We enjoyed the slightly unusual style of this accomodation. The 100 year old building has been converted from a being a hospital and retains its old character. The buildings are very attractive and it has a great view over Huntly. Value for money was exceptional. A large guest lounge. Very friendly and polite host.

We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, perhaps a little small for some people, but it was perfectly fine for us. I viewed one of the larger rooms and they looked excellent in all respects - the bathroom was extremely large.

The location is amazing with views over Huntly and the countryside. The room was reasonably quiet and very spacious. Was fascinating to see fixtures of the original hospital had been left intact and to read about the history of the building too. Would love to come back and stay longer.

Personally the shower was a little small. The sunroom kitchen/dining area felt a little exposed as people could see in.

I was in the "Honeymoon suite" Which was great for size, views and very close to the front door The room and bathroom were so beautiful, clean and airy. I loved the spa bath. The key system is very good, you just swipe. Beautiful grounds. The owners were very easy to contact and helped with getting some sheets for the couch as my son had the bed. We were staying there as my son had school camp at Lakewood lodge and as my son is autistic it was too hard for him to stay in tents and sharing rooms with other kids. This was a wonderful way to get away from camp for the night and also just time away from camp to settle behaviour. ❤️

There was nothing I didn't like. A few things to expect in an older building is that people above the room can be heard walking around.

One of the few places that we know has great service. This time we booked a room with disability access as we required access for a walker. Great ramp access,, decent sized room., very large bathroom. Easy outside the room parking. Friendly staff on arrival showed us to our room. A great bed, had a small kitchenette with small hob under the sink if needed, fridge, toaster, jug, crockery, cutlery etc. Deco suited the style of the building.

The shower didn't have a chair or bench extension if you needed it to shower if you're unable to stand.

The whole place was amazing, warm and safe and elegant but homey and hosts very welcoming. Wonderful views and watched the sun set. A Great place to stay, so much better then travelling on to Hamilton. I will be using Manor Views as my go-to place to stay from now on.

No restaurant however this what not really an issue as plenty of places to get food (Roast meal) in Huntly and take it back to Hotel and room had kitchenette with toaster so made breakfast before leaving.

This place is a gem. The building was once a maternity hospital but has been converted into a boutique hotel. There are a mix of rooms, and the prices have been worked out depending on the size, facilities and views. We went for a cheaper one so we didn’t have a view but that was fine for us. The room was well equipped and the bed comfortable. We could park very close to the room which was an advantage. Manor Views also has shared areas which were bright and airy. We enjoyed our brief stay there.

Manor Views was great but finding a meal in Huntly on a Monday night in winter was tricky. We had a lovely walk around the lake though. 😁

Lovely setting (stayed here 11ys ago), peace & quiet, comfortable bed, nice deck, very clean with great staff. Plenty pillows, I use 4 to sit reading in bed, plenty towels.

Unfortunately the Spa Bath had a big leak so only had the one, where usually I would have 1 a day! These things happen & the staff where very quick to clean it up!

A clean tidy property on the hill with nice views. A perfect stay when you’ve walked a long way. It’s one of the recommended stays for people on Te Araroa trail and I think it’s a goodie - just be sure to get your food before you walk up the hill as I am sure you won’t want to walk back down!

There were two Christian stickers stuck on the walls (one in bathroom and one in the kitchen) but I presume this was done by a previous guest and not the owners, it was too random.

Roomy and quirky 😊 Lovely outlook, clean grounds and space to park safely. A real gem of a place. The space inside our room was big enough for a family, clean and tidy, comfortable and secure. Bathroom is spacious, water is hot (give it time to work through cold pipes!) and lovely toiletries. Kitchenette is better than expected. Just lovely.

We liked it. There was nothing to dislike.

It was great that everyone was able to stay as a group. The ambience was great. What an amazing place—an old hospital! Very lovely old house.

The toilet/ shower arrangement in 111 was very poky, and the mirror was WAY too high to use. Also, one of the party thought that the curtains in their room probably needed a good clean or at least a good vacuum to clear the dust. They suffer from hay fever and it was aggravated during our stay.
