Location, staff and cleanliness of room were all great. The hotel is just quite worn and needs some serious updating. And the rooms are very small. Expect to have difficulty finding space for larger luggage, and the shower will be tight for most people. However, the price was good, very clean room, friendly and helpful staff, too. And although we paid extra for the breakfast it was a good easy option and worth the price.

Just the common areas need refreshing. Clearly worn carpets and couches.

Location, facilities and staff were great, right next to Myeongdong and station. Very good value for money.

Construction right next door starts around 6-8am depending on the day, extremely noisy due to the construction (banging, excavating etc), only an issue if you are looking to sleep in and not up by 8am for your day. This seems to have only just started so will probably be the case for the next 6 months + for sure (or beyond). Review date 9-Nov-23.

the bathroom and toilet area was a bit too small. i kept hitting my elbows on the glass and the toilet room size was similar to being on a plane

The hotel was fantastic, it was extremely clean, cannot fault how tidy and clean it was. It was in an exceptional location, 2 min walk from the closest train station and 5 mins from the Main Street/night market of Myeongdong. When we had an issue with a light, the staff came immediately to our room and fixed it within minutes. The restaurant does breakfast and dinner with a fantastic panoramic view of Seoul. The 24/7 Reception was always very helpful for our millions of questions.

Maybe the bar could open a bit earlier for some afternoon drinks, otherwise can’t fault it

shower area might not suite all types of clients as the shower area was a glass-type enclosed room and the mirror was opposite the shower door (lack of privacy)

The location is excellent, close to Myeongdong Metro and the Myeongdong Night Market.

The shower has transparent glass with 1 side for curtain, but it is preferable to have it frosted for privacy. The room is compact and suitable for accommodating only 1-2 large luggage bags at most. Breakfast begins at 7:30 AM, and guests with early flights or tours may find it challenging to allocate time for it. While the food options are not extensive, they are sufficient in quality. i suggest the hotel to go for renovations in a few years time as I believe the carpets are showing signs of aging.

Spacious; safety box; free bottle of water everyday; comfortable and big bed with good pillows. Not too far a walk to the closest airport bus stop.

Shower floor is slippery and there were no handle bars for support; there was a constant stench in the separate toilet room and lack of space when sitting down on the toilet (my knees almost touched the door); most annoying of all is the soap dispenser at the mirror/sink area--very hard to press and too much soap comes out with each squeeze...so wasteful! Opening hours for access to the rooftop terrace was not convenient at all!! Upon exit from the elevator, the rooftop restaurant staffer would welcome us by offering to take us to sit down at the dining area each time we went making us feel awkward. The receptionists do not speak good English.

Very good location. Close to the shopping district. They provided bottled water daily. Shower was good- water flowed nicely and didnt clog up. They had a scale near the entrance to weigh the suitcases which was convenient.

Toilet is in an individual stall seperate from the shower- it was tiny, fan wasnt working that well. The room was a bit small for 2 suitcases in my opinion. Gym had nothing in it really- had two treadmills and some weights.

The location is well located. Convenient to the train station. Toilet had bidets. Friendly and super helpful and thoughtful staffs who help to book taxi to seoul station and specifically chose Arex entrance fo rus to conveniently alight with heavy luggage. Love the professionalism of the staffs as their English is superb too. Easy to understand and it's a bliss to communicate with them. Would definitely return to stay if I fly in Seoul again

The soap bottles are a bit wasteful to work that way. Should change the way the soap are dispense to not be so wasteful. Sometimes we only need a little but the squeeze bottle doesn't dispense a bit but a lot.

The hotel was very well situated a short walk from Seoul Tower, the nearest Metro station and the bustling main part of Myeong-dong; bursting with shops, restaurants and street food. The room was clean and a decent size with comfy beds. The space-age toilet was a great bonus :-) It rained almost constantly when we visited, but on day 4, when the clouds parted we realised we'd had a view of Seoul Tower all along. For the price paid, this was a great budget option.

The bathroom was glass panelled, which on the side could be covered by a blind but was still exposed in the doorway in front of the mirror. This wouldn't be too much of an issue for a couple, but for a mother-daughter stay, was a little too intimate for our liking!
