The guesthouse was close enough to the main bbq/busking area of Hongdae (5min walk away), but far enough that it’s still quiet when you return to sleep. So much effort was put into providing a different breakfast menu every morning that I felt bad I didn’t wake up early enough to eat it. The owner was also very helpful when i asked for help to make dinner reservations, and even dropped me a reminder on the day of. It’s a little pricier than I would pay for a guesthouse but the stay was of great value.

Fantastic delicious breakfast included every morning in mini buffet style, with both Korean and Western options, and nutritionally balanced. The beds are very cozy and comfortable. The owner, Min, is very responsive to questions and messages via WhatsApp etc. One of the best things is the heating is perfectly balanced in winter - warm enough so you are never cold, but not exaggeratedly over heated like many other places in Seoul. Many cafes and convenience stores nearby, and a short 5 minute walk to the key subway station, Hongik University Station (and many buses too). Quick ~20 minute train or bus to key areas like Myeong-dong etc. Located in a quiet area. Great value for money overall.

I appreciate the fact thought is given to the daily breakfast options and there are a variety of options. Min, the Manager of the Guesthouse is friendly, helpful, and responsive. The guesthouse is cozy with a friendly vibe and it is located in a great area! The guesthouse is close to Hongik University and a variety of food, drink, and shopping options. Also, and very importantly, the guesthouse is close to the Hongik University Metro station.

It lays really close to the subway station, the owner is very kind and helpful, there are all kind of amenities and it is not too loud at night, if there is no party in the neighbourhood. I would definitely book it again.

Some parts, like the ceilings need some refurbishment. But if you don't look too closely it is alright. I know other apartments or hotels especially in Hongdae look worse and are more expensive. If you stay just a few nights it is a good option especially thanks to the kind host.

The hosts were really nice and friendly. The guesthouse was clean. There was a room to eat and a little cozy terrace for outdoor dinner. The room was clean and tidy there were free towels and a hairdryer in the room. There was also a phone charger to your disposition in the room in case you forgot yours. There was quiet jazz songs playing in the corridor giving a nice atmosphere to our floor. We feel that our hosts really want to make us feel at home. I really liked my stay in hongdae style guesthouse.

The homemade food is good and delicous for the travellers especially for people like us from Asia. A tranquil atmostphere over there in the Guest House is great for people enjoying to stay at a quiet and warm place like home. My family all like the House very much. We'll be there again if travel to Seoul.

Only one is the flow of hot water in the bathroom is not stable when taking a shower especailly other guests take at the same time.

The place is very homey and situated in a great location where you can walk around the safe street. There's a 24hrs open laundry area nearby that we really enjoyed plus coffee shop everywhere. 7-11 is also nearby if you need something that is not available in the guest house. The hosts are very friendly and the instructions in the guest house are easy to understand since it is written in every area. Lots of street foods in the afternoon and close to train and bus station.

We were bringing huge luggages since we travelled as a family and we stayed at the 3rd floor so bringing the luggages up is quite tiring since it is too heavy. The entrance is also at the 2nd floor so again if you have kids 3 and below, might be difficult for them.

Location is easy access to airport train and local train. Everyday the owner changed the menu for breakfast which is very thoughtful. We had a early flight and he let us eat breakfast earlier than the usual time. The owner always smile and helpful, just feel like home. The room is clean and good decor. I will definitely come again if I visit Seoul.

within walking distance from Hongik station! love that breakfast is provided too from 8-10am ! owner is a very kind soul and allowed us to put our luggage earlier and even carried it up to our rooms! appreciate it !!❤️ many convience stores nearby too so if you are craving for snacks can go and buy!

the steps can be very hard to carry the luggage up and down from outside to room it’s is just a tiring sesh. space wise is also small and not able to open luggages all at once
