I recently stayed at Chhay Long Angkor Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap, and it was fantastic! The staff was incredibly welcoming from the start, greeting me with a nice welcome drink and helping with anything I needed during my stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Pub Street and the Night Market, yet quiet enough to relax. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a lovely traditional style. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. They kept everything in perfect order with daily housekeeping.

Staff/Management were friendly and helpful. The pool was actually cool and refreshing. Close proximity to Pub Street but we often ate at closer eateries in our street. Close to markets. Huge bed.

Our stay was during Khmer New Year’s celebrations. This basically meant parties and water fights in all the streets of Siem Reap…. So not just related to the Chhoy Long. More a warning to check for public holidays and festivals.

Location was great.facilities and pool were good.will definitely stay there again. Check in was good and easy. Was told that hotel can arrange tours and transport for us. Breakfast was also good.

Tried to book transport and tours on the next 2 days however, could not find anyone to organise tuk tuk or tours for us for the next days. There was a lack of anyone who could speak english to help us. There was a lack of pool towels after first day.

All in all, I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff and management were extremely friendly and always available to answer questions or provide assistance. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had great natural light, with a nice view on the pool and the surrounding neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. The hotel is perfectly located, very close to nightlife and markets, yet very quiet night and day. The free airport pickup was convenient, and the hotel helped me arrange a tailor-made multi-day tour of local historical attractions with a great driver. The wifi was reliable and allowed me to work remotely.

Free pick up from airport. Friendly, english speaking staff. Comfortable beds in clean room, with efficient A/C. Hotel gave info about how to visit Angkor Wat, and floating village by Tonlé Sap lake/river. They also have agreement with own Tuk Tuk drivers, which service we rented for hours each day. So the same friendly, reliable man picked us up every day. Very easy, helpful and really good prizing too. Also dining, old market, party possibilities and maassage plazes within 5-10 min walking.

Very friendly hosts, superb value for money less than 3min away from Pub Street, where the main food options are located. Even better, a bread-maker is literally next door, open from 5am, making it easy to buy breakfast before visiting the temples. In short, an unbeatable location in Siem Reap. Breakfast can be served after 7am, if you don’t start too early. The couple managing the hotel is extremely friendly and welcoming, going the extra mile to make it a memorable stay. They gave us great recommendations for visits, including the less-visited spots (since I had already come to Siem Reap a few times previously). The drivers of our 2 Tuk-Tuks were also very friendly and we used them for the 5 days of visits that we spent there… always a smile, always a suggestion, 5* really. Last but not least, the hotel itself has very large rooms, very comfortable beds (firm, but neither too hard nor too soft), clean bathrooms with basic amenities and hair-drier, a safe that is sealed (unlike many smaller hotels in South-East Asia), a pool that must be quite enjoyable in warmer times (we were there during rainy season but managed to take a few dips after long days visiting the Angkor temples)… photos of all these give an accurate picture of the property. Small bottles of water were provided daily after room cleaning (which was always done perfectly), another “plus” point for the property (we went to many mid-range hotels that only give water on the first day) All in all, we can only give the maximum rating for our stay, be it for the friendliness, cleanliness, location, pool, value for money, tuk-tuk drivers for visits… and hope many other travellers consider it as their first choice when looking for accommodation in Siem Reap. We will certainly have it as our 1st choice when coming back, and will not hesitate to recommend it to our friends who want a budget-friendly yet comfortable place. We believe only the most picky travellers will have something to complain about….

The rain that did not allow us to enjoy the pool as much as we had hoped we would… but that’s not something within the managers’ control, and it was to be expected during rainy season!!

breakfast was really poor. Is not a buffet so they give you a bowl of cereal and fruit, a hot drink and french toasts. the breakfast is in the lobby and they don’t have air conditioners, so it was really hot and not comfortable. But despite that, the stuff were nice and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great location and this is always the most important for me. Just few minutes from noisy streets, but at the same time very quiet place. There are many places around to eat local food and have massage. Room was big, bathroom was big, everything worked, hot water, clean and nice in general. Very nice receptionist. Very good choice for little money. I definitely recommend!

It was a hole between door and wall, so we were afraid mosquitos will come through it. Coffee downstairs was really not good at all.

It was all good - location the best - close enough to the Seam Reap centre and far enough to be away from the noise and crowds.

This is a great family run hotel. The hosts, Ponn Kakakda and her husband were very nice and always ready to help. My room was very large with a super comfortable bed. It’s quiet but just around the corner from Pub Street. The pool was crystal clear and so refreshing after a day exploring the temples or city. On-site breakfast is quick and tasty. I highly recommend staying here.
