PBR is the best place for both business and holidays. I spent my free times at their garden. It was an amazing calmness I felt there. Highly recommended place for everyone!. Rarely watched the peacocks. But I loved that sounds of Heavy sea waves and the birds. It took me another world of nature. Wonderful friendly staff who were very obliging The chef was very happy to cater to the kids requests for special meals which were charged very reasonably too The kids loved the pool and ‘mini water slide’

I understand that the hotel has just reopened but would like to make some suggestions some of which i know are being attended to 1. TV for the room - at least get a few fixed 2. A lift will be required for the less able older generation 3. Few extra amenities- a couple of more teabags and creamers and a tissue box and when it is offered as a triple room - three cups 4. Less restrictions on wading (i understand bathing there maybe dangerous) in the sea

The service and facilities were top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The resort offers a wide range of amenities, including a stunning infinity pool and a cozy bar. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and equipped with AC, cable TV, hot and cold water, and excellent room service. What I loved most was the private balcony with a direct sea view. It was simply breathtaking! All of this luxury comes at an incredibly reasonable price. The easy access to famous sights made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Peacock Beach Resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. The combination of excellent service, comfortable amenities, and a beautiful location make it an outstanding choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I recently had the privilege of staying at the Peacock Beach Resort in Hambantota on the 18th and 19th of October, and I must say, it was an experience that left me truly delighted. From the moment I arrived until my departure, this enchanting beachfront haven exceeded all my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the warm and gracious welcome I received from the staff. The friendly smiles and exceptional service made me feel right at home, creating an atmosphere of genuine hospitality that persisted throughout my stay. The check-in process was swift, and the staff made sure I was well-informed about all the resort's amenities and services. The room I stayed in was a haven of comfort and luxury. The cozy bed, immaculate linens, and tasteful decor provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The view from my room was breathtaking – the serene Indian Ocean stretched out before me, and the soothing sound of the waves became my lullaby each night. One of the highlights of my stay was the delectable culinary experience. The resort's restaurant offered a wide array of mouthwatering dishes, blending local and international flavors. The seafood was particularly outstanding, and I relished every meal as a culinary adventure. The dining staff was attentive and offered excellent recommendations. The resort's pristine beach was the ideal spot for unwinding. I spent hours basking in the sun, taking long walks along the shore, and even tried my hand at some water sports that the resort offered. It was an experience of pure bliss and tranquility. The resort's facilities were top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the spa, where I indulged in a rejuvenating massage that left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. I had a recent stay at Peacock Beach Resort and its service was exceptional, served with delicious food, clean atmosphere, friendly staff, comfy beds. In overall, it exceeded my expectations.

The food is great. Great Value for the money. Friendly staff and very beautiful surroundings. I recommend 3rd-floor rooms to the best view of the sea. The front garden is also pretty scenic.

Better to have an intercom system in the rooms rather than mobile communication.

Service was not great. Staff were very friendly and kind but when I booked a massage over the phone for a bride and when we showed up it was not booked and no one was available because of the new year holiday. I understood the holiday however I wish this was communicated at time of booking as I was lead to believe that I had a booking and when we showed for the appointment it was not available. Requested an international adapter at front desk that never came and no one communicated whether it was available or not. Staff were great at organising transport and tuk tuks to go into town

The hotel and service was average for a vacation, the swimming pools was quite a good experience. They were clean and had a good view of the sea. The rooms were spacious.

There is no room service in this hotel which is like the most important fact for any hotel. The WiFi doesn’t work, nor the TV. The cleanliness is average . The staff service is average. The buffet and the meal is below average for the price.

WC arrangement in my room was not good. Space was not comfortable.
