The staff starting from the diligent lady who booked me in. There was a slight problem with the booking but she exceeded my expectations by going above and beyond to ensure that my booking is corrected. (Unfortunately I didn’t take your name).The rest of the staff were always readily happy to assist. The bellhops,Manfred and David, thank you. I can’t forget to thank the young lady whom we dubbed “Mini Bar”, I usually looked forward to hear your voice and see your friendly face. I can’t fault any member of staff at this hotel, you are all excellent and you made my stay worthwhile. Thank you! I can’t comment on the property and not mention the variety of choice at breakfast.

I didn’t like the basic room where I was first placed for one night. It really killed my moods as it was basic as in its description. The room smelled of pungent cleaning solution, the windows were mouldy, the carpet I wonder when it was last deep cleaned. The furniture was coated with remnants of paint. I honestly was very disappointed on the first night, if I hadn’t been upgraded to the suite I had booked, I wouldn’t spend another night there. Thank you for the upgrade for the remaining two nights, this uplifted my spirits and I was able to enjoy the rest of my holiday.

The serenity and ambience makes it feel like home to me. For the years I have been staying at the hotel and continually visiting with my family, it has never disappointed me - not even once. The entire staff is lovely and friend and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would like to mention a few people :- 1. Manfred - oh man what a lovely soul and a gentleman he is - always smiling and remembers you by name. Even if I don’t see him, he will come to me to greet and ask if everything is okay. 2. Solomon - I have to thank him for sorting out my rewards which gave me great value due to the discounts. 3. Xoli - what a beautiful and gracious host and a gem that Radisson has. She is always wearing a beautiful smile. 4. Benjamin- always willing to serve

We booked two bedroom suite. The suite was spacious, the balcony with fabulous sea views. Position of the reading table excellent. The choice of Breakfast was endless and the breakfast staff very alert and served us with a broad smiles. The manager / supervisor always visible to ensure that we got everything that we asked for and more. Front desk very welcoming and Porters like Gary very attentive and helpful.

Phone number in the room should go direct to house keeping or reception or concierge not just to number 9 for all requests. It becomes difficult to measure and comment on the efficiency of each service.

Everything from reception, check in was seamless and quick. The receptionist gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel comfortable and special.

The attitude of the 2 receptionists that were on duty on Saturday. We wanted to upgrade to a Premier room but we’re told that it would be available on Saturday. After breakfast when I made an enquiry, they told me that it was never guaranteed that I will find a room and besides they wouldn’t refuse to offer a room to someone who was paying for that room. That didn’t sit well with me cos we were paying and we’re still gonna pay for the requested upgrade.

The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly nature without being overwhelming. It was a relaxed stay in beautiful surroundings and everywhere was clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend to solo travellers due to location and amenities and the views were fabulous wrapping around the mountain and harbour, you get the best of both worlds.

-facilities were amazing -receptionist who checked us in was very nice -services provided by the hotel were convenient -room was nice and spacious -location is the highlight of this place

-discrimination by one staff member by the pool constantly questioning if I was staying at the hotel -room service was very disorganised I had to call 4 times for them to bring me a fork and knife

Great location ! I am a regular visitor to Cape Town and my favourite hotel is the Radisson Blu . The room I booked wasn’t available when I checked in so was given an upgrade . Many thanks to Joshua for arranging this for me . He is always very professional and helpful . Thank you .

I have noticed that the room rates for 2023 have increased substantially - even the standard room rates have shot up . I appreciate that prices do increase in high season but I don’t think the inflated rates can be justified . People like me who are visiting Cape Town for leisure purposes may find the new rates prohibitive . Sadly I am looking elsewhere for my next trip .

my view of the Atlantic Ocean nothing can beat that also staff were very friendly, free shuttle to the waterfront. attention to detail. The hotel relation representative made sure to speak to guest during breakfast asking them about their experience at the hotel also gym and spa on point the heated pool was a plus

no heating in my room during winter but staff had to bring a heater to us was a bit cold. one of the sinks was clogged told the hotel about it but was not fixed. glad there was another working sink

Great location and we had a suite on the third floor. Lots of room, good facilities and a wonderful ocean view. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. They really impressed me by writing after I left to tell me I had accidentally been charged twice for a tour we did. Very impressive!

Nothing which was in the control of the hotel. unfortunately we couldn’t walk to the waterfront for security reasons and there were lots of power cuts.
