The hotel as a whole is a fairly beautiful space to be in ,we loved the mountain view .The service was great ,great staff ,very friendly and helpful appreciate that a lot .It was actually very clean ,loved that
There were no water refills knowing very well that the kettle couldn't even fit in the baisins, so that was very unreasonable and unthoughtful of the hotel ,the dinner we had wasn't what we thought we would encounter on a rating 5/10 they could do better, the pool was way too little besides that it was not even cleaned ,you can't even have drinks by the pool side this experience was overwhelming .It has very noisy surroundings but that's not your fault .

Breakfast was great, the staff is amazing and the location is perfect. i cannot wait to go back but next time i'm definitely booking straight from the hotel to avoid the mess we found ourselves in last week.
When i got there i found that Bookings.com cancelled 2 of my reservations after money was paid to the hotel and proof of payment was sent. Fortunately Jentro was such a brilliant manager and he made a plan, because of the cancellation we had to pay more and we were over charged, the Hotel owes us a balance of the money that we paid and we still have not heard anything from the hotel. The hotel is situated nicely in Kloof street and everything is just close by, restaurants are a walking distance and the neighborhood is pretty safe

The location was excellent. It is located within walking distance to a lot of essential outlets such as a supermarket. Many nice restaurants around (including the spectacular restaurant in the hotel). Access to cabs at your door step. Night life/bars around within walking distance. Long street is ALSO within a comfortable walking distance 😀 Spectacular view of the Table Mountain. Loved the hotel breakfast. Nice buffet with an assortment of meals. Cozy room with just the right amount of satellite tv channels.
There was a damp smell in the room.

Breakfast was nice, buffet style, hot breakfast and pastries etc, tea and coffee, beautiful outdoor view, can eat breakfast on the terrace by the pool. Room was really spacious, clean, lovely view, bed was comfortable, bathroom including shower was nice, very spacious bathroom also. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly
Rooms aren't very sound proof, can hear neighbours' conversations very easily, especially if they're loud!

Loved the View of the Table Mountain The location is perfect and close to all amenities The furniture and deco was beautiful, classy and modern The restaurants and pool area is classy and neat The welcoming staff is extremely friendly and helpful
The scent in our room was not fresh, they could use air fresheners or diffusers for a fresh scent in the rooms The cleaners did a terrible job, almost everyday they left either the couch or console dirty with crumbs or papers, they would not remove dirt or crumbs on bed too, I would have to redo the bed to remove dirt The cleaners would also reuse dirty bed sheets and towels

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many great food and drink places on Kloof Street. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much hassle for them. The room was spacious, modern and clean. The breakfast had a wide variety of choice and was always fully stocked. The view from our room (Mountain View) was also superb. We would highly recommend. The staff also made a special effort for our honeymoon!
It could sometimes be a bit loud as Kloof Street can be lively on Friday night/ the weekend. However, this typically finished up fairly early so it was not something that kept us awake for long. The pool is not heated so makes swimming in the colder months difficult!

The hotel is closer to the centre and generally performs all the stated functions, although it is difficult to attribute it to 4 stars. On the plus side: 01. Stunning view of Table Mountain from the restaurant; 02. Quite hearty breakfast; 03. Friendly staff; 04. Convenient location: near many museums, business centre and different architectural buildings. From the airport it is better to get there by Uber: the price will be around 150-200 ZAR in a good and even excellent car. And in general it is better to get around this city by Uber. I also recommend the parks near the hotel: there are lots of beautiful buildings and there are almost tame squirrels. There is a CBD street nearby: I recommend avoiding it as the contingent there is peculiar.
The registration was very strange: in booking.com I chose 23-26 September, but the confirmation from the hotel came not immediately (a few weeks later) and it showed completely different dates (21-25 September). I sort of pointed this out in my correspondence and the hotel manager at booking.com assured me that the issue had been resolved, indicating the correct dates and the correct room order. But on arrival I was again presented with the same erroneous information that the registration is not for 23-26 September, but for 21-25. I write this without anger and censure, but if the hotel wants to become better, then this should be removed: when you are travelling with children, such delays are quite nerve-wracking. Otherwise there are no issues with the hotel and staff.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is very welcoming. Location isn’t the best but it still gave us a different kind of experience of Cape Town. Quite busy because it’s in town but the hospitality made up for everything else. Kudos to Mthobisi at the bar and the manager Toni. The guys know what it means to make guests feel at home.
The location isn’t one of the best, but it gave my kids exactly the different experience I wanted them to get having first stayed at the beachfront. parking is also payable separately, probably because of the location.

This was my third stay at the hotel. I was on the ground floor this time and the room was quieter than some of the other rooms I have stayed in. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food options have been reduced, but still a good offering.
The soundproofing in the rooms is not particularly good. This time I was under the restaurant and you could hear the tables and chairs being moved around in the early mornings. The windows are single glazed, so you get noise from outside. They have reduced the menu items, which is a shame, as there were some good choices previously.

Kloof Street Lion's Roar Hotel is perfectly located, surrounded by an abundance of fantastic restaurants, making it ideal for food lovers. The swimming pool is a standout feature, offering a stunning view of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. The rooms are modern, and comfortable. The parking garage underneath the hotel is another great feature—spacious, convenient, and very affordable.
There was nothing we didn’t like. We highly recommend Kloof Street Lion's Roar Hotel for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Cape Town.
