This Hotel has met my expectations. Let us consider all the pros: -Staff: they were all very friendly, especially the lady at the reception. Always trying to help and very professional. They also kindly stored my luggage on my first day so as to give me the opportunity to do some sightseeing waiting for the 2 pm check-in. -Check-in/out: In 2 minutes, I was checked in and checked out without any issue. -The Hotel: I chose this particular hotel for its vicinity to the main train station of Bratislava for I was travelling by train. 8 min walk from the station, amazing. To reach the city center you can take either the 1 Tram or the bus. In 10 min tops you reach the city center. -The Room: it was really nice and spacious. Comfy bed. I personally enjoyed the minibar where I was able to store some food and water. -Breakfast: it was included in the price of the room. It starts at 7 am until 10 am. Very variegated: fresh bread, sauces, eggs, yogurt, fruits, cereals, croissants, etc. -Miscellaneous: there was no sign to confirm whether or not the tab water was safe to drink. Hence, I bought bottled water.

Let us consider all the cons: -Thin walls: noise isolation can be an issue. I was able to hear the guests next room speak and their TV.

Suited me as I was travelling by train, so all bus/tram/train links very convenient. Reception staff were very efficient and helpful in explaining the hotel routines. There is a lift to all floors. My room was superb, extremely light and airy and very spacious. There was a separate bathroom to toilet. A selection of lighting provided a lovely ambience. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was no noise throughout my stay. Breakfast was excellent with a very good selection of hot/cold food served.

Seemed a long walk round from the railway station! The entrance to the hotel was rather confusing, you have to walk round to the back of the hotel for access.

Its a nice, small "family run" type hotel - which was a pleasant change from corporate blandness - lots of dark wood paneling and substantial furniture. Location - walkable from the railway station and into the city centre (but see below if you have heavy baggage). For the price - excellent - even though my (large) room was not air conditioned and the weather was hot and humid - the room temperature was comfortable enough. All necessary facilities were present and working.

Hotel is NOT quite as close to the main railway station as I thought - as the crow flies under 200m but the walking route took me ten hot minutes. Not the hotel's problem but mine. Hotel backs onto a busy road - most rooms will be well sheltered from any noise (mine was) - but if you are a light sleeper you might want to mention this when booking. Also - check the opening days/times for the restaurant - by reports it is rather good BUT not open on the day I was there - again my bad for not checking.

Overall a very good 3 star hotel with tricky approach from the railway station. It is true that it faces the station but you have to pass over a bridge with lots of stairs and after that follow all the way up the hill. This is really hectic if particularly you are old and have to transfer your luggages. Nice modern and ample room with all amenities and equipments, helpful staff and normal breakfast. The dishes at the restaurant are of superb quality and they also serve good riesling wine. 1,200 m.from the old town with good public transportation. Reccomended.

Nice room with good armeneties. Fridge was stocked when we came, a small aircondition system in place, decent beds, safety box, tv and bathroom. Toilet in a seperate room apart from the shower (including the sink) which is a bit unpractical for washing hands. Breakfast (buffet) was in the nice restaurant and was ok. They even put a complimentary bottle of their own wine in the room. Staff was nice and gave us a late checkout. Location very close to the train station and bus 61 to the airport. Just a few stops away on a bus or tram from the historic city centre.

Pillows on the bed are very soft and fluffy and I miss an electrical outlet near the bed. A few more options at breakfast would be nice - like a fruitsalad, french toasts etc. The price is a bit high, but Bratislava turned out to be more expensive than we thought.

As mentioned in a previous review having a proper wardrobe and shelves/drawers is always a bonus as opposed to open hanging space. Great shower. The furnishings were old fashioned but in a very good way. Gave the place a good atmosphere. Restaurant downstairs was good. 2 bus stops from railway station and buses into centre stop almost outside the hotel.

steep slope/steps up to reception altho after I would go up/down thru restaurant. air con was a stand alone unit a noisy but I prefer to be able to open a window

The Hotel location was really convenient for the main rail and bus station. We only stayed for one night as we flew into Bratislava and stayed to explore for a day before moving on to Vienna. It's perfect for this sort of stay. The hotel was really clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. We got a complimentary bottle of wine from their shop. The only down side I would give the hotel is that there isn't much around it in the immediate area other than its own restaurant however it's only a 5 minute bus into the city which you can get from next to the entrance.

The immediate area (5 minute walk) wasn't the nicest and didn't really have much there. Not a big issue with the short journey to the city centre.

Wine bottle in a room for free - a nice surprise (however, no opener in the room). Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and well speaking English. The room overall was very good, quite luxurious.

Location. Even though the main train station is not far away, there is a long way to walk here on foot. City center and old town are quite far. Surroundings overall looks questionable with some extreme. This hotel is like an island in a poor scene around. Not sure about the price. I would say it could be slightly cheaper.

The room was great and had what I needed. I had to leave before breakfast was served to catch a flight and they put together a breakfast package for me which was lovely. It was about a 20 minute walk to the old town

The hotel is on a really busy road and it’s easy to miss the parking (which costs €10). Had to go around the block again to figure it out. The immediate neighbourhood wasn’t really interesting but it was only 20 minutes walk to the old town.
