We booked a room with sea view and it was excellent! The room was very spacious, curtains open automatically and you can enjoy the view. The location is excellent! They provide a shuttle service which is complimentary on the first day. The variety for breakfast was great as well, the food was amazing, we loved our stay!

They need to improve the cleanliness of the property. We had to ask the manager to change our bed late in the evening, because it was full of unpleasant stains. They said it was just a one time problem, but the towels were very dirty in our room as well as the towels in the sauna were not clean neither. We didn’t feel they clean the property well, but all the rest was amazing.

Beautiful room overlooking the sea with easy access to the coast path. Exceptionally friendly staff.

The diner and breakfast service at table was a bit random; we were given diner menus then they were taken away because nothing on it appeared to be available! Then a shorter hand written list was offered that worked ok after some time. Probably an issue of staff training but nonetheless less friendly.

The room was amazing, with a great view of the ocean. Nice big bathroom with a bath and shower. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, with great options and good portions. The fruit, muesli and yoghurt was my favourite. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we stayed longer 😊

The only issue we had was with the TV and a few of the plug points not working. This was fixed immediately when I called to mention it, however, the issue persisted throughout our stay. This should be looked into for a permanent fix. It wasn't much of a bother to us, as we were out most of the time, so ignored it for the most part. However, it was a bit of a letdown when the TV went off during the rugby 🙈

One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. Firstly, the sea view room we had was exceptional. The views were our favourite part about waking up here, but it was also huge and very comfortable. Incredible value for money. The breakfast served is a level above everywhere! A la carte with daily specials and seriously delicious. Staff were perfect in every way - friendly, helpful. Couldn't fault them at all. There's also a complimentary shuttle to take you where you want to go which is an amazing touch. Very reliable and comfortable. Honestly this place blew us away. From the beautiful gardens to the people running it, we would return in an instant!!

Team we’re excellent Views stunning and can see Whales while having breakfast

The location was on the sea front and we had beautiful views from our view window which was the size of a wall. Looking out watching for whales was a joy. The staff were wonderful and each and every one of them made our stay that more special. The food was excellent and always prepared and presented with a wonderful smile. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay magical, we will be back!

Slightly worn fittings in the room. The upstairs relaxing area lacked good flow and warmth. The location is a bit remote from central Hermanus highlights such a harbours and cliff path , although this is offset somewhat by the complementary shuttle, and conveniently close to Whale Coast Mall and Hemel en Aarde Valley road..

A surprising gem that could not be located closer to the breaking waves. We stayed in the nice rooms was amazing and huge!! Particular nice touch was the automatic curtains that can e controlled from the bed. Cannot fault this place and extremely well run. A free shuttle service into town was a great bonus!!

Breakfast was very slow and served on ice cold plates in the middle of freezing weather. Wine selection was rather limited and very ex[pensive for what it was.

Upon our arrival, our room had been upgraded which was a lovely bonus. The GM was an absolute pleasure and went out of her way to help with anything we requested.

The service at Breakfast was a little slow due to shortage of staff. One staff member had to help all the patrons, when eventually the Cook would come out and help clear tables, take orders etc. The cleaning of the apartment could have been slightly better.
