Its a cozy hotel. The stuff were lovely and they all speak multi languages

The ventilation system in the kitchen is bad, so the food smell is everywhere in the hotel

We had an amazing time at Hotel Sonnhof. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and the balcony had an excellent view on to the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary Innsbruck Welcome Card also made travel around Innsbruck free! The swimming pool was unfortunately being renovated when we were there, but the sauna was lovely and a great place to wind down after a long day out. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a short 4-5 minute walk to the tram stop; the tram comes every 30-60 minutes (depending on time of day) and takes around 25 minutes to get into the centre of Innsbruck. Overall we had an incredible time and would definitely stay again!

I do yoga in the morning - I would like an area or room to use with access to wifi so I can play my videos on YouTube. I did go to the games room on the lower basement floor but the internet did not work Also, the swimming pool room was too hot, did not see the swimming pool water being circulated, so I never used the pool The pool water temperature seemed fine The size of the room seemed a bit crammed for 3 people The temperature of the room got too hot at night. Was not sure how to regulate this

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains, especially from the large windows in the restaurant area. The breakfast has a good variety to choose from, and we also had a lovely dinner in the restaurant one evening. The room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. We traveled by car, so the location was not an issue, but the hotel is located 2 minutes from a tram stop, which allows for easy access to different parts of the city even if you don't travel by car.

Premises are clean,.staff friendly and professional. A good bigger swiming pool, but below average spa zone like in 90s. Hotel is bit out of Innsbruck 5km, at more quite and higher position in a small village Mutters, but definitely not within the walking distance to downtown Innsbruck.Good breakfast, average food in restaurant, luckily not crazy expensive. Definitely top desert Kaiserschmaren you have to try!

Rooms are outdated, overall fair hotel, but definitely not a 4* Hotel!

very limited options to have dinner for vegetarian and vegans. vegetarial burger was terrible and expensive, then a soup that was just water with some herbs and flour. really no option at all for vegans.

This small family run hotel is a gem. The location is magical, the views of the mountains stunning. There is a tram station 1 minute from the hotel that runs to Innsbruck every 30 minutes (a 30 minute ride) which is really convenient. There is also a gondola that takes you up the mountain, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast was quite good (no sausages though!). The dinner options very nice and big. The garden is quite nice also, to have a beer with your dinner. Last, the bathroom was excellent and clean. Also the views from the balconies. Stunning.

I would prefer if there were more dinning options in the village. There is only on pizzeria (nice one) that opens only for dinner. However, there is a super market that sells all you need, even cooked food (I loved it, sooooo convenient).

The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable. And the breakfast was very nice. The evening meal we had was very good.

One needs to be aware of the fact that Mutters is basically a village for commuters going to work in Innsbruck. Although it still has the typical alpine look, it is nice, but very quiet with not much to do, well - at least at the time we were there (October).

Proximity to Innsbruck either by train or car (10-15 minutes), the welcome card supplied free of charge allowing to enjoy several cable cars (we stayed more than 3 nights), the pool and sauna after the day of trail or visits 😀. Kindness of personnel.

Our room was located above the restaurant, this could be a bit noisy in the morning if windows were opened.

Breakfast was amazing. Almost all the hotels in Innsbruck gave Welcome card with free public transport for the days you are there (atleast 2 nights, more offers with 3 nights). You can also buy Innsbruck card from reception. 20 mins tram stop to the old town. Breathtaking views from the hotel or even the walk to the tram. Sauna and Indoor pool heated to 29 degrees in the basement. We had them both to ourselves when went to use it. Staff was very friendly. Use Mutters Bahnhof instead of Burgstall (Google shows the wrong one). There's a tiny plastic slide set outside and a small indoor play room for kids. The staff was also very kid friendly. The tables for all mealtimes are always already reserved with a room number. Rooms seemed soundproof too.

Very tall tree right in front of our balcony that blocked the beautiful view of the mountains, but it was maybe the only room to have this view obstructed. The cupboards were too squeaky.
