Great location. I have stayed here a few times over the last 10 years and watched it grow into a cash cow with something for everyone. Pool is clean and inviting. Tiki restaurant rocks. Great view from every room overlooking the channel and bay. I will be back. :)

Its was relaxing. Service was good at Tiki. We enjoyed our stay. The lovely lady that services the breakfast is a delight. The young ladies at the front desk were also very nice. The property had everything we needed for a relaxing family weekend.

King suite probably should have some staples. Plates, Napkins or maybe coffee cups. There were only 2 cups left in room for a room that sleeps 6-8 ppl. Also only flavored coffee was left in room. The staircase leading up to the suite was filthy. The patio outside the suites needed to be hosed off. The public restroom outside was filthy also. Room keys kept getting inactivated. I think the front desk staff needs more training on that. Everytime we went to reactivate a key it disabled all the others. So that was a bit of a pain.

Loved the room, it was small but clean and comfortable. The room had a water view, which was nice, but no shears, just room darkening shades. After a couple of days we realized that the outside of the windows had a mirrored finish so during the day you could not see in from the outside, but in the evenings, you had to put the shades down, so no view. When we arrived (on a Sunday) the resort was packed. There is a huge Tiki bar and music and it appeared from the crowds of people, the place to be for weekends. It is only this way on weekends, the rest of the week it was quiet. The pool area was nice, but the pool lounges were hard plastic and not very comfortable.

The bathroom was updated and nice, but small and it had a pedestal sink. There was a glass shelf above the sink but very little room for bathroom supplies. The bathroom door had fixed louvers, so not much privacy regarding sounds and smells. The provided bath towels were small and thin and wash cloths were very thin and rough, no hand towels provided. We paid extra for the daily breakfast, but it was not great. After one day, we went out for breakfast the rest of the week.

We have been coming to Gilbert's for over 20 + years and it is always a great atmosphere we love it there. This is the first time we rented for the weekend and let me tell you it was a great experience. We were celebrating our anniversary. Yoli at front desk was exceptional with check in and answered our question very professional. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and the rooms very clean and all around a great experience. We got a cabana and wow what peace and tranquility I forgot we were in the keys. You get the best of both worlds because they have live music on the weekends so you can rock the night away and then enjoy the next day peacefully

All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The upper floor TV was not always working. Not really there to watch TV so it was fine.

The location, the Tiki bar, Music, food , drink , the beach and facilities.

Location is excellent. Staff at the front desk and the main outside area where the bands play were very courteous. Beautiful views on the beach. Nice outside sitting area from your room.

Our room which was a suppose to have a view of the water was blocked by a big 70 ft yacht dock right in front of us. Chairs in the main eating area where the music is were very uncomfortable. Also the bars down by the beach were playing obnoxious music during the day using explicit language while there was little kids all around.

The friendliness of the staff, how beautiful the scenery and landscape of the property, the live music was fantastic, food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. Access to kayaks, boat tours and beach cabanas was also great. We loved it and plan to go back.

No organic offerings, or non-GMO or non-processed food offerings for the breakfast. Hot water supply was erratic in bathroom. shower water temperature was hard to control, going from very cold to very hot.

I loved the location, right next to the water, and my room was a double queen, excellent views and super clean, and bed was extremely comfortable. Front desk ladies were fantastic! Parking situation is interesting but not terrible, it gets pretty packed as most people don't stay at the resort.

Only the price I paid, but was mostly my fault as I booked too late, the price was 350+ for a smaller apartment, which normally is less. But I cannot complain about that. Next time I will book weeks in advance!

We love Gilberts and we go very often. However, it was our first time staying overnight and we loved it. We did have an issue with our boat as we docked it overnight at Gilberts and after heavy rain storms our boat had a malfunction and it literally sunk :( Carlos the manager was a lifesaver and so amazing. My boss came out with some friends on a boat to help us pull out boat out of water and Carlos volunteered to help right away being a huge part of being able to save out boat. He was soooo helpful and attentive to our situation. The guys over at the marina across of Gilberts were also sooo amazing. I would never have enough words to describe how thankful we, my husband and I, are for Carlos and all the men who helped right away.

I would like to see lounge chairs guests can use to lay by the beach being that we cannot take our own chairs.
