Hotel was convenient for the main rail station, also bus stop short distance away. There was a very good and plentiful breakfast included in the price. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet even though the hotel is on a main road. A kettle was supplied on request.

There were no sockets by the beds for charging of mobiles. I liked the separate toilet but would have preferred if there had been a small hand basin in the room

The room was clean ,quiet, and very spacious. I loved the wood accents and thick carpet .The staff were very nice. Breakfast was very good.

I chose this hotel because of the great reviews of their restaurant and wine cellar ( this is a major selling point for this property), only to arrive and be told both were closed. Someone from Booking.com or the hotel should have emailed this information to me prior to my arrival so that I could then decide to continue with my booking or not. Yes, I might have cancelled but the honesty would have been appreciated and taken into account on my next trip. They heavily promoted the restaurant in their advertising and I should have been informed it was closed before my arrival ! This hotel is not central to the city center or old town.

First and foremost, the breakfast is simply fantastic. There is an array of different foods, from savoury to sweet. You can even have a freshly made omelette, with your personalised choice of toppings. We ate so well! The hotel itself is also very good. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were fortunately looking out at the back and therefore did not hear the traffic as I would assume front facing rooms would be quite noisy due to the traffic on the busy road. The location is pretty good. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the city centre and a mere 10 minute walk to the train station.

A kettle in the room would have been appreciated. We were already aware of this but bear in mind that this hotel is not in the city centre and it does require some walking (or public transport).

The hotel was close to all the attractions in the city and had good bus connections from its location. The breakfast was also really good and had a wide variety to choose from. Next, the facilities were easy to use (always hot water and it was quite warm in the rooms) Finally, the hotel staff were lovely, answered all our questions in a timely manner and when we needed to leave our luggage as our flight was later in the day, they provided special areas to keep our luggage.

The only thing that I would say is the fact that the room had a strange smell (most likely from the older furniture), but other than that, all was great!

Fantastic place, way above my expectations. Service was available 24/7. Incredible, top quality restaurant on premises, and high end wine shop next door. Room was large, clean and beautifully setup. Comfy beds and very quiet, even though the place is located on a busy main street. Bathroom clean, modern and working perfectly. Location just 15 minutes from main train station, on foot. Pedestrian bridges allow you to safely cross the street with ease. This is my top pick for any future stays in Bratislava. Worth the moderate extra cost.

Breakfast was superb with a good selection, well prepared and displayed beautifully. The wine cellar where you have breakfast is gorgeous. The room was spacious and comfortable, and spotlessly clean and tidy. The hotel is very close to the main railway station. The wine selection is unparalleled.

I hadn't realised from quickly scanning a map that the main train station and this hotel were a 20 minute uphill walk from the historic heart of Bratislava. I was not prepared for that in the recent heatwave. Next time I will be taking one of the frequent buses.

Very nice and helpful receptionist lady who helped me with the booking that I messed up. Clean room and bathroom. Very close to the train station (mainly the reason I chose this hotel) walkable distance to the old town. And, OMG, the really exceptional breakfast at their own restaurant. Also, I must have been on the “good side” of the hotel because I have read some comments on here that it was loud??? What? It was so quiet-and I am a very light sleeper.

Maybe, just maybe consider adding the center air conditioning. Summers are getting hotter and hotter.

It is very convenient for the railway station. Go UP the hill and cross over to the back of the station. The restaurant is connected to the hotel. Good breakfast. Mini bar welcome. Peaceful to the back of the hotel. Shower gel provided. Beds very comfortable.

Would have a higher score, BUT. The receptionist tried to charge me for the stay even though I had paid. I was on an 11 day tour, so good job I had paperwork with me. I wonder how many have got conned in the past? Also same person in morning didnt know what there was in minibar and couldn't find the item to charge me.

The breakfast was excellent. Full range of hot and cold food etc with a chef cooking omelettes on demand. The coffee machine only produced small coffees so you had to return for a top up!! The large double room was clean with plenty of hot water and a safe.

The hotel was close to the main train station. Although you had to go in a loop to get there. This was a 25 minute walk to the old town.

Nice spacious rooms, good breakfast. Our rooms were facing the yard, so it was quite during the night, we didn’t hear the noise from the road at all Nice and welcoming staff I liked that toilet and bathroom were separate rooms

It is not related to hotel, more to booking.com and our own research: we thought that hotel is located in 200m from the train station and it looked like that on the map (we thought that we just need to cross the road). However to really get to the hotel from the train station you need to go around and it takes good 8-10 minutes. For most of the situations it is not critical, but it was heavy rain and late evening, so that was not a great surprise:) However, as I said, this is not disadvantage of the hotel, more like a tip to other travelers to consider
