Great location, tranquility!

They need to sort out their water! We used cold water to shower😒 when I asked, they told me they are using solar! According to them, no solution! Imagine visiting again🤦🏾‍♂️

We stayed here because we were participating in a marathon event the following day. As a result, we did not get a chance to enjoy a proper meal here, only a drink at the bar. We loved the tented camp with our own river view, outdoor eating spot and free roaming birdlife and wildlife We got complimentary energy drinks and chocolates for our run which was a lovely touch.

Nothing. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it and stay here again.

Beautiful peaceful place, the environment its set in is just so calm and relaxing. Lovely pond/dam on site with seating area you can watch the birds and buck species. The peacocks on site are pleasantly tame, my child enjoyed watching their activities. Breakfast was top class. Room was super clean and comfy. Enjoyed the welcome chocolates and sherry. We will be back this place is value for money and I will highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you to the friendly management and staff that made our stay memorable.

Room no:3 was close to other units and the other kids were loud.

The area is very quiet and there are not disturbances. Love the animals nearby including the birds and rabbits. Wonderful reception and warm staff.

The internet connectivity could be better as I did not have enough data on my side and would have appreciated fast reliable internet connection. This can be improved I believe.

We loved the location. The beds were very comfortable and the room was beautiful with everything that we needed. The property was beautiful and very well kept. They went the extra mile by giving each of us a “Runner’s Survival Pack” with a whole lot of goodies to help us on our way.

The noisy peacock that screamed at all hours of the night🙈 The showers were a challenge, either scorching hot or freezing cold, maybe install separate taps instead of a mixer so that you can control the temperature better, especially with the gas geyser.

Our stay at the tented accommodation adjacent to the pond/lake was an experience of sheer beauty and relaxation. The property boasted of an extraordinary atmosphere, with splendid creatures such as peacocks roaming freely. The pool area was also lovely. The staff were also friendly and accommodating.

food and service was wonderful. Grounds and property are beautiful and peaceful. The room was huge and the bathroom was beyond expectations including a large tub which was exactly what was needed after staying in the Kruger. Is a relaxing, quiet place to stay.

somewhat concerning all the signs and "rules" a bit beyond what you would normally expect. The property is gated and electric fenced with cameras everywhere. The alarm went off at 5:20am which was the only thing bad that happened - according to staff the alarm went off because vegetation brushed up against the electric fence. Given all the security and rules I would interpret it to mean they are concerned about safety, perhaps overly so.

Well maintained and comfortable.. Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bar there. I can Fully recommend the lodge.

I would of liked to have known there was dirt road leading up to the lodge. Also they only provide breakfast only.

The person that greeted us on arrival really took care of us he even had conversation with me at the bar that was very nice. He went out of his way to make things pleasant for us even if we said there is no need he still insisted.

Only small downfall was no way to communicate once at the gate on arrival. Our phone battery went dead and we could not call on arrival. Would like to see an communication system at the gate if such things happen.

Great location, just perfect distance away from the city. Very peaceful and lots of beautiful animals freely roaming the premises.

The communal bathrooms could have been a bit tidier.
