Please note: I've written this review having been quite critical, with minor details here and there that maybe the hotel staff will read and take note of. We thought the hotel was fantastic! As a newly renovated hotel, there were still a few facilities missing like ironing facilities.. staff were kind enough to take our clothes and iron a few which was helpful. Yoga was a lovely addition one of the mornings. It would be nice if it was in a more 'yoga style' room with ambient lighting. We had a couple's spa package one of the days. Although the facilities and massages were lovely, it's a shame that the staff were talking very loudly and I couldn't concentrate on relaxing. Maybe another private door needs to be added between the VIP area and the spa desk. We stayed for 6 nights,at which point the breakfast options were becoming a bit monotonous. If they added a daily special it would be a lot more interesting

Location was fantastic, with our view of the lake. Cleanliness was very good Hotel staff friendly Lovely hotel to relax, unwind and be with nature Spa facilities were very clean. We wish it was open a lot earlier in the day, but understand that during summer season most people are outside. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel especially if you want to spend of unwinding time with nature with fantastic accessibility to the national park. We would love to stay again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from and everything was fresh and delicious. The wellness facilities were also top-notch - I loved spending time in the sauna and the swimming pool was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring. The service was also exceptional - everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation."

We loved the concept of the hotel and the designed CI was visible throughout the whole facility. The rooms were very nice and we loved the style. The breakfast was excellent. We had the opportunity to listen to life music on the day of our arrival. We had a very lovely time!

We had a room above the spa and the guests were a bit noisy sometimes. Furthermore, the spa can be used 2 hours a day. This two hours need to be in one timeframe though. We used the pool for 30 minutes and wanted to return later, but they told us, that we had to pay 15€ per person for jumping in again. The balcony’s are very spacious but the furniture is quite simple and not as comfortable as imagined. Here sun beds or similar would be better in our opinion.

I tried to book wellness when I arrived but it was full for the whole weekend. It’s kinda strange to open wellness for non hotel guests and when hotel guests wanna go to wellness they can’t. To be honest it’s not much you can do at the evening in Bohinj and there’s nothing else you can do in hotel. I was very disappointed about that. So I need to drive to Bled for sauna.

It is one of the best hotel that I have ever visited. The location close to the lake was perfect. The room was clean and comfy and had an amazing view on the mountains. The breakfast was delicious, my wife has gluten intolerance and there were many many choices for her as well. The wellness area is not too big, but it has everything you need to relax, it can be used for 2 hours per day. All in all it is a brilliant hotel, lovely staff and great location, I highly recommend, it is the place where I would like to return once for sure.

The ventilation system was a bit loud, but could be switched off with the help of the receptionist.

Hotel is very well designed aesthetically. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Fantastic atmosphere, fire pit outside in the evenings with light music. Wellness facilities were amazing and free for 2 hours. We booked additional massages which were exactly what we needed after lots of activity in and around the lake. The breakfast offer was great and the evening restaurant far exceeded our expectations, with the food and wine both at an excellent standard. Bike hire was reasonable and easy to arrange. Parking was free.

Eco friendly ventilation system (not air con) means we slept with the door to balcony open with the curtain pulled across on particularly hot nights. This was fine, except the adjacent church bells rang loudly at 7am each morning for over 5 mins.

We took "the long way" there and after the narrow adventurous roads through the night experience, it opened up like an uplifting surprise. The hotel is a very well thought (in detail) exercise of design surrounded by a beautiful scenery. The staff was kind and helpful. I appreciated the extra little time granted before the check out.

The balcony overlooked the trash bins behind the hotel and although surrounded by a wooden fence they were still at sight and disturbing. A little more effort on properly hiding them would make that more coherent with the hotel's narrative and would make the guests feel more comfortable. Breakfast could use some tuning in order to reach up to the level of the big picture.

Overall, the hotel was wonderful, offering great location, delicious food, exceptional staff, and an impressive modern design that managed to create a warm, inviting, and nature-inspired atmosphere. The hotel's location was perfect as it was situated close to the lake, making it convenient to get around and explore. The food at the hotel's restaurant was exquisite, and the staff was attentive and courteous, always making sure that our needs were met. The classic massage that we received at the hotel's spa was a great way to unwind after a long day of hiking and skiing . While it was not the best massage I have ever had, it was still quite enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of the Lake Bohinj. Despite the slight inconvenience of the -1 floor location for the comfort rooms, everything else about this hotel was exceptional.

The only negative aspect of the hotel was that the comfort rooms were located on the -1 floor, Instead of the mountain view that we were expecting, the comfort rooms located on the -1 floor offered a view of the parking area and trash, which was a disappointment. However, the rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable.

Vibe of hotel is great. Interior beautiful, a lot of wood all beautifully decorated and very comfy. Beds extra comfy. Liked free and warm slippers. Breakfast amazing. Staff helpful and pleasant. There was free wine tasting and we really enjoyed it. Though I find this hotel more for couples or friends, we enjoyed our stay with kids as well.

One stronger light in the room is missing. Ambient light is nice, but when you need to look for something small or you simply need to see better something stronger light is missing. No hooks for towels in the bathroom. These are just comments for the hotel to know what can be improved though we really can survive without this stuff and it didn't impacted our stay and impression in general;)

The hotel is beautifully renovated, using natural materials. The breakfast is nice. The location is good. TIP: along with the air conditioning that can be managed from the room, all rooms are also equipped with an air cleaning machine, which can be really loud and prevent you from sleeping. You can ask for a remote controller at the reception desk to turn it off.

Given how pricey the hotel is, one would expect to get more out of it, for example a tourist pass for local attractions, or anything similar, as this is common practice in many hotels. Even if you want to use the wellness centre it costs €25 per person for 3 hours, which is expensive for what it is. Some teething problems probably, but given how classy this hotel is intended to be, the staff should anticipate things better. For example, instead of having guests return to the reception in the morning and complain about the noise of the air cleaner, they could inform them at check-in and give them the remote controller.
