Great location. Fantastic facilities. Polite and curteous staff. Everything you need for a lovely break/holiday

My sink was in the lounge and near the only plug socket so was a tad awkward charging phone etc. Outdoor pool could have opened earlier than 11am. It was a heatwave and lotsa people queing for it to be open but only minor issues. On the whole, great place and will def come back.

We were allocated two double rooms, next to each other we only requested two singles so this was great! Breakfast was very good, dining room was huge! Parking wasn't great had to drive around to find other carparks but then got lucky as someone was leaving! The good thing is from the carpark, we could easily access the hotel from there. Had to pay £10 a day as we booked through Booking.com apparently free if you booked direct! We did however, book a spa treatment before we stayed, that gave us a 15% discount. The spa area is beautiful, absolutely loved the relaxation area, coffee was lovely too, free of charge also a bonus. The Indian Head Massage was just perfect, very relaxing. From there we went into the pools and very much enjoyed the jacuzzi, lovely straight after a massage! We sat around the outdoor pool during the day, but by the sound of others jumping in that it was freezing, someone said it was like swimming in ice!! So we didn't bother lol :) The Aztec bar area was great, food was good value for a bar meal, drinks slightly expensive in my opinion, they also had singers as light entertainment, again very good. Seating was very comfortable and lots of it too, another bonus. We only went to the Aztec bar and our own hotels Starlight bar, typical holiday camp entertainment, again what was expected to be honest, we certainly had lots of fun up on the upper level, it's what you make it, me & my friend had plenty to drink and joined in with the singing & dancing! Bar closed at 1am. so plenty of time to get yourself a hangover in the morning lol :) All staff were very friendly and obviously enjoy working there, as plenty of them stayed for a few drinks after their shift, great to see! The hotel is a typical oldie style Torquay hotel, long corridors, unlevel floors, small stairwells and little rabbit-runs you could easily get lost, but again adds to the fun, I wasn't expecting the Ritz! Very clean though.

We didn't have anything to complain about with regards to what we were expecting, although maybe the carparking charges, we weren't expecting that, and knowing if we didn't book through Booking.com it would have been free, slightly disappointing.

Availability of everything that could be needed for a stay , from entertainment and bars to swimming pools and games rooms all under one roof with no need to go outside in inclement weather.

Parking was terrible when we arrived on Saturday at 2pm and didn’t improve until around midday Sunday. Wasn’t aware until we arrived that the facilities are open for non hotel guests as well. Had no choice but to wedge my car between a wall and a coach .

Dinner was very good. Room very nice sea view. Entertainment fantastic every night credit to the stars and team

Because we booked Direct with booking .com, which the hotel advertised private parking this is why we booked. When we arrived we had been told it is £10.00 per night to park my car on the the hotel car park. But if I booked direct with the hotel parking is free. Very disapointing spoilt the holiday. Booking.com need to put this information on there web site for this hotel.

The property was ok a bit dated and in need of some TLC.

Even though we booked Disabled Parking there was a charge for this because we booked through Booking.com even though it was booked through the manage my booking direct to the hotel, again even though we had told them we had an elderly person who had mobility problems the first room they gave her was up some steps so back to reception to sort. Maybe inside the hotel have some signage or make aware at check in that there is a good route to access the different areas throughout the hotel.

Rooms outdated, room stayed in curtains didn't meet in the middle and gaps at sides. Mattress bit uncomfortable and bathroom bit damp too.

Location. Friendly Staff. Entertainment.

Stated continental breakfast so was disappointed when there were no pastries/cakes available apart from croissants on request. The way one female member of staff was talking loudly to another male team member at breakfast about there being no mugs available and to use his common sense, the way she spoke to him was awful and should have been done in private not in front of guests at breakfast.

Verity of things to do. 3 or 4 bars. Swimming pool. After arcade with bowling alley. Snooker table. Indoor carpet bowls. Some great things to keep you occupied.

The toilet roll was very narrow and rather thin. The rooms were too hot. The place could have done with additional lifts for the elderly. They was lots of steps for the elderly. The location was up a long long hill from town. The hotel was clean, satisfactory food. Lots of activities. I enjoyed my stay. I would go back there again.
