We were offered a free upgrade upon arrival. The room had a separate bedroom, a living room and a bathroom. There were two balconies to step outside. The view of ocean, harbor, rooftops of neighboring buildings were picture perfect, from both bedroom and living room, with glass doors serving as if frames for masterpiece painting of Hvar harbor. We were completely overwhelmed by the view and the room amenities. We used the public city parking lot in an easy short distance with 2 different supermarkets on the way. There are 2 short stairs to reach the entrance. Drinking water was available at the reception area. There was no elevator but we did not feel inconvenient using stairs. They just felt home. We dined at Mizarola in a minute walk away with excellent seafood risotto and fried calamari. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was some construction for remodeling but we did not hear any noise nor felt any in the air. The room was very quiet. Even with glass doors open the noise from ferries did not make thru due to sufficient distance but only the sound of calming ocean waves and children playing in plaza during day time. We simply enjoyed the stay so much. We will definitely vacation in Hvar again just to stay here again.

The property itself is clean, lovely surrounding, lovely staff and the location is perfect.

The interior of the rooms was still quite old. our room didn’t have working lights, the plugs are incredibly old (even with our converter plug, it would not fit in some of the plugs) and some do not work. The mattresses were not the most comfortable and the food from the restaurant would seep through the windows (although this cannot be helped as there’s a restaurant under the hotel).

A beautiful hotel just a few minutes walk from where the ferry docks in Hvar. A very warm welcome and an excellent room with two balconies overlooking the harbour provided the perfect opportunity to sit with a glass of wine and watch the world go by. Super comfy bed and well appointed throughout. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Will be very happy to return.

N/A - though, just so you are aware, like most of Hvar you will have some steps to climb to reach the lobby.

Lovely hotel, in a great location just in front of the harbour but set back on the hill. The hotel rooms are traditionally deorated and spotlessly clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and there is a pretty restaurant and bar for meals and evening drinks. We couldn't hear any noise in our room from outside even though Hvar at night is quite lively.

There were no plug sockets in our bedroom, and it would have been nice to have a safe in the room.

Location was great and breakfast was good

Concierge staff recommended car rental that was not appropriate i.e car had 400.000 km, was old with ripped seats and tires were bad and negotiated with a child. For this the concierge staff took a fee for accommodating. Expectation for this type of hotel was that a legitimate car rental would be recommended.

Great location to the promenade and wonderful views. Breakfast was wonderful and staff very helpful.

It’s a short walk from parking and there are walking routes with few or more stairs/cobblestones. We had a walking disabled guest and although the hotel offers a porter- he carried the woman’s bags, not our handicapped husband, which was polite but if you are handicapped walk through the town, it’s a flatter route and easier walk.

Beautiful old building in a perfect location great views at the sea, old town and main town square. Such a lovely, pleasant and polite staff, great hospitality, spacious and clean apartment with everything one might need. Nice restaurant and very cute cafe within the hotel.

Internet signal was not good, in the upper part of the apartment almost there was no signal at all. This needs to be improved. Breakfast could be better with more warm pastry, more salads and juices.

It’s a very inviting old building with old time charm and decor. The location is excellent to easy access to all attractions. The rooms were big and bed was very comfortable with good bathroom and shower. What made our stay memorable was its amazing front desk staff, always smiling and eager to serve. I have been on Central European trip for 20 days and by far, this hotel had the best and most helpful front desk.

First off we were upgraded to the nicest room in the hotel! The staff were always helpful and as it turned out we had to stay an extra day because of weather which cancelled the fery service. The hotel staff even called our planned hotel for the next two nights and got us a refund which we were not eligible for. Excellent room, view, facility, and great breakfast, and a wonderful staff that really went out of their way for us!!

Location was exceptional, welcome was lovely our suite was spacious and well equipped and beautiful furnished

The bed ( but it appears to be everywhere in Croatia ) was a little hard for our taste and the only thing we can say we didn’t like was our suite seemed to suffer from cooking smells ( not all the time ) but it was a bit off putting on a few occasions - but it is very central and surrounded by restaurants below and as you walk into reception. As parking isn’t on site you have to factor in the additional cost but overall we were glad we chose to stay here
