Staff very accommodating and helpful. Especially Tom and Grant. Rooms were lovely decor and it had welcoming atmosphere and quaint. Bus taking you into Guildford was great and opposite route to gorgeous Shere.

The room we stayed In was right under the hotel laundry room and over the back door which is next to the local shop. The deliveries arrived early and the cage rattled loudly and echoed and this woke me up abruptly. Also difficult to sleep with the washing machine grinding all night. Please shut the door this will be more considerate. Would it possible to let the shop owner ask the deliveries each morning to consider people are trying to lay in just above their heads. Thanks.

We had a fantastic time at The Drummond, from the beginning of our arrival the customer service was excellent with all my queries being answered promptly and great suggestions & contacts provided for my needs, unfortunately there were no taxi’s available to take use to The Silent Pool distillery where we had booked a tour , so one of the team took us in her car, thank you so much Flor that was very kind of you, The Drummond is truly one of the best I’ve stayed at, our only wish was that we had stayed longer there, the interior decor extremely tasteful, warm comfortable beds and spotlessly clean, in our large room there was additional luxury of a roll top bath, we dined in the restaurant for lunch and as there was so much choice of deliciousness on the menu we decided to book a table for dinner, I highly recommend you dine there our meals were cooked to perfection and presentation was excellent.

I had added comments in my booking the reason we were staying, on arrival the staff member was aware of our situation and very, very kindly offered us a bottle of Prosecco on the house (such a kind gesture). We booked a table in the restaurant that evening and the food was delicious. We had breakfast, again the food was delicious. All the staff we encountered were really lovely, I am very impressed with this hotel, the twin room we booked was perfect and cosy, bathroom and shower wonderful. I would have no reservations to book again. Thank you .

My friend and I had a lovely stay here. The room was really clean and comfy. It was warm even in September but there was a fan provided in the room which we used to keep it cooler. Bathroom was spacious and clean. We did a lovely walk from the pub. It was convenient for what we wanted to do. Breakfast first day was lovely. Second was average. Different chefs I think. We had an evening meal on a deal which was also good value and tasty. Staff were really kind and helpful.

Nothing really to dislike. Everything was perfectly clean and acceptable for the price paid.

The place is surrounded by picturesque locations ( Surrey hills,Shere,) The pub is situated at the bank of a river I enjoyed driving to that pub. The room was spacious,super cosy,neat Through the building is old but they managed to preserve the age but implemented modern facilities nicely Bathroom was new,new,tiles were in great condition No signs of mould,super clean floor, carpets were not smelly Great variety of tea, coffee,hot chocolate,two mugs and cool glasses were provided Linen was fresh and clean Pub was very clean and i loved tiles and carpet in the pub Food was really great Presentation of dishes was great My partner is a chef and trust me if he praises something,it really worth it I absolutely loved our stay there Unfortunately we were not able to try breakfast as it was super comfortable to sleep in that room and we could not wake up earlier, but we are definitely coming back I was amazed by everything

The bar area had a great atmosphere and the food was lovely. I highly recommend the small plate hummous - superb and the beef and ale pie. Breakfast was lovely. I have previously stayed in one of their sister pubs. Shame about the rain because they have a lovely garden with a small stream at the bottom. Ample parking is on site.

I would have liked breakfast to have been served from 7.30am onwards as I was on a business trip. There is a small bridge over the stream which led to a superb car park - just me, but I was caustious of driving over it.

Lovely location, friendly staff, and a beautiful and clean room! The breakfast was tasty although it would have been nice to have a few more veggie/vegan options.

I don't think this could have been avoided, but I think we happened to time our stay with a wedding or party of some sort... which meant that on the night they were blasting music from their room and having a karaoke session until about 3am. So obviously we got very little sleep and with the staff not being on-site in the evening, we didn't really know how to handle the situation. Our room was on the ground floor and the next night we also didn't sleep very well as the ceilings seemed to be very thin and so we could hear the room above us and whenever they moved it woke me. I am quite a light sleeper, but we definitely didn't feel rested after our stay here!

This is a great gastro-pub and inn, situated in a beautiful village. Its decor is a tasteful blend of modern and traditional, and it has a fantastic outdoor seating area in the rear garden, complete with a babbling brook and footbridge. There's great parking, too. We stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant. The food was excellent, and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Our room was large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast the next morning was fabulous, too. We highly recommend staying at The Drummond.

I tell you what, this was an absolute belter of a room. Enough space to play a game of tennis(although for safety reasons I can’t say I did) I stayed here for 2 nights and both nights I had a relaxing sleep, it was also cheaper than the nearest 3 travelodges!! The food is spot on and Jamie deserves a mention for his approachable characteristics and made sure I had the best stay here.

The one negative I can raise(this is more aimed for the hotel to see/sort as opposed to it being about the stay!) the walk-in shower door in room 1 needs to be looked at as it doesn’t shut properly. Just a heads up!

Great breakfast, great pub dinner, friendly staff.

The room did not match the photos advertised - it was in a totally separate building from the pub where the newly refurbished rooms are located. We had to walk past bins and storage areas to get to it and although the room was adequate, it was outdated and not very attractive. The building's entryway was visibly being used for storage so we saw cot/ highchair/ folding beds/big bags of loo rolls. These rooms are not as nice and should be priced differently.
