This is a lovely hotel in the middle of a vineyard. The views and nearby walks are beautiful. You have the advantage of being able to do a little wine tasting of Denbies own wine. The evening meal food was excellent. Fine dining and good service all at a fair price. The room is nicely decorated and has all you need. Even a coffee machine and fresh milk in a fridge. The staff were very friendly and well informed about Denbies wines and you even get a little taster on arrival. Breakfast was only £5 each to add on and was fantastic. The room is quiet and on ground level. We walked into the local town of Dorking via the vineyards. The Denbies shop and cafe next door is worth a visit.

The pillows are hard. I didn't say anything though, so maybe softer ones are available on request. Also some hair conditioner would be great and/or a shower hat. (Again these might have been available on request)

Very friendly staff, location was beautiful. Room was clean and bright. Soft towels. Nice to have a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was delicious. Mix of cereals and pastries and cooked to order options as well. Waitresses kind and helpful. Difficult to find in the dark! Hotel is tucked round the corner behind the garden centre. Ended up parking in the vineyard car park and walking!

No sound proofing in the rooms, could hear conversations, people talking on the stairs all morning. Was hoping for a lay in and restful morning but this was not at all possible! Small room for the money.

The staff were all lovely, very friendly......very clean, really lovely food...and very well priced drinks too...for a vinyard, very impressed....

I booked a twin, back in Jan 24, because they only have double beds, and me being a rubbish sleeper I like a king-size for comfort, so if the bed is a double, I normally ask for a twin, to make it a queen size, I am very bed fussy lol..... On arrival it said " no twin available" which I don't think is suitable, you should get what you book.... My guess is it was needed for a another guest.. also beds are hard......again that is all personal preference

The location is well isolated from the nearby dual carriageway, has a large visitor's centre at the front of the building, with mainly rear-facing hotel rooms, surrounded on three sides by the vineyard and some very pleasant hills. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for Christmas with very pleasant staff and delicious food, albeit the menu choices were quite limited. The room was very pleasant with a decent TV, modern bathroom, coffee machine, sockets near the bed, plenty of wardrobe space, and mini fridge with complementary milk.

I had to have both blinds all the way down as my room, being on the ground floor, was clearly visible from part of the restaurant and also the main entrance path to the hotel. Maybe some sort of top-opening blinds or sliding curtains would be more suitable for this particular room. Also it was right next to the main entrance so if you wanted an early night your sleep might get interrupted.

Room spotlessly clean, large and comfortable Evening meal was outstanding Breakfast, what a delight to have it cooked fresh Location on the amazing vineyard with amazing walks and views Staff went above and beyond and were probably the friendliest we’ve encountered

View from room wasn’t the best but in no way affected our stay The room was too warm over night without any option to alter it even though having windows open

My third stay - had to book 2-3 hours before check-in unexpectedly in the evening, so its good they have 24 hr reception! On the ground floor this time of the main hotel house. My window was right next to the dinging room windows so that was weird at first but luckily it wasn't noisy, an neither was the front door which i was right next too! Great breakfast and very welcoming staff - who keep very cheerful!

I forgot to ask if you can reserve a meal and have it in your room. I've never managed to book a table, I generally arrive late between 6 - 8pm. So usually have grabbed something from local garage or shop to eat in the room.

My second stay here - this time i was in a room in the main building on first floor. Again really good interior - its nice to have good desk space for work. This time room temp was fine, and it wasn't windy! So I slept really well! Mini fridge is a nice touch with complimentary water still and sparkling plus fresh milk!

Somewhere between 2-3am there was an exodus of people chatting very loudly outside and i think bottles clanking into bins? - not sure if they were staff changing the night shift or another guest had friends over-late in one of the exterior rooms

the room interior design was perfect - desk space, vanity desk, open wardrobe, good bathroom. Breakfast was very good - you could choose other options as well as full English like salmon and scrambled eggs. I though the price was pretty decent too considering this is Surrey - and places like The De Vere have gone up to £112+

It was a windy night so the blind rattled continuously, my room was on the ground floor so i didn't feel comfortable leaving it up I usually sleep with the window open. It was also pretty hot in the room.

Such a lovely stay. Location is beautiful and we took part in the wine tours and wine tasting lunch which were delicious. The produce was all local and great quality. The room was spacious and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The wines were fabulous, the food delicious and plenty to do. A lovely stay and I can’t wait to go back!

The location was amazing, it took us an hour from North London and we had no idea a vineyard and vineyard hotel was within reach for a night away. The walk from the station was through a village and a field then THROUGH THE VINEYARD which is such a gorgeous way to arrive. Our room was comfortable, lovely bed and pillows. The bathroom was sparkling clean. Loved the wine library and sitting outside on the garden terrace in the sunshine. Delicious cooked breakfast amongst options for all tastes. Can't wait to come back, can't recommend more. I'd rather it was kept a secret.

nothing negative to say except it was fully booked when we wanted to stay another night. loved it all so much
