We booked 2 rooms - one for myself and one for my brother and his girlfriend. The hotel met my request and roomed us very close together which was great. We arrived at 1.30am on the Sunday, and had the room booked from Saturday afternoon. The reception staff were very accommodating during check-in, even taking us to the restaurant to get a small snack before we were taken to the rooms! The rooms were both very spacious and clean. From what we could see, all rooms seem to have a small patio or balcony area which is perfect for a morning cuppa or an evening game! All staff were very polite and friendly - we felt they really made the effort to remember things about where we were from, how long we were staying, etc. Which is impressive considering how many people stay at once! We particularly enjoyed the aqua gym, Zumba and water polo sessions during the day from the animation team too. It was quite windy during our stay, so it was great to have free access to the mini golf and and the cycling cart. As always in holidays like this, the excursions and spa team were keen for us to book with them. We weren't interested in any excursions but felt that the team were very understanding and polite when we said no. We did book a massage with Sasi for our last day, this cost around £60 each for an aromatherapy 1 hour massage. It also included access to the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi afterwards. The different restaurants provided a variety of food - lunch and dinner options were similar each day but with a few differences which worked perfect for our group - some of us liked the consistency while others preferred to try new things! We enjoyed the sports bar in the evening, this was perfect to have a few drinks and play some card games in. We also booked a table at the White Elephant restaurant where you could order a main off the menu, we all had a lovely steak! Rooms were refreshed daily and we thoroughly enjoyed the towel animals.

From the moment we arrived at Pickalbatros Royal Moderna in Sharm El-Sheikh, we knew we had made the right choice. This hotel is simply amazing! The atmosphere, the service, the food—everything was beyond expectations. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful pools, crystal-clear waters, and perfectly maintained gardens. The rooms, while not the newest, were always clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, making sure everything was spotless every single day, which made our stay even more enjoyable. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible staff, and I have to give a special mention to Bassem Fahmy. He was an absolute gem! From the very first day, he made sure we had everything we needed, always checking in on us with a warm smile. No matter what the request was, he handled it with professionalism and kindness. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated, and we were lucky to have him as our go-to person during our stay. Thank you, Bassem, for making our trip even more special! We will definitely be coming back to Pickalbatros Royal Moderna, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect vacation in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike! If I had to mention something, the rooms aren’t the newest, but they’re spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Everything else—from the service to the atmosphere—was simply perfect.

This was our second stay at this resort and we loved it even more than the first time. The resort is perfect for a family stay, it has many different slides for all ages from 0-99, you cant get bored. Most of the pools are heated in winter which is a must for us. The reef here leaves you speechless because of so many variety of fish. The foam party and fire show are really special. There are 6 restaurants with deliscious food from all over the world. The food is high quality and so much variety that we didnt even have the time or the will to try the a la carte restaurant. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice, we never felt pressured for tips. The booking manager Luca takes time for the guests to check if everything is perfect. I am especially thankful for the best room at the resort and that we could check out late with no problems. Our room keeper Hazem was really sweet, the room was tidy and the swans with flowers he made were beautiful. There were no people selling tours/massages etc which is great. Its not crowded, you can always get a sun chair and space at the beach. We tried 5 different resorts of the same price rage in Sharm and this one is definitely our favourite because it ticks all the boxes of important things for our family. We will return next year.

An amazing stay; very spacious rooms, variety of dinning options, great slides at the aqua park, great setup qt diving center and most important is the incredibly supportive and accomodating stuff parricularly at hotel reception led by Mr. Sayed El-Azzab - many thanks for the amazing stay!!

Similar to all hotels in Nabq Bay: beach is extrely shallow and rocky with jetty walk over 750 Mts to reach a snorkling or swimming spot.

Excellent staff espescially Mr. Ahmad Abd el Monaem in the reception who made sure we were happy and satisfied during our holiday . We also enjoyed very much with special treatment of Lifegaurds Mustafa and Omar ( I think ) in the beach .

Please make sure you clean the public toilets in the hotel more frequently 🙏

It was our first time in Egypt. The hotel was very clean, tidy and safe. The employees were generally friendly and helpful. Even though it was full, there was no trace of the chaos of all-inclusive hotels. The location and view of our room were exactly what we wanted. The sheets were clean. There was everything we needed to feel comfortable (bathrobes, slippers etc.) Instead of comparing the food with Turkey, we preferred to taste local foods. It is surprising that short-term stayers find the food in 5 different restaurants to be poor. Even if a person stays for a month, he still can not finish the varieties. We had a drink while sunbathing under the big awnings on the beach. We used the shallowness of the sea to our advantage, sunbathing by sitting in the water in the mornings, and cooled off by diving into the water from the pier in the afternoons. We had snacks on the beach. We drank our coffee at Columbus Cafe. We enjoyed watching the shows in the amphitheater, especially belly dance and fireshow. We played minigolf. We sunbathed in the pool. We prefer to laze around instead of doing Zumba, dance, etc. 😊 We came here to relax. We achieved this too. We would like to especially thank Luca. He was there whenever we needed him. He played a big part in making our holiday so wonderful. If you have a problem, don't forget to find Luca😊We would also like to thank the housekeeper who cleaned room 502, the young man who carried our luggages and Muhammed from the reception. They made us feel at home. We plan to go the hotel again. We recommend this hotel.

Several restaurants in one place. Distance: 200m (3-minute walk). The food is very tasty and diverse. There was never anything missing, no queues. Meals available from 7:00 AM until almost midnight, with snacks in between (pizza, spaghetti Bolognese, fries, hamburgers, fruits, vegetables, drinks, juices). Ice cream for kids and a 24-hour café. The staff is absolutely delightful, always smiling. In the restaurant, the waiters often approached our table, asking if we wanted coffee, wine, or if we needed anything. Always cheerful and positive. We felt special and well taken care of. I rate the staff 10 out of 10. The hotel is right by the beach. Rooms were always impeccably cleaned. Many pools (with crystal-clear water), some with heated water (32°C). A beautiful water park with slides—kids were thrilled. Daily entertainment for children. Mini golf—great, plus a tennis court. A sports bar with a pool table. A long pier extending into the sea, about 800m, with plenty of space at the end to relax and enjoy the beautiful coral reef. We also felt very safe—everyone at the entrance was checked. A huge thank you to the entire staff for an amazing vacation! 😊

Sometimes it was a bit windy from the beach, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. We were there in February, and it’s windy everywhere in Egypt at that time. But it was still very warm.

We were there in January with small kids. There is a huge buffet and even if overall quality is not top notch, you can identify good food after a while. For us it was fruit and vegetables! Swimming pools are great but they close at 17 in winter. 1 for adults and 2 for kids are heated. Overall, coral reef was great, average entertainment with some courses and little activities, as staff was not very numerous. There is a walkable path parallel to the beach which goes through all the other resorts, good for a walk or running.

The restaurant is very big, and to me they could improve the kid zone with some toys and little playground to keep them from running around and get bored while adults eat. I also think a kid playground could fit one of the inside area, for times when outside it's windy and the kids club it's closed. Tennis and padel courts/equipment were quite old (deflated balls).

reseption was very helpful to us during check-in and check-out. They even offered us staying at available room for additional couple hours before check-out and late snack before our flight. Special thanks for Mohammed at the reseption he was treated us like friendly. Food was also very satisfiying, you can find lots of different cuisine. Sea was amazing lots of fishes you may see. Staff and servise was very satisfying, everyone was smiling all the time and helpful to us.

The hotel was amazing! 7 days went by like a blink. The staff were very friendly. Everything was just perfect! There was a cake and bedroom decorations at no charge on my wife's birthday. My 3 kids had the most amazing time at the pools and aqua park. I usually say I never go to the same place 2ce, but I will definitely be revisiting! One thing I missed... the food! Coming from Nigeria, food is usually one big concern on vacations, but the variety of food available was just crazy! I didn't even miss my Nigerian dishes. At some point I was worried the kids might become sick from over feeding :D. We all loved the food. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
