Warm welcome from a lovely helpful host. Enjoyable 3 nights, with gorgeous weather in October! Spacious room, very clean & a cosy large bed. Was able to get into my room earlier as it was ready, & leave my luggage in the hotel while l had another walk about in beautiful Torquay on the day of departure. Lots of information in the room on places of interest which l made use of, & Steph gave me a map of the area..all appreciated. 5 mins walk to beach, 10 mins walk to a large shopping centre..22 bus goes everywhere! Torre & Torquay train station 10/15 mins walk to hotel from different directions. I felt perfectly safe in that area & in the hotel. Thank you 😊

Steph and Simon were lovely,very friendly and couldn't do enough for us was great that we wasn't too far from the beach either,was lovely that they were both from the west midlands the same as me,breakfast was amazing and delicious,steph very knowledgeable and was happy to recommend places to go visit or eat out for food and also showing us where the bus stops were to get to where we wanted. Thank you for a lovely stay and we shall see you again soon

This hotel is a gem amongst a row of guest houses along the road. We were very welcomed as soon as we arrived by Stephanie, who by the way is the local oracle! What she doesn’t know about the local area is not worth knowing! She gave us so many tips about good places to eat and visit. Lovely welcoming family. Our room was lovely, we had a large superking size bed and the most beautiful bath! Our room was spotlessly clean when we arrived and serviced every day of our stay. Lovely little touches like tea and coffee, and a little bowl of sweets, also soap in the bathroom! The location is perfectly situated for the seafront and town and is within easy reach of public transport. This place exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be back with more family next time. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Room was brilliant well equipped and very comfortable and my partner really enjoyed the bath. Owners were very friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful about the local area on where to eat and go. If we stay in Torquay again we will definitely look if this place is available and good location, great value for money and the breakfast was excellent 10/10

Excellent value for money, such a welcome from the owners. Took bags to room, explained where we could visit around the area. Showed where to park, everything was clean and tidy. Room was amazing and comfortable. On arrival it was explained about the TV being broken and that another one would be collected and put in place. I thought this was a lovely thing to do and really did exceed expectation of how the hotel is ran. The TV didn't bother me but to know they were concerned about this and had deal with the situation was excellent. I will for sure book again and hopefully next time a longer stay :)

Steph, the host was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Full of local knowledge and ideas. Gave us beach towels for the beach as an extra when we mentioned a sea swim. Serviced the room daily, which was immaculate when we arrived. Allowed us an early check-in as the room was ready which allowed us more exploring time in Torquay.

The bathroom was very compact and the shower really small, however it worked well and is a small inconvenience.

Atlantis is a 15-minute walk from the Torquay Railway Station. It is a mere 10 minutes to the Torquay Beach. The proprietors were very welcoming; Simon carried one of my luggage up the stairs for me. I slept on the top floor which required walking up some flight of stairs. Not an issue for me. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was pot for boiling water for coffee or tea. There is a closet with some hangers.

I can't think of anything negative at this time.

Our bedroom was very clean and spacious with plenty of storage space. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was small, but very clean with towels and soap provided. The breakfast was good with cereals, toast, jams, orange juice, scrambled eggs and full English breakfast. The owners are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is about 15/20 minutes' walk from the railway station and the city centre is only a few minutes' walk away. Highly recommended.

Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but room kept very clean and spacious enough. Steph was extremely helpful and offered good advice on how to amuse our 4 year old grandson during our stay and where to eat etc.

We both have health issues and there was a lot of stairs to climb to get to our room and no lift. Our own fault for not requesting a lower room.

We stayed one night with a very vocal 10month old. Nothing was to much. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was amazing. Even the baby had his own portion. Bedroom exactly what was needed. Slept very well. Shower en-suite was perfect. Even had a communal bathroom downstairs if we wanted to bath the baby. So many nice little touches. Very close to the town as well. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we visited torquay.
