The hotel was very well situated opposite the harbour. Several minutes away was a selection of very good restaurants. It is close to the ferry to Valletta and private ferries to Gozo and Comino. Breakfast was comprehensive, good quality and varied. A selection of fruit, yoghurt and cereals. A variety of cooked meats accompanied by prepared salad. Hot options included bacon, sausage, mushrooms, scrambled eggs and beans Drinks included orange and peach juice, tea, and a variety of coffees. Toast and breads, on several days pastries were available. There was also food available to order. The room was excellent, very clean and serviced daily. Unfortunately we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel so we didn't get a view over the harbour as expected. However the description 'boutique' did reflect the room well. The room included a hairdryer, toiletries, TV with English channels, Wi-Fi and coffee/tea maker. The bed was extremely comfy and air conditioned. The hotel had a restaurant with balcony seating area. It served drinks from late afternoon with or without food. There was a lovely inside swimming pool on the 11th floor.

It would have made a significant difference had we been allocated a room at the front with a view over the harbour and this would have given it a 5* status. Some of the systems are still emerging and our final account included someone else's restaurant bill; something to keep your eye on!

We loved everything! Location, staff, food, our room's view, etc. We can only hope to return soon!

We were given a room on the 10th floor, so the views were unparalleled. The staff are very attentive, and nothing is too much. Breakfast is varied in terms of both food and drinks. Rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Location is ideal for morning and evening walks around Sleima, or for a ferry, bus, or taxi to Valetta.

The bedroom was very warm each evening, as it faced the sun all day. However, the air-conditioning was set to one temperature, with heating turned on for the whole building. We were therefore unable to use the air-con to cool the room, so we ended up having to leave the balcony door open, especially at night. It wasn't ideal as the noise from the road did carry, but it was better than sleeping in a warm room. We did ask for a fan, but one wasn't available.

The hotel is perfectly located at the quieter end of Sliema with superb views across to the old city of Valletta across the water and lots to watch from the balcony as ferries and boats go to and fro. The buffet breakfast includes also extra dishes to order from the kitchen as well as good coffee from the machine on request. The lovely smiling Marleny is an extra pleasure at breakfast, keeping an eye on everything with friendly efficiency.

We only dined one evening in the hotel restaurant and it was very noisy, though the food was very good.

Everything, there was nothing to dislike. From arrival to checkout, we enjoyed our stay, it made the holiday perfect. Reception staff were great, our room (deluxe double with sea view), was very clean and spacious. The room facilities were very good. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of choice, what made the breakfast was the greeting with a lovely smile each day from Marleny, nothing was too much trouble.If we return to Malta, this is the hotel we would choose without doubt. Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Great hotel to do sightseeing in Malta. The location in Sliema is excellent, just a short ferry ride from Valletta and very conveniently placed for any other excursion you might want to take, as all the buses and tours pick you up at the Sliema ferry. The hotel staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great - special thanks go to Marleny and Andrea! The room spacious and clean with a very nice view of Valletta, good shower, comfortable bed. Soundproof windows, so no noise from the busy street. We particularly liked the pool and spa at the 11th floor, with two small saunas (Finnish / Turkish) - great for relaxing after a long day trip. We also appreciated that the hotel provides water filling stations on every second floor so that you do not have to rely on buying plastic water bottles all the time.

Nothing serious, but a few small things could make the stay even better. For instance, we were missing a few more hooks in the bathroom and a place to hang the towels so that the staff does not have to change them every day. Also, unfortunately the design of the toilet is such that you always have to brush after use. That's why it is really important that the toilet brush is kept very clean. At breakfast, a larger variety of jams and fresh fruit would have been nice. As said, nothing that could not be easily fixed.

The most impressive at the Land's End Boutique Hotel is the incredible views on the Bażilika Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Karmnu, Valletta, Manoel Island and Sliema shoreline. The reception staff during our stay was exceptional. They make you feel at home and are helpful with any reasonable request that they can resolve within their own expertise. I have rarely seen such dedicated staff. The room was clean and the toiletries were of excellent quality. The rooms were cleaned daily and were very clean. The living room which is available to guests free of charge is another optional service. During the opening hours of the lounge, there are always snacks and drinks available for guests to enjoy. The in-house swimming pool on the eleventh floor invites you to relax and swim and like all other areas, it is very clean. Although the hotel is located on a very busy corner of Sliema, our room was quite quiet and was equipped with almost everything a traveler could wish for, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, and a very good fridge. There are plenty of power sockets and there are even USB ports by the beds for charging your cell phone or tablet.

There was nothing I didn't like, but there is always room for improvement. I have two suggestions for improvement. The first would be a few more hooks to hang towels and bathrobes in the bathroom. The second is to have the towels and bathrobes washed by a cleaning company that is able to give the laundry a fragrance that matches the Molton Brown care products. The disinfectant scent undoubtedly shows that the laundry is sterile, but it's not really great.

- good location on the seafront, between the ferry port and a shopping mall, with lots of small restaurants/bars nearby - friendly and helpful staff - spacious room with a big balcony and a big bathroom - very nice view from the balcony - adequate storage space - coffee/tea machines and fridge in the room - good breakfast

- an extracting fan in the bathroom, starting and stopping at the same time as the bathroom light. It was pretty noisy and bothersome, especially when using the bathroom at night - the restaurant's service and menu could have been better

The hotel is in a great location. Easy access to public transport and the ferry to Valletta. The views are amazing. Modern, clean, well equipped rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, food of a very high quality. The hotel restaurant was very good with views of the bay. Room service was fast and efficient. Food from the restaurant was great. A fantastic experience with thanks to all the staff. I'll be back hopefully.

Nothing to dislike.

The hotel is in an excellent location near bus stops and the ferry for Valletta, so great location as a base for exploring the island. The food in the hotel is very good and the bar is fantastic for relaxing for a drink in the evening. Staff were all friendly and helpful, with a warm smile when you entered the hotel. Having been to Malta before we didn't need to ask questions about getting around, but I feel they would have been helpful with this. Our room had a lovely view of the bay and overto Valletta and the balcony was big enough for us to sit out in the evening and watch the sunset comfortably. The room also has a mini fridge which worked. Drinking fountains were available on several floors.

The curtains in the room didn't entirely cover the window so let in a lot of light. As we were here in January it wasn't an issue in the morning, but it could bother a light sleep in the summer. The aircon was also a little brutal for winter, so we opted to sleep with the balcony door open. We found breakfast was expensive (€19 each) and the restaurant was expensive in the evening, so we only ate there once as a treat.
