Helpful and polite staff. The location was great, Sinsa station was only a few walks away. Multiple shops, restaurants and ATM around the property. The common kitchen was so convenient. They had one on every floor. Didn’t really use their appliances but they had everything by the looks of it.

Cleaning was not as perfect as the first day of check in. i could feel the dust on the floor after a few days. The sound of water pipes was awful. i could hear the rumbling sound every time my neighbour would run their water faucets.

The breakfast was amazing. Everything was delicious, fresh and a lot of choice. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The guest laundry was really handy and the option of a kitchen really good too. The hotel is modern and in a very good location.

The lighting in the bathroom was not so good for applying makeup. Being on the main road I found the road noise a little loud and at one stage there was a very noisy family next door and the noise travelled through the walls quite a bit.

Staff exceptionally kind, helpful, all spoke English (called rides for us when we needed extra large vehicles) and were always available. Room lovely and well appointed for needs. Breakfast the best Ive ever had with huge number of options at buffet that changes daily. Restaurant open most of the time and so accommodating (was like our living room when friends visited). There are lots of restaurants also in neighborhood just a few blocks away.

1. New buildings, new facilities. 2. The best restaurant. All the food was delicious. 3. Not too crowded (yet). 4. Best location for tourists - close to all the fun things to do in Gangnam area. 5. All the staff are doing their best.

1. Paid parking system - you have to pay 15000KRW (11$) daily to park at the hotel. I spent over $200 extra on parking. 2. The passageway to the main street (LL level) is closed at night, so you have to take the elevator to the L level and then take another escalator to the LL level to get down to the main street. The reason for this is not clear. 3. Given the location of the hotel, it's not completely noise-free. You can hear traffic on the main road right next to the hotel. During my stay, which lasted just over two weeks, I was woken up once by the sound of construction on the main street. 4. Even inside the hotel, the soundproofing system doesn't seem to be very good. If there is a loud party going on in the hallway or in another room, you can hear everything.

The location, the complimentary drinks, the fact the room had a charger , this was very thoughtful of the hotel. The service was exceptional, I was greeted before I walked to the reception, gave me early check in. John Lim was very helpful and provided exceptional service

The shelving of the toiletries was a bit high in the bathroom, it would be good if it was lower and do make the nozzle tip longer to easily dispense the toiletries on the hand rather than the bottle. The pillows were too soft to my liking.

Breakfast was great. Oatmeal was served which I found comforting as the weather was very cold. The laundry facilities at Voco are excellent. I always return to Voco towards the end of my trip so I can do my laundry in clean surroundings. The room has a tap to wash your hands so that you can wash your hands after putting in your dirty clothing into the washer. No other laundry room seems to have this detail compared to Voco. On the other hand, the communal room, is right door so you can wash your hands with handwash too. I particularly love this, that's why I love the coin laundry facility at Voco. The staff were nice and polite. The guys were absolute gentlemen helping me with my luggage and the cab. Voco's service staff rock.

My room size. It's quite small. Then again, I was only staying for a night, as I came to do my laundry and it's right nearby my meeting place the next day before I leave so maybe, not a big issue. I will try out a bigger room if Im staying longer as my opening my luggage was troublesome due to the room size.

A clean, modern boutique style hotel with all the comforts and amenities you would expect from a 4 star.

The service was a bit inconsistent at times, seems to be a lack of communication between staff, as what is provided/promised seems to differ from day to day and between/from different staff/housekeeping. Also its a shame guests are not free to seat themselves at breakfast or left in peace, with constant reminded about closing time. Being informed at check-in, or when arriving in the dining room, is enough. The guest can be trusted to remember! It's clear when staff close that service is over.

It’s a new hotel in a good location close to a sinsa subway station where you can get 2 lines you can ride and switch from easily. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke well English and were very welcoming for any inquiries or questions. Their restaurant at the lobby was delicious. If you stay long they would special offer for you when you dine-in.

Cleaning wasn’t proper some days the room is cleaned good not perfect but other days are so-so. Unfortunately some spots are completely missed like under the sink or near the window.

The hotel room had everything you needed : cables for charging up to three gadgets simultaneously conveniently located by the bed, toiletries were spot on, among other facilities with comfort in mind. Service was very good too-- especially by Jack, the night clerk, who happily and patiently accommodated all my questions about the area to help orient me. This was at midnight on the first day. The rest of the team helped arrange a car and driver for me in the succeeding days. There was a quick response to requests for replenishing the minibar and other questions on the facilities.

Seoul is vast and the neighborhood you choose will have a lot of bearing on how you get around as taxis are the most convenient transport option, but they are not readily available at certain times of the day. Garosu-gil, where the hotel is, is an upscale neighborhood with a lot of dining and shopping options nearby. However, it is quiet, with most places closed by 10 pm. Its about a 15-20 minute walk to Agpujeong, which is more vibrant. So it depends on the preference of the traveler. The hotel's gym is small, and when I went, the treadmill didn't work. Luckily, there was a gym nearby. The hotel was good, just don't think I would choose this area next time.

Brand new hotel in the heart of Gangnam within walking distance to a multitude of excellent restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops. # minutes walk to Sinsa metro. Exceptional service that beats any 5 star hotels in the USA or Europe. The reception staff could not do enough to help us with recommendations on places to visit, restaurant and directions. The huge king size bed, duvet and king sized luxurious down pillows were best of any of the hotels during our 9 week trip. Very impressed with the housekeeping. During our 7 night stay the housekeeping refilled the minibar daily with complimentary high quality bear, soju and soft drinks. Daily changed the large, soft bath towels, both rolls of toilet paper and did a very detailed cleaning. Each floor has a communal kitchen with fridge, microwave, utensils and dining table, there are 2 sets of large capacity washer and dryers on the 3rd floor, 3000 Won per load. Plenty of 240V and USB outlets, clean hardwood floors and plenty of storage in our 300ft room on the 14th floor, with good view of the Namsan Tower and the Han River. This was, by far, the best hotel we stayed at during our month in S Korea and look forward to coming back soon.
