The airport shuttle was functioning very well and a definite plus. The person who checked us in was warm and welcoming. The bathroom in our room was clean and functional, beds were comfortable with clean sheets. Breakfast was better than expected. It was quiet enough to get much needed sleep.

Our room had a strong musty smell, probably from carpet badly in need of cleaning or replacing. The area didn’t seem like you could walk anywhere to eat.

One has to keep in mind that it is an airport hotel, not a destination one. It is not far from the airport and the hotel offers shuttle. On arrival we had to wait for more than 30 mins, but this was due to traffic. For departure one needs to book the shuttle in advance. There were too many people for our time slot and the hotel organized additional cab ride (for free). The staff was polite, professional and helpful. Hotel was clean and modern. At the reception one can buy basic necessities if needed. Hotel's neighbourhood is not really appealing. But we stayed only for one night. There are some fast-foods around. The rooms are reasonably quiet. Would stay in the hotel again if needed.

The room was fairly updated and clean . The complimentary breakfast was good and offers several options.

I was put on hold several times when I called about the shuttle upon my arrival . No one told me there was no shuttle, until I called a 3rd time after standing in the heat waiting for the shuttle that was not available . I did get a complimentary Lyft ride , but an email should have mentioned this . I did get an email before arrival , why not include that updated info instead of sending an automated email with instructions for getting the Shuttle when there was no shuttle .

· The hotel was conveniently located beside JFK, which was perfect for our needs. · The staff who checked us in at midnight was friendly. · Breakfast was simple but sufficient.

· I think that the floor area listed is square feet, not square meters. We booked this hotel because we thought we would have plenty of space, but it was quite cramped and difficult to open our suitcases. · Walls are quite thin, and at midnight I could hear people knocking loudly on the doors meant for the other room. · The elevators are also inconvenient when you have plenty of luggage. From reception, you have to take one elevator to go down to the basement, before you take another elevator to get to the rooms.

It was refreshing to see that the complementary breakfast offered healthy options including granola and a various selection of seeds that could be added alongside other continental options.

To arrange shuttle pick up on arrival from federal circle I was sent clear instructions via email. To arrange I needed to call the hotel, but unless you have a US mobile number this is very expensive to do as standard international call costs are typically not included in mobile plans, so if a cheaper option (e.g. instant messaging or WhatsApp calling, etc) is available or it’s communicated in advance the shuttle will be at federal circle at is particular time it would improve the convenience of this option.

I booked this hotel for me and my 5 year old, as our flight back home was canceled . The reviews were great , hence my booking. The shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and back is perfect, the staff is very helpful, the room was super clean, and so was the rest of the hotel. We had to leave the hotel by 6 am, but the breakfast was already ready at 5.45am, which allowed us to grab some food before heading to the airport.

This hotel thanks to their staff deserves 10 stars. Location is not very nice, but they have an amazing shuttle service to the airport and from there you can reach the city or any other place. It is very clean and the staff really trying to make you feel very good. Breakfast is also good, there could be more variety especially if you stay 6-7 nights, you get bored of the same food, but overall for a business stay this hotel deserves 10 stars :)

The area felt safe and secure. The hotel was clean and suited perfectly for air travelers. Breakfast was early, and the shuttle started early. When the shuttle filled up the staff arranged for complementary cars to the airport for people who had pre-registered for a shuttle.

One room was on the back side of the hotel and it was very quiet. One of our rooms on the front was very noisy and they had a hard time sleeping for all of the road noise. The shuttle was running behind in the morning and took longer to make rounds for pickup at the airport than some of the other hotels. We saw other shuttles come back three and four times before ours made one trip.

Greeted by friendly courtesy bus driver, he was helpful with the cases. The two ladies on reception where very kind & certainly treated us with friendly helpful advice. The room was very clean & the shower was large & lots of very hot water. Towels large & very white. The breakfast was a great surprise….help yourself selection, cereal, fruit, hot choices, bagels etc …a super lady who keeps everything fresh & makes you waffles as well. She is a complete gem. The icing on the cake for me as a Brit…was good tea bags, hot water & fresh milk ….a good cup of tea. Well done everyone at Fairmont.

About as smooth as we could have asked for getting off the flight - air train to federal circle where the shuttle was waiting- to the hotel and checked in SEAMLESSLY which my family appreciated after a late arrival. The lady at check in was super nice and friendly and made it a breeze! Room was clean and comfortable. We were really impressed with the breakfast actually ! Good options even little quiches and a very friendly lady making waffles for everybody. Communication from the manager with specific directions about shuttle etc. was very good through booking.com messages! Thank you!

Price seemed pretty steep even booked far in advance but maybe that's just New York. Didn't look like the friendliest part of town around the hotel but we felt fine at the hotel.
