nice neighborhood. The served the most delicious breakfast in the morning… parking cost was approximately $10 a night .

I think that they don’t have enough staff available.
