I had the pleasure of staying at Lotte Guro City Hotel for 9 days during my work trip to Korea. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, surrounded by numerous amenities and easily accessible public transport options. The housekeeping staff was impressively efficient, ensuring a comfortable stay, and the front desk team was exceptionally helpful. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional customer service provided by the hotel staff. On the day of my check-out, I realised I had left my passport behind, creating a moment of panic for me. The hotel staff swiftly intervened, providing me with immediate assistance and organising a taxi to deliver my passport just in time. Their reassurance and prompt assistance were invaluable, ensuring I made my flight. I am so grateful for the hotel staff's professionalism, care, and dedication to their guests. I intend to stay at Lotte Guro City Hotel again during my next visit to Korea. Thank you so much for making my stay truly memorable.

All went well. Received a sudden invitation to a meeting in DDP and rush to hotel where asked if was possible a paid early check-in. The hotel provided it for free. Used coin laundry and microwave at 4th . The Gym is small but enough.

The carpet in my room seemed a bit worn out, and the breakfast could benefit from a broader selection of fruits. I was the only guest using the laundry when a security staff approached me precisely as I was transferring my clothes from the washing machine to the dryer. This encounter made me uncomfortable. It's a behavior I've often observed in supermarkets and shops towards black individuals, where security personnel seemingly make a point to "greet" us...

The hotel is modern and has all the facilities for a business traveller. And with some minor renovations it could easaly go for a 4* hotel. The Lotte group only would need to replace the carpet floor in the room with a more hygienic hard floor and replace the old fashioned bath tube with a modern shower place...et voila...4* are easy reachable. The breakfast had a large variety of food and tasty coffe choices from a coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable with soft pillows and matress....wonderfull sleeping guaranteed. Around the hotel building, there are several food stores to enjoy the Korean cuisine... I will stay here next time for sure!

I didn't like the floor carpet in the room and also the bath tube for take a shower....both old fashioned and not very hygienical...

Can't ask for better location. It's in a business district with a lot of restaurants around. Room was large and nice. There's also a currency exchange machine in the lobby, which saved me trips when I ran low on cash. It has a coin-laundry room, next to the gym. Close to different bus stations and subway station. Within short walking distance, there was a big alley filled with restaurants of all types. My problem was I didn't have enough time to try them all. There are also a bunch of good restaurants just behind and in front of the hotel. Staff was super friendly and easy to communicate with. There's also an Olive Young right outside the hotel. If you are sick of being pushed in other branches, you can come to this one. And I was able to find a couple of products which were sold out in other locations.

The gym was a big disappointment for me, although the hotel said they had plans to upgrade them. The gym only had treadmill, a stationary cycle, 3 benches and a bunch of dumbbells. That's it. Comparing to the other in-house gyms in the hotel, this one fell off the chart completely. And I wish it wasn't that expensive to stay there. But it's a 4-star hotel..... I get that.

Comfort in stay, secure and clean room, kind front desk staffs who can speak both korean and english, subway and bus stops are walkable distance, housekeeping is available everyday and even the houskeeping staff was very friendly and kind. good facilities like sensor lights in wardrobe, anti-steam mirror in bathroom, and cozy lights. there are many restaurants near the hotel. i found my stay very comfortable even though it was my first solo trip.

not a bad thing but i found that no sugar packs available inside room for making tea or coffee.. i was lazy so i just had my tea sugarless, i didnt ask the staff, but maybe if you ask they would provide. and the location is a little far away from the hotspots, but you can access easily through subways and bus which are walkable distance from hotel and also affordable.

There is a shuttle bus to and from the hotel, the shuttle bus picks you up and drops you off just in front of the hotel. That is super handy, and I wish it was more obvious to me that was the case! The bus is super comfortable, and it is a slightly long ride of 1h30m but at the bargain price compared to a taxi, or lugging check-in luggage around town on the Seoul metro, I think it's a great deal. The location is really good, but it is far from the rest of Seoul. We came here for a city trip to Seoul, but we didn't realize Seoul was HUGE. This hotel is value compared to hotels in the heart of Seoul, for sure, but be prepared to spend a lot of time on line 2.

The rugs looked a little bit gross. I guess some guests spill their drinks all over the place, it's weird. I would prefer a tile floor, just easier to keep clean. Minor issue here.

It's a good value for the price. The staff is very competent and friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily, although we didn't request it. There are a lot of places to eat around the hotel and a big supermarket next to it.

The breakfast choice can be improved, as it's more traditional than international and maybe add more halal food for those who don't eat pork.

A little far walk from the subway station for a tourist who’s always out and about

Hotel has a really good breakfast buffet. Our room was pretty spacious, comfortable beds, good conditioning/heating system that wasn’t loud. The smampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion was from Davines, a well known Italian brand that was a nice siurprize. Right in front of the hotel you can take a bus that that goes to Incheon airport.

There was some mold in the bathroom on the ceilings. The view from the window was to a construction site, but of course it is not hotel’s fault. The hotel is quite far from the city center but we knew that when booking it.

In a quiet area, ample eateries and convenience stores nearby. Room cleaning is always great and the cleaning lady was kind and friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Able to control room temperature. Decent gym, could do my usual workouts. Quiet at night! Slept great usually. (Very sensitive sleeper) They sell bath bombs from a little vending machine downstairs which made for lovely relaxing evenings.

11 minute walk away from the nearest train station. No room service for meals as far as i’m aware. Also the standalone table and chair provided, are an awkward height. Have to really hunch down to eat. Those are all really nitpicking to be honest. :)
