Wow, 🤩 lol we checked out to go, but made our way right back! We decided to extend our holiday for another week. Sunsets and sun rise from all angles were beautiful. Thanks once again team Nelspruit Lodge for your excellent hospitality and nothing beats your lounging areas by the pool or a lovely walk around where you situated. Everything is near by! You location is just perfect for site seeing and all types of restaurants and shops! It’s a win for any family! Keep up at what you guys are doing! It is working! Liked the first room we were in, we were put up in the exclusive Penthouse of the Lodge and it was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and welcoming. It created a wonderful travelling experience for us as we were there for my birthday weekend, we felt as though we weren't in the city at all and felt like we were in pure luxury. Had some confusion with our check-in but thanks to PJ, such a wonderful person and soul, so kind and was quick to sort everything out for us especially me (pregnant, grumpy woman). PJ sorted out our booking mix up and room and took us to the wonderful Penthouse. (Give that man a Bells plus he was under the weather but still took care of us). The general manager Roan was wonderful and professional as well, he came to meet us and both him and PJ gave us complementary breakfast for the confusion. I've traveled and have never seen such a well oiled machine in a lodge that's being run like a 5 star hotel. The two ladies who came to clean the Penthouse thank you to them as well, didn't get their names. The entire stuff amazing. Left our belongings behind check-out we are back in Gauteng and they called us to tell us all is safe with them for us to pick up when we're ready to come do that. The pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. (Chef came to our room after breakfast was long served to ask if we were ready for breakfast.. Wonderful stuff indeed). Loved everything about the Penthouse and the experience of the Lodge will definitely come back for this experience.

Hehehehe😃 after experiencing the Penthouse there's no way you want to be in the other rooms or units😉 Nothing at all.

There was a Christmas Eve party the night we booked in and the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a Presidental Suite where we couldn't hear the noise at all. I liked the beautiful bathroom which had a big shower as well as a spa bath. The room had a very comfortable bed and a tv that can be viewed from your bed. The unit had a kitchen with a fridge, safe, kettle and coffee for the morning.

The only thing we experienced that could have used some attention is the aircon. The aircon was on 16 degrees but wasn't making the unit as cold as you would normally expect it to be when set to 16 degrees.

The rooms were comfy, I love the fact that there are three swimming pools, location is perfect, staff was welcoming 🙏 I booked last minute and got an upgrade which was highly appreciated . Thank you!

The only thing I didn't like was the noise level in the evening and morning, BUT this was to be expected because it's festive season and other guests are checking in and out. And our rooms were close to reception. This would be expected at all hotels/lodges. My one recommendation would be to add the small body lotions ,shower caps etc to the rooms.

Everything, the place was modern. We got upgraded to a family room, and it worked out excellent for me with two kids. The toilets, the pool were clean and room service were excellent.

The wifi being throttled.. and the confusion during the check-in that my bookings payment could not be validated and I was asked to pay again, and I politely said no. But the issue was sorted 😀

The pool area was clean and well maintained The staff were extremely friendly and helpful Monique and Ruan were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home and made our stay extremely enjoyable and pleasant. Family Friendly and told us all tourists detonations and they put our safety first.

Staff is very friendly welcoming and always welling to assist by all means they go the extra mile in all they do. I would never book anywhere as but at the Nelspruit Lodge. The ir prices are worth your safe. Rooms are clean bathrooms are clean

There's actually nothing one can complain about the serves is amazing. I personally only struggle with the pillows being very hard but I'm guessing it's a personal issue

Clean, good value for money, looks exactly as advertised - No surprises. The team is nice, when we booked, we did not realise that my family and I would be in 2 separate buildings and they happily offered us rooms on the same floor in the same building for the same price.

The property is along the main road (not all rooms are facing towards the main road). For a light sleeper like me, I would hear cars driving up and down in my sleep but in all fairness, it wasn’t unbearable. Something you can look past.

Location was perfect for my needs, as it was close to the main road. Very helpful staff who carried my bag, and provided answers to my questions. Good breakfast available for a reasonable price.

The room could have been a bit cleaner, there were hairs on the floor that were not mine! And the ground floor room did not have screening curtains so the main curtains had to be closed for privacy even in daytime.

It was what we paid for and expected. Stayed there a few times already. No major problems.

Could add a small fridge to the room. Shower tiles need a good clean. It's not dirty but there is small areas with mould. Which happens at home also. So not a major set back, but just something to look at. Otherwise no other issues. Had a great night's rest.
