Very decent breakfast, polite and helpful staff, clean. Very good location, 2 minutes from bus station and ferry station and the waterfront.

The only negative thing about our room was that the balcony had a wall built from floor to ceiling except for a square window, very high, touching the ceiling, just enough to allow the sunlight to come in the room. So you couldn't see anything outside, unless you stepped on a chair. Like a prison cell. Maybe it was just our room. Maybe the other rooms had normal balconies and windows. Other than that, it was a very good hotel, very convinient location, clean, with very helpful staff.

The hotel is relatively modern. The room had most of the amenities that I could want, including a mini-refrigerator and a safe, and it was clean. The locations is good, as it is on a side street near the "Ferries" area of Sliema, which is close to many restaurants and shops and provides excellent transportation links (including ferries to Valletta). However, since it is on a side street, the hotel is relatively quiet; it's not affected by traffic noise or the music from the bars facing the main road.

My room had a view of a blank wall within a small, internal courtyard that I personally preferred (as it was quiet) but that may bother other travellers. It was occasionally possible to hear other guests in the hotel, but this was not a major issue.

We had a wonderful stay in March 2025. Location was very convenient, close to ferry, shops, great restaurants and we have to mention a lovely view of Valletta. Breakfast provided good options of warm/english breakfast and also Mediterranean options + freshly made cakes/croissants etc...plenty for everyone to enjoy. Staff were fantastic, went out and above, so thank you! Our room was spacious, with a sofa bed made for our son. The room was cleaned to perfection every morning. The only slightly negative comment - the noise from the street, but this affected only me as I am a very light sleeper. However, this was not a deal braker as my family did not mind. We would definitely stay in the hotel again. Thank you for looking after us, we truly enjoyed it!

Spacious and modern room, very nicely furnished and fitted with coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, TV, safe and mini-fridge. Large third bed. Breakfast with a good choice of salted and sweet food: toasted bread, croissants, cannoli, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, cereals, hard boiled eggs, fruit juice, coffe/tea, cheese, cold cuts and hot food. The hotel is in a strategic position, close to ferry and bus stops, shops, bars, restaurants and the sea-promenade that overlooks Valletta. You can also easily walk around Sliema or reach Saint Julian on foot.

Unfortunately the people from the room downstairs were in the mood to party on Saturday night (which I can understand...): they kept on partying on the balcony with loud music and voices from 3 to 6 in the morning and that made it impossibile for me to sleep. That would have made no big difference to me if only I wouldn't have had my flight back home the following night (delayed) and then a 2 hour drive to reach my home... I had a really hard time getting back home with no sleep!

Great location and nice staff ready to help. Big thanks to Diego at the front desk for his helpful advice. The rooms are clean, modern and -if you book a superior- very spacious. Be aware that not every balcony is a real balcony with a view. It really makes sense to book a superior room in the highest floor. If you are the first time in Malta, Mr Todd hotel is a great place to start your stay, close to ferry, shops, bus stops, Valletta etc.

Lipton tea for breakfast (and in the room) is the cheapest choice. In a hotel like that you should have a better brand. If you stay for longer than a few days, the breakfast buffet starts to get boring. Some years ago the buffet was better- scrambled eggs (real not artificial) and fried eggs are missing. Bed mattresses should be changed, they are far too soft.

Very clean and modern hotel. The location - great (all the bus stops, ferries). Perfect full breakfast for every taste and diet - really great! You can regulate the temperature in the room yourself, so it was perfect! The staff - amazingly helpful and friendly.

A little thing for improvement: there was only shower gel and soap provided. I expected a shampoo as well, unfortunately there was none. The walls are probably relarively thin, so you could hear your neighbours watching TV and talking late at night (but I am also a sensitive sleeper :) ).

The Todd Hotel is a good accommodation in Sliema, close to the sea and therefore to means of transport (both ferries and buses). The quality/price ratio is good, but it depends on the room you are assigned. In my case I was given a large room but with a strange internal balcony and a small window without frames. Since it seemed noisy to me, I asked if it was possible to change it and Diego kindly showed me three others, allowing me to choose without asking me to pay a surcharge (which would have been unjustified anyway, because the alternatives were smaller, despite having a tiny balcony which however overlooked an internal courtyard, overlooking condominiums). Therefore my stay was as peaceful as I hoped. Diego also kindly lent me an adapter to charge my cell phone.

The main flaw I found, apart from the obsolete British sockets, are the mattresses, which are uncomfortable and not up to par. Moreover it would be nice to find something in the minibar instead of in the entrance hall. Finally, breakfast could be richer and with better quality products.

We were pleased with our hotel choice. The hotel's location is excellent, with everything within a 5-10 minute walk. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was satisfactory. The wifi worked well.

Our room overlooked a light well. It wasn't distracting because it wasn't ugly or undemanding, and there was enough light. Of course, it was not the most beautiful sight. I was more bothered by the fact that if someone smoked on the light-well balcony, it smelled for a while. Sometimes, the elevator would malfunction.

The location was great, a few minutes walk to the Sliema ferries, bus stops, hop off hop on bus, restaurants etc. Staff were amazing, hospitable, and always willing to assist. Air conditioning worked great. It was so hot, and to come back to a beautiful cold room was a godsend. Our room was so quiet, and although I personally found the bed uncomfortable, I slept like a baby. It was so nice that Staff stored our luggage for us, as we weren't flying out until 10 pm. They also let us wait until we were ready to call an Uber. Overall, it's a nice little hotel, just what you need.

I dont like leaving negative comments, so I'll leave constructive criticism. The bathroom is huge but lacked anywhere to put our stuff. Only one shelf. It would be beneficial to add another shelving unit in the bathroom and solves people having to place things on the floor. The beds are really uncomfortable, a mattress on a stretcher bed feel. Please invest in some better bedding and an underlay would have been good instead of just a sheet on a mattress. Minor niggles, but I still liked staying here. Thank you.

Noisy, noise coming from outside and inside. I could even hear my neighbor snoring and TV very early in the morning. I have to say that I am a bit sensitive to noise. A/C was good but it hit me directly in my face while I was sleeping. Two small beds together instead of one big.
