Everything! We were pleasantly surprised by this property. The location was superb and we saw a very nice sunset right from the very picturesque pier that extended out to the water. The grounds were nicely manicured and there was even a nice bonsai garden. The swimming pool was awesome and very nicely done. We decided to upgrade our room to a King Superior (#22) which was also on the second floor and offered a view of the water as a result. We were blown away by this room as it was HUGE (over 700 sq. ft.) and also had a large screened-in porch. The owner, Linda, was very nice as was everyone working there that we encountered. Alisha at the front desk was awesome and very cheery and pleasant throughout our stay. The free use of kayaks was also a nice bonus even though we didn't get a chance to use them. The free roaming Iguanas also added a nice tropical touch and were fun to watch!

The appearance of the front entrance was a bit of a turn-off when we first arrived in the parking lot but our view quickly changed once we went to the back of the property and saw how beautiful it was. They are also in the process of fully renovating several rooms and I'm sure that the front entrance will be included as well at some point. Other than that, I can't think of anything that we didn't like.

We stayed in the Beach Villa. It was just as described, I wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it is only a 2 star, but my family of 4 had a very comfortable stay. There were 2 air con units one in the bedroom and another in the lounge. A fridge freezer which meant we could stock up at the supermarket for drinks and icecreams. We didn't use the cooking facilities though but they looked fine. The sea water at the end of July is like having a warm bath. It was lovely to swim in and so we didn't use the pool.There are 4/5 kayaks to borrow which you can book for an hour slot and they lend you the bounancy aids too.The rails around the villas veranda made it easy to dry towels and swimwear. There are sun loungers to use on the grass area next to the beach although we didn't manage more than 10 minutes in the heat. The pontoon has a great view of the sunset and if lucky you can spot dolphins. We enjoyed seeing all the wild iguanas and lizards which are plentiful. During our stay we enjoyed a snorkeling and sandbar trip with clearly unique, key largo princess glass bottom boat trip, feeding the Tarpon at Robbie's of Islamorada. A private trip on the everglades with Miami Everglades connection.

Location was just across the street from the boatyard that we were doing business with. The sandy beach was small but there were plenty of lounge chairs. The bed was too hard for me, but many people like hard mattresses.

We found out after we checked in that we needed to stay in Key Largo another night but they told us our room would not be available, we would have to move to another room and pay more. As we had to move our stuff out, we checked into another resort just a few yards down the road which turned out to be even nicer and a better price. September is off season and there are lots of vacancies.

This stay was a last minute relocation to avoid hurt Milton in 2024. We had a large room with one wall of kitchen! First floor, overlooking the pool. We met so many displaced folks and everyone was super friendly. I would definitely consider this inn when “planning” a trip to the keys. Never forget the privately run inn’s of America! A super important travel option & this one is a winner!!

Tiny issue, my husband loves to fish. Dry tackle,catch & release I understand why fishing is not allowed at the beach. Just a tease for my husband.

Great location - straight across the road to a gem of a restaurant, straight across the road to a great coffee/breakfast shop & a 2 minutes walk to a service station which sold all essentials. Nice grounds with lovely outlook & jetties towards the ocean and sunset. Plenty sun loungers, picnic tables, chairs to enjoy the sunset. Clean secure fenced pool area. Kayaks and pedalo also available for guests to use free of charge. Beach towels provided.

Temperature of the pool was too warm for a refreshing dip, but I prefer colder water; We stayed on the ground floor and were awoken by guests rising early above us - we could hear them walking around - not sure that the property's claim of sound proofed rooms is accurate.

We were a little taken back by the proximity of the highway but our room was on beach side which was good. The room itself (our room) was in a motel style building., the shower was attractive, and the walls seemed freshly painted, but room would have benefited from a painting or print on the walls. It was a quiet place, with a nice little heated pool close by, attractive gardens, a little beach, and some nice seating by the water, and yes lovely sunsets. It's a nice option for a couple of days of sitting peacefully around absorbing a book and maybe some beverages. There is not much nearby but Ballyhoos across the road is a decent friendly restaurant (with great Key Lime pie!) and "One Grind" food truck over the road is a good Breakfast stop with 2 pleasant ladies... There is also a service station selling small items, fruit, snacks, beer, etc.

The walls would have been improved with an attractive print or painting. Just one clothes hanger also seems a little extreme. There is a coffee maker but only enough coffee for 2 cups but no tea. Little things can make a difference. It would not be hard to make a better impression.

The room we were in was exceptionally large, with separate areas for TV (with very comfortable chairs), King Bed and another room for reading. The beach is small but very private...and the bay entrance is easily walked into on a smooth sandy bottom. There are plenty of lounge chairs all over the large property and a BBQ area is also provided. As a point of interest there are many lguanas around that are fun to watch. And there are a number of restaurants very near by. All in all a great place to stay in Key Largo.

The pool is very warm. The panoramic view from the beach is absolutely incredible. There we always take photos, selfies and videos. The atmosphere in the place is calm and peaceful. The room that we get this time was the best. This is a place to enjoy and leisure. Whether with your partner as a romantic getaway, or with the whole family to have fun with your children.

The only thing we always regret is to not stay longer. We are really considering to make some deal to stay the whole month of December for Christmas and new year celebrations.

We were given a gift of an upgrade to the beach bungalow and it was so lovely. The room was well stocked and comfortable. Lots of light and good heating and cooling. The sunset was beautiful, we borrowed their kayak and took a sunset journey. From the water the sunset was perfect. Later we went to dinner at Snook's and it was delightful. We have stayed at this hotel many times and we will keep going back.

Everything was great.

The location, sunset views and gardens were simply lovely to relax in. We booked a cabin in the beachfront which was idyllic. Great air conditioning and good facilities in the room.

Nothing really. We had a great stay. Just watch out for the free kayaks: single orange kayak and the tandem kayak both have holes in the hull and become unstable as they fill with water. Fine for us but had to mention to a family who were taking a young child out on the water. They just need replacing.
