Everything was top notch: -Nice range of breakfast offerings and a lovely garden restaurant to enjoy breakfast in -Spacious room with a fantastic view; kept very clean throughout our stay, fresh linen and towels every day; the air con works very well too and there is high speed wifi throughout the hotel -Really enjoyable spa services, we tried the mix&match package, the back massage and facial I received were very relaxing -The rooftop pool is adults only which is perfect for couples, the music played is very relaxing and there is sunbeds service with cocktails and food available -The service throughput the hotel was impeccable, from reception to room service, restaurants and the lot - really lovely staff, always friendly, polite and happy to help -The rooftop restaurant has unbelievable views, especially during sunsets -The Italian hotel offers great food and you get 10% off from every bill as a guest of the hotel -The hotel overall is beautiful, very clean and smells very nice at all times -The beautiful Ghadira/Mallieha Bay beach is only 3 stops away on the bus, there are also lots of shops and restaurants around the hotel

The hotel was very cheap as I traveled out of season, but it still provided us with all the luxury expected from 4-star hotel. The gym was spacious, the sauna was nice, there is also a heated pool and a jacuzzi... The room was large, clean and well-lit, the bathroom had a bath. An all-round great experience.

The village is a bit small so there is not much to do, the buses tend to be unreliable so it's hard to travel, and the food in Malta is not great overall... but the hotel itself is lovely.

Very good breakfast at €11 per person. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were polite and very helpful and there was plenty of seating to relax. The outside pool, sun terrace and garden were very nice. The rooftop pool was excellent with great views.

Shower in the bath - The shower was located in the bath and the controls were problematical as it was difficult to use accurately without unintentionally opening the drench head and the bath was very narrow. People with poor balance may have found it difficult to use. A better option would have been to remove the bath and replace it with a spacious shower - there was plenty of room.

Where to start, what a fantastic stay. 5 stars. We had a double (2 single) room with a balcony facing the street, the beds and pillows were probably the most comfortable beds I have had during a hotel stay. The balcony is big, not a ton of privacy as they overlook other balconies. The street is loud at night however when you close the balcony door you cannot hear the noise, the room has good air conditioning and blackout curtains. Pools- the rooftop pool was fantastic, it is adult only which is one of the reasons I booked it. Table service is good and you are waited on amazingly by bar staff. The garden pool looks nice (child friendly) but we didn’t use it. The indoor pool was okay too. The spa looks lovely but we also didn’t use it during our stay. Food- the rooftop bar food is amazing, but a little expensive. The pizza is delicious as is the curried tuna wrap. 100% recommend. We didn’t eat breakfast there so I can’t comment. The location is great, lots of little restaurants around the hotel, we recommend Gems across the street for a good and cheap breakfast and The Hilltop for a good meat platter. Everything was super clean! Housekeepers were daily and great. Overall a great stay!

The bathroom could do with a little renovation, it was okay but it would be nice if they updated the shower to something a bit more modern. The toilet makes a lot of noise and the bathroom doors aren’t very good.

Indoor pool: - water quite cold - not enough pool lounge chairs, people would leave their clothes on the floor - one evening a guy (staff) came screaming and was rude with all of us because there were kids in the pool area. Apparently, kids are not allowed at the pool past 7 pm and all the families with kids (80%) had to leave. Problem was his attitude and none of us were informed at check in about this policy.

Breakfast is well worth the money, a great choice and plenty of it, cheaper than eating in a restaurant as long as one takes advantage of what's on offer. Public transport is good and cheap, much cheaper than taking the organised tours as long as one doesn't mind standing now and again. for example, a organised trip to Gozo is 75 euro pp, on public transport inc ferry crossing came in at less than 20 euro for two

The room was OK but smaller than expected, a mirror for dressing, make up etc would have been nice. The noise from the traffic, day and night can be very disturbing, coaches and buses parked outside the hotel with their engines left running was a particular nuisance especially as on arrival, we were asked to pay a fee towards the environment.

Breakfast was amazing, lovely food continental, fry, lots of fruit and vegetables, yogurts, milks and with different choices of cakes and sweets treats every day. We loved the location, although a bit far from the main cities, it was perfect for our itinerary which included traveling to Gozo and Comino and have a fun day at the Popeye village (brilliant). Lots of very good restaurants with plenty of choices for food, from traditional Maltese to Asian etc... very well connected with the rest of the island through a frequent network of buses (traffic unfortunately is very heavy)

Nothing, we were lucky with the weather despite going on off season. In fact it was very easy to go around without big crowds

The hotel is located one minute away from the airport bus stop and a ride to and from the airport costs only 2€. It’s surrounded by multiple restaurants, it also has three restaurants. In the midst of various touristic agencies, and facilities. Just 18 minutes ride by bus to the ferry terminal to visit the Blue Lagoon and Gozo islands. 1 hr away from Valette by bus. An amazing hotel! Extremely friendly staff! Clean area and very big and beautiful hotel. Excellent communication. I totally recommend. The hotel upgraded my room for my first stay and provided a baby bed for our baby. I could keep writing on and on. Total value for money! Highly recommended 😊.

I had a pleasant stay at Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa. Overall, the hotel is very well maintained, with excellent cleanliness. A special thanks to the housekeeping staff who took great care of my room with professionalism. The facilities are high quality: the indoor pool with a jacuzzi is a great bonus, and the rooftop view as well as the sea view from the room are simply stunning. It truly adds to the relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The only downside is the underground parking. I strongly advise travelers not to use it, as it is extremely narrow and poses a high risk of damaging your vehicle—unfortunately, this happened to me. It’s better to look for an alternative parking option nearby.

It's my second time at the Maritim in a short period, and I mostly stand by my earlier review. The rooms are lovely, well-equipped and clean. Staff are efficient and courteous. The gym and indoor pool quickly became an important part of my daily healthy routine. The location is a mixed bag depending on what you're after, but there's a fair choice of restaurants, convenience shops and other amenities within walking distance nearby. WiFi was generally good except once (more on this below). The price was excellent as I booked in low season.

This was a longer stay and I experienced a few minor mishaps which are to be expected and which were quickly sorted with the reception. I also did not appreciate the WiFi dying out one evening while I was in the middle of a call over the internet (the speed dropped so much that it was measured in kbps at that time). And this time, I was given a room (two actually, as I had to change the first one) with a balcony facing the busy street, which was neither nice nor quiet (turns out the room I had before, on the other side of the hotel, which in my last review I referred to as being a bit distant, was much better). There isn't much point in a balcony if it's facing dozens of other balconies and you get to hear all the unpleasant realities of Maltese traffic; I never used it in fact.
