We stayed at the Melia during our 17 hours layover and it was perfect. Mohamed at the front desk was great and helpful. I had asked for a crib for our toddler - the crib was already in the room when we checked in and they had added an extra comforter on top of the mattress so my son could be comfortable. After a long haul flight putting my toddler to sleep so easily for much appreciated.

It is a bit tricky to get to coming from Terminal 2E but once on CDG Val it isn’t too far.

The hotel staff was wonderful! They were kind and helpful when we were exhausted from a long day of travel. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were very quiet. We had an early flight, so we were able to walk to the CDGVAL shuttle train to Terminal 1 in less than 10 minutes.

The shower is located out in the room. It is awkward if you are traveling with other friends/family members. We had to take off our clothes in the shower because there was nowhere private to change. The glass was frosted, but still too transparent for our taste. On a different note, it was a very nice shower!:)

Almost everything was OK - the room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the staff was polite and did their job. Location is OK and the hotel is a good choice for a stay for if you have long time for your transfer flight.

I had to pay a deposit fee. I hate this hotel policy - it's like you don't trust your customers: "You will break something, so pay a deposit first and if you don't break, you'll get a refund." Sorry, but this attitude to your customers is ugly and I will not stay in this hotel never again. The bathroom was in fact part of the room - no door, the steam from the shower covered all the room and I could not enjoy the hot shower. Very strange interior design decision which you can find In a lot of modern hotels today.

It's brand-new, so everything is clean and working well. Comfy mattress and very hot shower. Room was very small, which is strange given that it's not a ventrally located residential area.

It's near the terminal, but you do need to take a shuttle train and then walk about ten minutes. They have done a good job creating a covered walkway that passes by the many hotels in this area, but it's still a walk, and not necessarily a smooth one that's easy on suitcase wheels. Price is also not on the low side compared with 'airport hotels' in other European capitals. Not good value for money.

Location near the CDGVAL shuttle train, good blackout curtains on the window, good selection of food at the restaurant, large and comfortable bed, and funky decor. The layout of the bedroom and bathroom was unusual but practical, with lots of lighting. We like to take the stairs between floors and found them wide and well-lit with large windows to the outside. All in all, a great experience and we would stay here again.

The digital check-in machine was not working, but the front desk staff were so helpful that the machine glitch was irrelevant.

The staff are nice and friendly. Just 5 min walk from cdgval shuttle parking PR station. The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. We had to pay 3€ for a pair of room slippers

The room was exactly like in the photos. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, beautiful with a great view. It is in CDG airport, at the PR parking (if you take the CDGVal), so it was easy to go to my terminal (T2) the next day, especially since my flight was at 10am. The food was great, even though there wasn't enough choice on the menu. Overall, it felt very comfortable:).

Some of the staff were a little off. They were acting like they don't care about you. Only the waiters and the cleaning staff were actually cool, but the people at the reception were really mean.

The place was nice and my wife and I enjoyed our 7 days stay. The restaurant was good and the service was friendly.

We were not happy about two things: 1. The 250USD refundable deposit we had to pay. We have NOT yet received the refund two weeks later today. 2. We made a second booking 10 days later but did not show up due to flight cancellation. Wd appealed for refund consideration even if it's only partial. The hotel refused. We felt granting us a refund, no matter how little could have helped strengthened the relationship building.

Modern and clean, well laid out room with renovated shower and comfortable bed.

While the hotel was near the airport via the transit train (runs 4 mins and is quite quick), the hotel itself is a decent 5-10 min walk from the train stop with luggage. Its not terrible but the advertising made it seam closer. Ended up adding 20 mins to the airport transit time just to be on the safe side. Flying out from this hotel, it took a long time to get to the gate: walk, train, big check in hall, walk to customs, train to terminal, security lines, walk thru duty free to gate. Give yourself a lot of extra time as there is a suprising amount of logisitcs for staying right near the airport.

great location near terminal 1, easy flat 5-10 min walk to the CGDVAL. Nice facilities, nice staff. Remarkably quiet, very nice blackout drapes. Comfortable beds.

-the shower was odd: one stepped in from/out into the open room from the shower-no privacy. With my teen kid, this was awkward so he went down to the lounge while I showered. -the restaurant was unable to use a credit card with a chip, per the waiter, which was very odd. Both of my credit cards have chips and "didn't work". It's fortunate I had enough Euros to cover our dinner, I'm not sure what we'd have done if I hadn't. Seems a major hotel at an international airport should be able to use cards with a chip, and I was able to use the card at check in for the room. Then I wasn't given change until I requested it.
