Front desk staff are very inefficient. We came hotel at 10.00 am after long flight and requested to have room but logically it's not available - we accepted. When we want to check-in at 1.00 pm front desk we need to present them PCR test but at 10.00 am front desk didn't tell anything. We didn't allowed to go the restaurant for food. Anyway, next day we did PCR test and given hotel number and our stay was going through but on the night on 21/04/22 we asked food when front desk staff Tony Kim asked for PCR test update. I was very surprised and asked him to collect and report me while no one updated. Front desk staff should more efficient.

This hotel gave us an opportunity to experience the Gangnam side of Seoul. Hotel staff were outstanding, willing to assist with absolutely anything and English were no troubles. There is an abundance of facilities located within the hotel for guests to use but if you are looking for additional great food or shopping the hotel is also amongst three huge shopping centres (as well as an aquarium). The airport bus is also just a five minute walk so was really easy to head home! Hotel also located near two metro stations on either side which made travel to tourist attractions easy as well as to the Olympic village (where many theatre productions and baseball games are played). Would definitely recommend and return again.

Perfect for Coex conference (but far from any historical attractions - it takes at least 45 mins by underground to get to the centre of the city). Also easy underground access to Coex mall (going straight on right next to the breakfast room). Room was spacious, with all neccessary amenities. Coffee and toiletries were replenished regularly. Breakfast buffet huge, with a lot of choice. We had to queue for it on occassion, but never longer than a few minutes. Reception staff was helpful when my wife lost her keycard or we needed some changes on the final invoice.

On the second day of our stay, room service tried to enter around 8.30 am (!). We were jet-lagged and trying to get some sleep. Later I remembered to turn on the 'do not disturb' button on the wall, next to the door (which can be easily missed esp. in dim light, if you're not looking for it). Also room design is a bit old-school and could be refreshed.

Room was incredibly spacious for the price. Very quiet, and comfortable. Tons of facilities. The sauna was extremely clean and very accommodating for a hotel sauna. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Few Five-Star hotels are worth the price, but this one is.

There isn't anything remotely serious to complain about. I guess the carpet in the room was a tad worn out and could stand to be replaced soon. Only one nightstand had a USB charging port. If you want me to be REALLY picky, I suppose it was mildly annoying that I couldn't have the espresso machine and kettle plugged in at the same time—needless to say it was not exactly a big deal.

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The room I stayed in was not just good, but it exuded comfort and elegance, making me feel right at home. The culinary experience was a culinary journey in itself, with a wide array of delectable dishes to choose from, ensuring that every meal was a delightful adventure. The concierge team's warm and friendly welcome set the tone for my stay, and the staff's service was nothing short of extraordinary, with their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction. To top it off, the dedicated room service was always just a call away, making my stay even more convenient and enjoyable. This hotel deserves the highest praise, and I enthusiastically award it a well-deserved five-star rating for consistently delivering a perfect blend of comfort, culinary excellence, and impeccable service.

It was pretty much everything on their services.

I liked that the property is in Gangnam, and right across the street from a Temple. Additionally there’s tons of shopping centers and malls within walking distance of the hotel. I love that the property is connected to the COEX Mall and an aquarium. My husband loved that a casino is connected to the hotel. Lastly, the staff was great and very accommodating. We had issues with a room next to ours with guests who were highly intoxicated and had no regard for other guests. The drunk guests were obnoxiously loud and even after management told them to be quiet, they didn’t care. Because the unruly drunk guests continued to cause a ruckus, management upgraded us to a nicer room away from the discourteous guests. Albeit the issues we had, I highly recommend this hotel for its 5-star service, delicious buffets and exquisite afternoon tea!

There’s nothing not to like.

We stayed for 3 nights and we requested for the extra bed at the property; however, the extra bed was not available for the first night due to high demand (at least at the time of check-in). They were kind enough to set up 3 blankets on the floor as a substitute for free for the first night. Luckily, by the evening, they called and offered the extra bed as there was a cancellation from the other guest. The staff are really helpful!!

Perfect location, near mostly to anywhere & on top of Coex mall. Smooth check in & check out. Awesome & super helpful service from the concierge & housekeeping teams. They even managed to send small bday cake for my son. Not too mention cool amenities like Nespresso machine & L’ocittane. We’re one big group of family & friends, can’t tell u each stories bcos it will be very long but everyone was super happy with the service. Intercontinental Coex should be proud of their awesome teams. Keep it up! we’ll definitely coming back for more.

the design is a little bit outdated, but everything is in the perfect condition. The pillows are a bit too flat, maybe it’s best if they provide 1 flat & 1 more firm. And it would be great if they have a window that can be opened so fresh air can go in. Other than that, everything is perfect.

This hotel is conveniently located in Ceox Center, offering easy access to various malls in the area. Additionally, the presence of the historic Bongeunsa temple right across the street adds a unique charm to the surroundings. The hotel staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, demonstrating remarkable courtesy, helpfulness, and politeness throughout our stay. They were incredibly accommodating, readily fulfilling our requests. Overall, our experience at this hotel was truly fantastic, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

Beautiful hotel with all the amenities you’d expect from a luxury hotel, at a lower price than comparable hotels in the U.S. Service was excellent! Doorman Jun Oh was exceptionally courteous and helpful, helping to book reservations, call cabs and translate to the driver to ensure our safe and accurate arrival. He ended up being our go-to guy for all of our questions and he was always friendly and happy to help. The rooms have standard U.S. outlets in addition to the Korean outlets so no adapters were needed. Location is across from a temple and very close to Lotte World, Aquarium, Olympic stadium, and Lotte duty-free shopping. Three restaurants in the hotel, Delicious food, drinks a bit overpriced. Concierge desk and all staff were very friendly and helpful though some with limited English needed to get additional help. overall a very pleasant stay, excellent facility, outstanding service. will definitely stay again.

There are two Intercontinental hotels and we were taken to the wrong one initially. However, the hotel arranged and paid for a taxi to take us to the right hotel, which is close by. Since Covid, the hotel no longer operates a shuttle to the airport. However, they again provided free taxi service to the limousine bus station where we booked a comfortable non-stop bus ride directly to the airport departure terminal. for about $13 U.S. dollars.
