This is my second time at Wyndham Duchally My family and I went and we enjoyed and loved every day we spent at the cottage The reception staff dealt with us from the first day. They were friendly and understanding
Every thing was berfect till the last day, One day before our leaving date, my father went to talk to one of the reception staff about delaying our departure for only one hour. The employee agreed to his request and put a note on the reception desk, but we were surprised the next day by the cleaning lady hitting the door forcefully before 10 am and speaking to us in a rude and racist manner, and she did not respect our privacy. She did not respect us and we told her that we had already notified one of your employees that we would leave at 11 o’clock, but she continued to speak in a rude manner, and did not even make us finish our breakfast, which we had already cooked and that we wanted to eat before leaving at 11 o’clock.

Our lodge had 3 excellent comfortable bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. Spacious lounge/ dining area for 7 adults plus a toddler. . Fully stocked kitchen with plenty crockery, cutlery & glasses. Great to have starter pack of groceries although I wasn't aware it was included prior to arrival. Every member of staff was superb & all requests dealt with immediately. Excellent dinners in Monteath's restaurant & the bar, again with exceptional friendly staff. Sauna & steam room were nice & hot! Lovely views from lodge towards the hotel especially when dark as fairly lights on the trees.
Swimming pool was a bit cold & changing rooms a little tired. The living room furniture & kitchen cupboards & appliances were also a little tired.

The lodge itself was spacious, clean and well equipped. Lovely grounds, nice spa area. We had good breakfasts and a great dinner one of the evenings.
Bed mattresses were a bit thin/tired, so not the most comfortable. No blackout curtains in bedrooms, so very light in the mornings. The spa was quite busy a lot of the time with families with children, so not restful or relaxing. Also, we had the gardeners with a noisy blower outside our lodge for much of the afternoon which made it impossible to rest or have a nap. Avoid staying here on a Tuesday if you're looking for a quiet space - it's their gardening day!

Lovely location, and close to Gleneagles etc. Restaurant very good - food was excellent. Staff, especially the lady at reception very good. Our lodge was spacious and comfortable - comfy beds, big full bathrooms, and the lounge area and balcony is big. And everything was very clean. All in all an excellent stay in a well managed estate, will definitely be back.
During our 4-day winter stay the pool (including steam room & jacuzzi) was very busy, so much so after 10min we left. (They allow day visitors which seems to bring in quite a few people.) Personally we did not care about the lack of use of pool but if you're specifically booking here to use the pool facilities, be aware its busy. Our lodge's kitchen could have done with a few more storage/cooking dishes (there was one Pyrex dish and one salad bowl)

I recently stayed at the Wyndham Duchally Country Estate and had an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The accommodations were spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views of the Scottish countryside. The comfortable bed and serene atmosphere provided the perfect setting for a restful getaway. I especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the on-site restaurant, which served delicious, locally-sourced dishes. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, ensuring a perfect start to each day. The estate's location is perfect for exploring the natural beauty of Scotland. The peaceful walking trails on the grounds and nearby outdoor activities like hiking and golfing made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Wyndham Duchally Country Estate exceeded my expectations. It's a fantastic destination for anyone seeking relaxation and adventure in a picturesque setting. I look forward to returning soon!

We had a very spacious twin room with balcony looking out onto pretty gardens. The beds were super comfortable and everything including the bathroom was immaculate and well presented. The surrounds of the hotel were very peaceful and with the sun shining, we were able to take full advantage of relaxing on the balcony. The staff were also very obliging.
Whilst breakfast was enjoyable, and I'm being picky here, if you're someone who likes a cosy, stylish room, the breakfast room was slightly stark, lacking ambience (but may I add, very attentive staff!)

the large size room. the feel of it being a grand country estate. the surrounding grounds are lovely.
our room wasn’t properly prepared. a double bed was provided instead of two singles. (quickly remedied). the bar man was quite surly as though it was too much effort to provide my drink. a nauseating fuel smell permeated the dining room in the morning making it very unpleasant to be in that space and enjoy the very nice breakfast.

Big rooms, clean, great food, Brenda the massage lady is great, pool is poor, steam room etc good. Great grounds for walking and family's with young kids have games room and outdoor area next to beer garden.
Price of drinks is outrageous. Also watch if you're staying half board the dinner is only to the value of £25pp and most main courses are ib the £16 to £30pp so you'll end up with further charges.

The hotel is very private and away from any main roads. Set in beautiful grounds that are exceptionally well maintained and to have a wander in. The spa, although I didn't use it, looks good, as does the gym. The lodges looked very well maintained also. We stayed in the hotel our room was beautiful and very large, as was the bathroom, all Elemis products, which were lovely. We also had a balcony which was really spacious and I had my morning coffee sitting out on it, watching some red Squirrels running around the gardens. Staff were really friendly and helpful as I'd forgot my hair tie and they managed to source one for me, in the very late evening. All in all a wonderful stay, and I'd like to think I'll will have the chance to be back
There's nothing I didn't like. A much bigger bath would have been great, but the one in bathroom was adequate, with a rainfall shower. I just like big baths.

Accommodation was plentiful and offered everything to a very good standard. It would be nice to view and choose the location of villas available a booking. I'd have preferred a first-floor balcony and with a different view too.
The layout, seating and general feel of the whisky bar/restaurant area was not as endearing as I felt it would be. With the view and opportunity in such a space, I believe decoration and interior design would bring this to life. Equally. while quite pleasant, I feel an expert in interior design would transform this and really make a wow statement for the hotel. The games room is a big letdown. It looks and feels like it has been thrown together with little real care to the audience - come on, you can do much better here.
