An excellent hotel with wonderful hosts. We were made to feel welcome immediately and enjoyed finding out about the area and days out from Paula. Our room was clean, tidy and pleasant. We had the three people family room. It was a good size. Bathroom had an amazing power shower. Breakfast was truly delicious. Husband stuck with full English every day, daughter and I explored the alternatives and had delicious pastries and waffles. There is a communal lounge area which we used to play games from the well stocked cupboard. Highly recommend this hotel.

A very friendly welcome from Paula and Ray, our room was large, immaculately clean, with a super comfy super king bed. The room appeared newly decorated with thick plush carpets, good curtains, excellent sound proofing from the road (which is not a busy one anyway) massive fluffy towels, rain head shower with good pressure and hot water on demand. Wifi was excellent as was the cooked breakfast, both meat and veggie versions. Really comfortable all round, the two girls serving breakfast were professional and friendly too. Location for us was perfect, slightly on the edge of the town but not so far it was a chore, the walk through the gardens and along the prom into the town centre was extremely pleasant.

Easy location to find and only a short pleasant walk to the seafront. They say it’s the people who make a break away feel like home, Paula and Ray make you feel welcome and treat you like old freinds from the moment you walk through the door. Taking the time to give you loads of advice about places to eat/drink/visit during our stay so we could make the most of our time.

The Grosvenor Hotel is located with in easy reach of the Shore and Beach. The Rooms amenities and facilities were excellent, well kept clean room plenty of space. The Breakfast was choice was perfect,plenty of it and great quality produce. Our family stay at the Grosvenor was a great experience one I highly recommend.

For what me and my family required for our stay in Torquay there are no negative comments.

Brilliant location, very friendly and lovely room, breakfast was really nice as well only reason I didn’t mark a 10 was because there isn’t much privacy when having breakfast but that can’t be helped and definitely wouldn’t stop us going back if advice every one to hook there

The owners were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options and very tasty. All areas were very clean, and a perfect spot just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, not far into town and ideal if travelling around the area too. Lots of facilities that we didn’t have chance to use as it was only a short stay, but they had thought of everything even down to games to borrow and play to stave off the boredom! We couldn’t have asked for more especially whilst we were travelling with our two boys, 6 and 1.

When I approached the driveway I instantly got slammed with a homey feeling, as I stepped through the front door - these feelings increased as I was greeted by the wonderful Paula who invited us into the house. From there we had a lovely conversation followed by informative recommendations about the area and what activities / places we should see. We were given a tour around to the common area and what to do in an emergency, she then led us to our room. The room was incredibly spacious and beautiful! so much space ;) Paula then gave us our key and let us settle in. In the mornings she is very attentive and met all our our needs, you also get a breakfast included in the price you pay! There is a vast selection to choose from and it can be tweaked to your preferences. Paula makes delicious breakfasts! and big up yourselves for working that hard with Ray and your little helpers! We will be staying again soon :) Thank you for a wonderful accommodation ❤️ I also lost my earring when I was in Torquay, and was very devastated as I thought I had lost them during our walks. However!!!!! This morning (01/08/2022) I got an unexpected but wonderful letter, which contained my other earring!! I absolutely love you guys for that as it is my favourite pair and means a lot to me!!

We was greeted on arrival after a long drive with a wonderful cuppa from our wonderful hosts and then given a guided tour of the property and our stay. Plenty of knowledge was at hand of things local for you to enjoy around the area which was a wonderful touch. The breakfast was spectacular with so much choice at hand and any special requests were no problem for the hosts to accommodate on your behalf. The Grosvenor is ideally situated for all amenities that Torquay and surrounding areas has to offer. Thank you once more for a wonderful stay and we very much look forward to seeing you again soon.

Nothing negative to add

The location was perfect for us. Nice walk into the centre and quiet location. Breakfast was amazing and made to order. The rooms were spotless and we sat in the lounge with Paula and Ray for a drink when we returned the one evening with other guests and it was a lovely end to our evening.
