Decent place, nice pool and friendly staff.

The sheets were a little smelly due to humidity, considering other resorts though, we expected this one to be better due to higher prices.

It was my first time in Bali and for my stay in Ubud, I was sceptical about picking a hotel that was a 10 min drive from the centre. But Honai resort exceeded my expectations. The room was immaculate, spacious, clean with both a shower and a huge bathtub for 2, and all toiletries that we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfy. A fridge with snacks and refreshments in affordable price. Breakfast was a la carte and really tasty. The breakfast area was open-space, overviewing the rice fields. An amazing view to start your day with. There were a lot of free events scheduled on the resort, but unfortunately due to our busy schedule, we could not join. The staff was very helpful. But the amazing part was the landscape of the resort. It was as if the bungalows were in a forest.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I loved everything about the resort. Though it was mid-September in Ubud, I felt a bit chilly at night, likely because the resort is surrounded by lush tropical plants. The atmosphere was fantastic, with great vibes, delicious meals, and exceptional hospitality. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to escape city life. There’s a free shuttle service to Ubud city center, or you can take a GRAB ride for just a few dollars. However, the resort’s services are so wonderful that you might find yourself wanting to spend the whole day here, simply rejuvenating your soul.

Some additional lighting along the walkway or staircase from the yoga shala would be helpful, as it's quite dim at night. Other than that, everything is perfect! perfect for couple stay and college team building.

It’s a nice boutique resort hidden just 3km away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud Center. The room is clean, spacious, and the bathroom is amazing. The resort provides you with candle, bath salt, bubble that actually bubbling, and aromatic oil. Pool area is nice too with decent size of pool and sundeck. No big breakfast spread but they serve enough options of savory and sweet. Couple of things though, use bigger glass for the fresh juice and don’t put sugar in the porridge. Ps. The spa is excellent too, tried the massage and I love it

The property itself is very charming, it’s not too far from the city centre but far enough from the busy and chaotic that’s Ubud. The villa’s are very spacious and have great facilities. The staff are really amazing, and also the restaurant served really amazing dishes.

The only thing i find is cleanliness, i was going to use the bidet but there was some marks left on it. So you can imagine what it was, which is quite disappointing. Also the decorative pillow that was put on our bed, in the exception of the sleeping pillows, we can tell that its not been washed because of the smell.. and the room was a little dusty.

I spent three very pleasant nights at Honai Resort. In terms of location, the hotel is far from the noisy Ubud Center. However, there are supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. Also, the hotel provides three free shuttle services to the city center every day. The hotel offers a selection of breakfasts, which are abundant and delicious. In addition, the hotel has a swimming pool and yoga classes that guests can participate in. I'm extremely grateful to NOPEY. He was very enthusiastic and offered me a lot of help. When my slippers broke, he kindly tried to glue them for me. When I checked out, he give us gifts for blessing, I like it very much. I had a wonderful time here.

- Breakfast is absolutely delicious, several options and all friendly to dietary issues. - Lunch/Dinner menu also has both western and eastern options for all tastes - Staff are wonderful, especially Nopey at reception. - The resort is relaxing, and peaceful. The spa menu had lots of options and was more expensive than you get elsewhere but well worth it. - Location is good, 10min taxi to the centra area in Ubud and a short drive from other attractions (Monkey forest, rice fields, etc) - Room is beautiful, giant bathtub with bubbles provided.

Only a handful of pool loungers but it wasn't an issue when we stayed!

Our flight was delayed, and we arrived three hours later than expected. Despite this, all nine of us were warmly welcomed, and we were immediately impressed by the resort's incredible atmosphere. The dinners were delicious, the breakfasts were outstanding, and the lunches were equally delightful. What stood out most was Ikar (I hope I spelled her name correctly), who remembered all nine of our names without needing to check our room numbers—an example of top-tier service! The views from our rooms, whether on the ground floor or the first floor, were stunning. The overall vibe of the resort is incredibly relaxing, thanks to its beautiful surroundings of tropical plants. Words can't express how grateful we are for the exceptional service provided by the hotel.

The dinner sauces were a bit on the salty side, but hey, we're here to eat, drink, sleep, and relax! One small suggestion: it would be great to have additional lighting along the walkway or stairs from the yoga shala, as it gets quite dim at night.

There were only 12 rooms so you had your own space and it didn’t feel crowded. The staff were amazing, even little touches like “welcome home” when you got back. One staff member in particular, Anga; who was our guide for a day tour at rice fields, water temple, waterfall , coffee Forrest and rice fields was so great giving us all the info about Bali and even showed us his village, made sure we were looked after well, even picked up a bottle of locally made drink in his village after he found out we liked it. Amazing! The massages were great and really reasonably priced

Everything from the moment zero until the checkout was perfect. Even though it is a 4-star hotel, it feels like a 5-star (can tell by experience). What was good: + Breakfast is nicely elaborated with a lot of variety and super delicious; + Staff is always super friendly and willing to give tips either related to the hotel or with Bali; they know how to respect and treat you; + They do the extra to make you feel welcome, even putting the robe on the bed suggesting you to try it; they put 4 bottles of water every day on the room; + The facilities are super green and beautiful, and also smells good everywhere; + There is a free shuttle 3 times a day to the city center, even though it's cheap to go to the city center; + Free repellent on the rooms and not a single bite during 5 night-stay. + Free yoga classes 4 times a week! So yea... You MUST stay here. This is your relaxing moment, take it. What are you waiting for?@
