Location, large comforable too, great meal at The Terrace and lovely breakfast, fantastic grounds.

absolutely loved the Victorian baths but felt there should not have been an extra cost for this. It's most as if we were being penalised for not having children.

We very much enjoyed the spa especially the pool and the gym. We loved the various seating areas and cafes throughout the complex. We sat a lot in the balcony restaurant (the one that overlooks the garden). Breakfast was nice and plentiful and my friend loved the porridge while I appreciated the muesli that had been soaked overnight. That is not something you find everywhere.

The single room was a bit pokey and there wasn't anywhere comfortable to sit except on the bed. The room was adequate if you did not need to spend much time there but it was not suitable for me and my friend to sit together for long. Also I was working some of the time and the desk/dressing table was really crowded during those times when I had my laptop out and also my personal stuff.

We have visited the Hotel many times over 20 years, and we like everything about. Our visit this time was for my wife’s 60th birthday, and as a treat we stayed in a Signature double, room 92, and it was absolutely superb.

The only thing was I thought the temperature of the hot water to the main bath needs to be increased, I understand it is probably preset for H&S reasons, but personally I like a hot bath and it is on tepid at best. However the shower was absolutely fine, as was the water temp to the WHB. Other than that we couldn’t fault it. It certainly didn’t spoil our weekend.

Breakfast was amazing beautiful setting and delicious food spoilt for choice. Room was a great size and comfortable Staff were exceptional

small shop selling things your likely to forget such as toiletries would be a great addition and for the kids there wasn’t much selection of snacks and chocolate/sweets crisps the local shops and high street aren’t far though it felt like leaving our holiday leaving the resort though l

A very large hotel with plenty of facilities with really friendly and efficient staff.

Our room was large, warm and very comfortable. However we had problems with the hot water which was only luke warm in the evening. We did report it to reception who did offer us another room, but after travelling all day we decided we didn’t want all the hassle of unpacking. The water was hotter in the morning but then we discovered trying to maintain a constant temperature in the shower was an art form beyond our ability level! We did report all this as we wanted to make sure they sorted it out prior to the next guests using the room.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of everything. The room was clean and bright. The bathroom was very good and being able to switch off the fan when not required was a bonus.

There was the sound of music from 6 o'clock both mornings and again on Friday evening from 9.45 pm when we came back into the room until midnight like tekno drum base. I mentioned this to the reception staff when we left on Saturday. They thought it might be from another room and we should have reported it. We could hear the music faintly outside the dinning room on Saturday morning. I thought it was coming from the kitchen In room 135.

Range of choices for breakfast were excellent as was the quality of food. The room was comfortable and dinner was very good.

We arrived on 12 Sept and booked a table for two for dinner that evening. When we arrived at the Terrace we found that we were booked in for dinner on the 14th. Staff hastily and efficiently arranged a table for us but there were a few uncertain moments for us. Were we going to be fed?

Crieff Hydro is in an excellent location in Perthshire with lots of places to visit nearby. It is situated in beautiful grounds and we enjoyed walking around and admiring all the specular views. The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and friendly. The bedroom was lovely - spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the food - there was lots of choice and it was of a high standard. The best part of our weekend stay was visiting the Victorian baths - a perfect place to relax and unwind.

The weekend we stayed was very busy in the hotel as it was the end of the October break and therefore had lots of families staying, plus there was a wedding on the Saturday. This meant it was very noisy in the dining areas and we were right beside the area where there was entertainment for children. The only bar we could find was packed. We went downstairs to the Terrace restaurant and bar, but again it was busy and not the relaxing ambience that we had hoped for. This is a very large resort and were slightly overwhelmed with the scale of it.

We had an excellent short stay, travelling with my sister and my son. We had two rooms, a feature twin and a small, single room. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. As we spent most of our time outdoors in the town of Crieff, we did not have the opportunity to make use of all the facilities of the Hydro but will do so on our next visit. Excellent breakfast and mostly pleasant staff throughout. Special thanks to Ross (check-in) and Aidan (Meikle Bar Captain) for their excellent service and courtesy.

Not the fault of the hotel itself, which is located at the top of quite a steep hill, but we found it impossible to find a taxi in the town of Crieff, day or night, and we then had to walk up the steep hill to the hotel in two occasions. This slightly detracted from our stay. As mentioned, it’s not the fault of the hotel itself but a point that non-driving guests should be aware of when visiting the main town of Crieff in the evenings. Downhill, it’s no more than a 10-15mins walk. But rather steep on the return jaunt!

This was the MurrayPark Hotel. It was so welcoming and was very dog friendly. The staff were excellent-friendly and professional. The food was exceptional. Dinner and Breakfast-quality food presented really well. Flavours and choice excellent. The gardens were perfect for a dog to run around as all walled and lots of space and interesting areas to smell!

Nothing, except possibly would have been easier with bags if there was a lift.
