All of the staff that we encountered were very, very nice. Front desk, dining room, bar, housekeeping were all very friendly. The room was nice. We were on the back of the hotel, with a balcony, which was nice. It was quiet and we had a relaxing view. Could sit outside in the sun in the afternoon. The location of the hotel is quite convenient. It's a short walk to the water and beach, as well as to downtown for shopping and along the boardwalk. The room was clean and cozy.

The only thing I could say is that I'm not a fan of glass doors on the bathroom. Frosted glass or not, I prefer a solid door. But, hey, if that's the worst thing about the room, that's not too bad, is it?

We had such a amazing stay at Alexander Hotel. The rooms were very good, clean and well equipped. All the staff members were very friendly, helpful and everybody understood the meaning of hospitality. We really felt at home! The first evening we had an amazing dinner at Dylans, the second day with enjoyed our Kingsize Sun Lounger at the beach arranged by the hotel and our dinner by sun down at Alexander Beach Club. Picture perfect! It was very nice to use Azzurro’s training facilities during our stay! We will definitely come back!

The only thing was that we weren’t able to turn down the lights under the bed. We covered one with a pillow and the other one was already covered with a band-aid.

Posh, boutique hotel, located within a walking distance from the sea. We got a side sea view room, which was great. Fabulous breakfast.

Our room was very small and so was the bathroom. We could barely walk around our bed. There was some intense, strong perfume in the room that was pleasant for the first thirty minutes, but then it was annoying. We could hear loud street noise through the windows and, despite the fact that the street in front of the hotel underwent reconstruction and a part of it was closed, the traffic - however limited - was still very disturbing. Staff is rather unfriendly and unwelcoming, just strictly professional. I assume they treat celebrities well, but general public is probably ignored. This hotel used to be family-owned and we loved it very much. But this time, we were disappointed.

Great location, very helpful and polite staff, beautiful, spacious room. Breakfast was reasonable and had a good spread, and the spa access for the wellness centre nearby was really good. We especially loved the staff, who were always helpful and explained everything in great detail. Loved the place, and definitely would definitely recommend.

Absolutely stunning room. Shame we only stayed one night would have been great to stay for longer. Gym and pool/steam etc facilities down the road were amazing.

Reception people were great. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. Beef was lovely. Room was fab. Gym was amazing. We had a truly great time. Lovely beach walk and great local restaurants

Excellent location. Staff is really service minded. Room has everything you need. Breakfast is top and the possibility to use the facilities of the sport and swim/wellness center Azzurro (for free) is for us a positive deciding factor. Parking facilities with possibility to park on the arrival date earlier than check in and after check out the remainder of the day are fabulous.

The room was large, spotlessly clean, looked brand new and fancy. Good wifi. On-site parking (at a charge). The staff was attentive and professional. The breakfast was OK - choice was not too wide, but sufficient. I liked the bar and restaurant in the hotel. Coffee maker in the room

Just one thing: there was no desk in the room - not even a small place where I could put a laptop and do some work. The room was large enough to fit several desks, so I do not quite understand what was the room designer thinking. I did not check it beforehand as it seemed kind of obvious. Other room types seem to have it so check beforehand if you need a desk to do some work.

Check in was amazing. Anne (pronounced Ann-ah) was very nice and welcoming. She noticed an oversight in my reservation and made the correction without having to be asked. Had a wonderful room with a great view. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were efficient.

Stayed at Alexander for one night. Great hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. We arrived a couple hours before check-in time and our room was already prepared. So we got to use Azzurro wellness even on the arrival day. It’s a great place to relax. Hotel was very clean and the design is cozy. Breakfast was very tasty. I also do recommend their restaurant, indeed good value for the price.

Great clean rooms, very nice breakfast, enough parking space in the underground garage, close to the beach and beach clubs.

The Azzuro Spa was below expectations. It was not very clean, the sauna, jacuzzi, and main pool were quite cold. But the services and treatment at the spa were very nice.
