The staff overall were lovely and so friendly. :) The young guy at breakfast was so accommodating and very polite, offered an alternative tea as the rest ran out! Breakfast was great and very hot and you could tell it was local fresh produce. Bed was so comfortable and loved our room. Location was perfect, central to everything. Would definitely stay again!
A few minor things but no big deal - A bit run down and needs a bit of TLC. Kettle in our room was filthy when we checked in and was not changed after we mentioned it but we saw the cleaner and she changed it immediately for us but no big deal. Check in could be more informative and warm on arrival. Our room was not made up whilst we were there, would have been nice to have it fresh when we came back after a long day.

A friendly couple who were trying to refurbish their rooms after water damage. The bed was very comfortable. I slept like a log.
This isn’t a dislike list, more a snag list for the owners to attend to before more guests arrive. 1. No remote for TV 2. No plug in the wash basin 3. The net curtains don't draw all across the windows 4. Lovely shower, however there's nothing to stop water settling on the bathroom floor next to the toilet. 5. The young man doing breakfast just needs to judge where his customers are on their breakfast. I had just poured my cornflakes and my probably pre-plated English Breakfast arrived far too soon.

The Vines is a lovely property well furnished in the bar/restaurant area, the ground are beautiful with apple, pear, fig trees and grapevines. The resident cats are very friendly too. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, the cooked breakfast was perfect and very hot, a great selection of cereals and jams/honey, and juice. The area where the hotel is located is beautiful and perfect for visiting and exploring the Cotswolds.
Everything was lovely, the staff were so attentive and would have dealt with any issues you may have had.

Great room, nice and warm with comfortable bed. Small bathroom but had everything we needed. Nice welcome from the owner Ian and great service from the young man at breakfast (sorry didn’t get his name). Lovely cooked breakfast, perfect size and nice and hot, also plenty of other breakfast food on offer , porridge pots, toast, cereal, juices, teas, coffee etc. would recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you
A minor issue but no hair dryer in the room. We were in Room 1 in main building which was a great room. Only slight issue was such thin walls and could hear every word noisy neighbour in adjoining room was saying. This is more of a reflection on the noisy person I guess than the hotel, which was excellent

I was allocated room 3 which is in the main building facing the front. It was a large double and was very comfortable. The bedding was clean and crisp; the bed was great especially as I have back problems; the shower room was good - the shower hot; towels big and fluffy; toiletries lovely. there were adequate options for tea/coffee although I found the cups a little on the small side - 1 teabag served 3 cups! Hairdrier good and iron & board in the room. All in all I had a comfortable stay. My brother and son were in 2 rooms in the annexe and had the same levels of comfort I had. Both very happy with the facilities provided. We all had a full english for breakfast - our order taken and served at the table. so much better than a buffet. It was well cooked and served hot - local produce by the taste so all good. Plenty of options for continental as well - compliments to the chef! Would definately stay again when visiting the area.
The car patk could do with some lighting - it was very wet when we visitied and it was difficult to avoid puddles in the dark. Also, my brother's wing mirror was scraped which better lighting may have prevented. However, I realise this needs to be balanced against the need for guests to enjoy dark nights for sleeping. I couldn't get the tv in my room to work and it was too late to ask for assistance. I did mention it to the landlord on check out .

Regularly use The Vines Hotel for colleagues flying into/out of Brize. The management are exceptionally accommodating with our bookings and always go the extra mile to get us the best options available and also adapt to changing circumstances with the flight times. Location is great for us, staff above and beyond, food great can't compliment enough for their can do attitude to some of our requests as Business travellers, anything can happen and they still come up with an excellect service.
Following regular bookings over the past year for colleagues, I have heard nothing but good things and no one has yet given any negative feedback, only positive.

The place is really quiet and the staff were very friendly. They were very accommodating and let me move rooms when I had a problem with the shower. Also I had dinner one night there and the food was amazing
The original room I had, had a an old fashion shower like a wet room and it was too high for me to use. Also the shower and bathroom needs updating. The main room bathrooms the showers were more modern. The owner did mention how they were on the process of updating the bathrooms which will make a huge difference.

We had a room with a patio, clean room. A quiet location. Good breakfast provided.
There were concrete planters placed in front of the rooms where we were, full of weeds. The shower leaked over the floor and there was a poor finish to the decorations. That said we know there's a change of management going on and the maintenance team were there to work at updating the buildings.

Stayed here a few times due to flights being delayed. Landlord is very accommodating and the staff are brilliant! A stones throw from Brize base if you are stranded! Every time I have been allowed a late checkout. Food is absolutely gorgeous. Very quiet area and country pub. 5 minutes drive from the town if you need provisions or you can just walk out the door for a countryside walk. I would absolutely stay here even if it wasn’t because of a delayed flight!
