Liked the first room we were in, we were put up in the exclusive Penthouse of the Lodge and it was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and welcoming. It created a wonderful travelling experience for us as we were there for my birthday weekend, we felt as though we weren't in the city at all and felt like we were in pure luxury. Had some confusion with our check-in but thanks to PJ, such a wonderful person and soul, so kind and was quick to sort everything out for us especially me (pregnant, grumpy woman). PJ sorted out our booking mix up and room and took us to the wonderful Penthouse. (Give that man a Bells plus he was under the weather but still took care of us). The general manager Roan was wonderful and professional as well, he came to meet us and both him and PJ gave us complementary breakfast for the confusion. I've traveled and have never seen such a well oiled machine in a lodge that's being run like a 5 star hotel. The two ladies who came to clean the Penthouse thank you to them as well, didn't get their names. The entire stuff amazing. Left our belongings behind check-out we are back in Gauteng and they called us to tell us all is safe with them for us to pick up when we're ready to come do that. The pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. (Chef came to our room after breakfast was long served to ask if we were ready for breakfast.. Wonderful stuff indeed). Loved everything about the Penthouse and the experience of the Lodge will definitely come back for this experience.

Staff is very friendly welcoming and always welling to assist by all means they go the extra mile in all they do. I would never book anywhere as but at the Nelspruit Lodge. The ir prices are worth your safe. Rooms are clean bathrooms are clean

There's actually nothing one can complain about the serves is amazing. I personally only struggle with the pillows being very hard but I'm guessing it's a personal issue

Clean, good value for money, looks exactly as advertised - No surprises. The team is nice, when we booked, we did not realise that my family and I would be in 2 separate buildings and they happily offered us rooms on the same floor in the same building for the same price.

The property is along the main road (not all rooms are facing towards the main road). For a light sleeper like me, I would hear cars driving up and down in my sleep but in all fairness, it wasn’t unbearable. Something you can look past.

Location was perfect for my needs, as it was close to the main road. Very helpful staff who carried my bag, and provided answers to my questions. Good breakfast available for a reasonable price.

The room could have been a bit cleaner, there were hairs on the floor that were not mine! And the ground floor room did not have screening curtains so the main curtains had to be closed for privacy even in daytime.

It was what we paid for and expected. Stayed there a few times already. No major problems.

Could add a small fridge to the room. Shower tiles need a good clean. It's not dirty but there is small areas with mould. Which happens at home also. So not a major set back, but just something to look at. Otherwise no other issues. Had a great night's rest.

The family room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Extra toilets on the corridor came in very handy when the bathroom in the room was occupied. Love the property location, so convenient with shops within walking distance. The staff is very friendly, Charmaine is so well mannerd and very friendly

I belive there's free wifi, the property should provide wifi password at checkin when providing guests with room keys, only realised when i arrived in my room that i didnt get password and was too lazy to walk back to reception. Everything else was exceptional, nothing to complain about.

When arriving on Saturday the guy who was on duty by the time of our arrival his hospitality management is on another level,, there group of man who were so rude to him but his way of communicating and handling those guys was super professional I myself wasn't going to deal with them,I say big up to him👌👌

There was nothing not to like every thing in there was a good value for money

I didn't use the breakfast option because I woke up early for a Marathon. The Marathon preparations started in the early hours of the morning. When I left the hotel in morning I didn't return.

Except the noise on the road because it was a Friday and people were still enjoying their night out, all was in order.

I was absolutely delighted by my stay at the Lodge. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that this was no ordinary stay. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth and impeccable attention to detail. The Lodge's dedication to creating a memorable stay was evident in the small touches.

Everything was just great.

The location was easy to find and not noisy. The receptionist was kind enough to offer us some great popular hangout places to check out during our visit to the city. The staff was helpful and friendly. Seamless check in and out process.
