Been to Majeka 5/6 times over the past 10 years, and enjoyed stay, together with recommending to friends. Calm, safe location, Conveniently located for some of our favourite restaurants- Mont Marie, Guardians Peak, Waterford Wine estate. Conveniently located for local golf courses- De Zalze, Stellenbosch, Erinvale

Starting to look dated, and in need of an upgrade. I fully appreciate the devastating effect of Covid, on business finances, but atour stays in in our “favourites” in Constancia and Franschhoek, those properties have “ moved on”

We loved the decor, we had a beautiful room with access to two pools. The room was beautifully decorated. The food fab and the staff were so friendly and attentive and helped us with any enquiries for places to visit. It’s set right in the middle of the vineyards. It had a spa and hairdressers on site which we used. We had lovely massages.

The only thing that was broken was the Jacuzzi and steam room but we used the sauna and were out most days so not a problem

The most incredible staff and General Manager - everyone so hands on and attentive to the smallest detail. I have been in the hospitality, eventing and marketing industry for 35 years and the hotel was immaculate. The food and breakfasts were wonderful and reasonable. Spa on site an absolute win with wonderful therapists. Entry level rooms - Premium - where South Africans can afford deliver beyond expectations. Would not look anywhere else if you are wanting to explore the Stellenbosch area.

The only thing I would love if there was NO wi-fi - as I am electrosensitive. Miss the days when one could go anywhere without being radiated.

My wife and I spent the evening after getting married in Stellenbosch. The location is conveniently tucked away. The house itself is really comfortable with the heated pool and sauna were amazing. The food at restaurant was really good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was excellent and spacious with the interior well decorated. The breakfast the next morning served at the room was great! Planning to go again.

Everything was good except guests swimming at 1am in the morning keeping everyone awake. Your pool should close at a certain time or keep guests quiet. The pool is right at reception so not sure why they allowed this.

The staff at Majeka are unparalleled in their commitment to customer service. From the warm welcome at check-in to the personalised attention throughout my stay, every interaction was marked by genuine warmth and professionalism. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. Whether I was unwinding at the spa or taking a refreshing dip in the sparkling pool, everything was perfect.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Spa facilities, meals available (excellent fillet steak) welcoming staff, location -quiet suburb but convenient distance from other amenities, library with cozy fire, well appointed room

Even though a small food & red wine menu was on offer, even less was actually available! Frustrating. No lights in the stairwell so pitch dark when returning to the room at night - did request it to be attended to but not resolved.

- Helpful staff members at the front office - beautiful room and lobby - great service - quality of the products for the mini-bar, that was awesome to see such good products there.

- Generator not being used during power breakage (better not mention there is one in that case…) - atmosphere of the courtyard: it’s poorly maintained and there is a contrast with the inside areas which are beautiful - Breakfast was average and many flies around

A very charming, boutique hotel in Stellenbosch, beautifully designed. Welcoming and hospitable staff who make sure you are well looked after. Enjoyed having breakfast on the lovely terrace, which was delicious and offered everything you could want, traditional English, continental, eggs Benedict, pancakes, fruit etc. I'm sad I didn't have more time to enjoy the property and make more use of the spa and treatments.

Perfect stay.

Majeka House is a beautiful property, with a fantastic porch and semi private pool. Had a good meal from the bar one afternoon on the balcony, and the breakfast each morning was great. Super service from the staff - who were very welcoming and ready to please! Close to town but also far enough away to properly relax, there are also mountain bike and walking trails in the forest and along the mountain just behind the property which I used each day of my stay.

Room wasn't serviced one morning, although I was in the room and enjoying the garden and pool but still felt the service should have been offered. Nothing else, it was a great stay.
